Remove VHLM Career Years

Wasn't the counter argument for this back then was they didn't want people to spend years in the VHLM and stocking up on TPE before going into VHL?

I like how the SBA does it - your NCAA seasons don't count toward your players "age," but there's a hard cap of 199 TPE. If you go over 199 or finish your fourth season, you're auto-entered into the upcoming draft.

This is mainly for those people like first gens who come in with 30 TPE. Those who don't want to spend years in the VHLM will know how to get out of there when they need to get out. Or they could always talk to their GM about playing up.

@Will @Beketov @Devise @JardyB10 maybe this can be implemented this off-season for those currently in the VHLM? No one has posted against it and we all know it would be very helpful for those who have to stay another season. This way those members can enjoy the full 8 seasons instead of just 7.

Why would they want to?

To beat Tyler Vassel records? Do it for fun? For lolz? For stats? Or simply because it could be @BluObieZ ? or whatever Anderson? I mean wasn't this a point of contention when it was originally asked back in like...pre-S20 or something?

Then he's a VHLM forever player. or just put a 3-5 season limit to this.

See above. Putting limitation just limits the damage. Or you can time it to cap -1, wait till new season starts then go again and have cap+entire season then start in VHL with like 400-500 starting TPE?

Well presumably the only way this would happen is if the person went inactive and if they are inactive they should be auto-retired after so many seasons anyway. It wouldn't be very common to have a member chose to stay in the minors while staying active on the boards and not collecting welfare or doing point tasks.

So what happens if someone decides to stay in the VHLM for 1 below cap forever?

What happens if they do this? Then they do this. So be it. It doesn't break the league to let people enjoy things.
