  1. Yea this is so dope. The Nashville Predators jerseys are perfect to use for the wild - especially with the saturation. The jersey change is almost perfect (could use some warping on the logo with the way the jersey is) and the flushed out filer brings the whole thing together. The render on the left side and a more detailed background on the left really balance out the layout of this sig. The text creative with using the logo as the design and I like the extra detail to add "WILD" to the pants. The first name text was a little hard to pick out, but otherwise this is another great BOOM sig. 9.75/10
  2. Love these ones from you. The banner looks great - especially with the texture. I still have no idea how you do these things but it is awesome for the league. The jersey template you have for London is also very nice - I l love the design on the pants. The YouTube video adding the music goes to show the level of detail that you put into making these graphics - even the crowd noises added in like a typical banner raising ceremony. Would be really cool to have this integrated in the HoF for new inductees. 10/10
  3. 1. We are currently hanging on to the top spot overall in the VHL but a few teams are close behind. Can we hold on and capture our first Victory Cup since S67? I hope so - our squad seems to be jiving really well and we're rolling. If we just stay the way we are we should have no trouble at the Victory Cup. 2. We're on pace to have our best offensive season since S81 (279 GF). How many goals will we have by the end of the season? I say we crush this and get in the 300s. Every game we have someone stepping up and dominating offensively. I believe this is the best offensive team in Legion history. 3. Which do you think will happen first in the VHL: The next 70-goal scorer or 100-assist scorer? 100 assists for sure. goal scoring is just so hard and there's a higher chance of getting an assist than a goal. 2nd assists can come pretty easy sometimes. With the right luck - 100 assists seems easy. 4. If Toronto used a third color to accent the double blue jerseys, what color do you think would look good? Why not black? I think it would work well with the Legion and help pull away from matching the Helsinki color scheme. B 5. Diego Machado is on pace to become Toronto's first 50-goal scorer since Paul Atreides in S83. Will he make it and how many goals will he end up with? Absolutely, he's rocking it and I'm going to guess 52. 6. Which NHL playoff matchup intrigues you the most? Which matchup could you care less about? Panthers/Lightning because they are going to kill eachother and it should be high tempo hockey. Probably Islanders Canes for most boring. I have the Isles upsetting though.
  4. [TORONTO] “Seems like everything’s falling in place this year” That was a comment from Jimi Jax following the Toronto Legion’s latest practice – and he’s not wrong. The American center is in line to smash his career high this season and could do it as early as this week with more than 15 games left to pad onto it. The Toronto Legion continued their dominance this season with an 8-1 drubbing over the Davos, a game that included 2 goals from Jax. Jimi is seeing himself among the top 10 in scoring and is 4 goals behind the lead league. He’s only 2 more goals away from tying his season high of 39 and is easily expected to surpass that. “The puck just keeps going in for me. Everything is clicking in all areas for this team. When the team is playing so well around you, there’s a lot less stress and it’s a lot more fun”. Similar to last week – Jax remains third in scoring on the Legion as the 2nd line continues to dominate their minutes. He’s enjoying their big performance this season. “Usually you’re on the bench dying to get out there – but me and Mac (Atlas) joke about how we’re excited to come off and watch the second line play.”
  5. RIGA REIGN PRESS CONFERENCE April 14th, 2024 1. Are you ready for this season to be over and move on to next year? 2. What's the attitude like in the locker room ? 3. What's a positive you've seen from one of your teammates this season? 4. How do you treat the rest of this season - personal development, team bonding? 5. Are you keeping an eye on how the rest of the league is performing? 6. Are you excited for the NHL Playoffs to finally start?
  6. At the exact half point of the 93rd VHL Season, the Toronto Legion sit in first place as the team keeps rolling. The driver of this dominance come from their two S89 draftees Diego Machado and Harry Callahan, who have combined for 46 goals and 72 assists for the baby blues. This performance, on top of the usual contributions of the core that consists of Joel Castle, Mac Atlas, Jimi Jax, and Bobby Bob – has elevated this team to a serious contender for the 4th straight season. “I think this may be the best roster we’ve had since I’ve been here” – Jax said after practice on Friday. “It reminds us of having Sogaard and Lavelle, but instead of veteran superstars we have young superstars just entering their prime. The sky is the limit for us.” Jax is on his way to another career season with the Legion – but its overshadowed by his off-line being the best in the league with three players within the top 10 scorers. “They are making it easier on me to score – other teams have to send their best guys against them, so me and Mac get easier matchups”. Jax and Atlas – who’ve been with Toronto from the start, look to continue their dynasty and search for another championship with the Legion
  7. RIGA REIGN PRESS CONFERENCE April 7th, 2024 1. This seems like one of the toughest seasons Riga has had - how do you feel? 2. Our long beloved GM @hedgehog337 is stepping down. 9. Review I like the use of the Leafs third jerseys as a Legion template. Feel like it could be a really nice theme for a Legion third jersey. You did a good job with the hockey card themed graphic. One of the thing that stands out to me is the colors applied to the background - almost gives it a miami vice look, but the render sticks out a lot more from it. Not a bad jersey change as you took the time to get rid of the Leafs logo to fit the Legion logo in. The 2D graphics applied with the name and "RW" are laid out nicely - although I think "RW" should be in white. I love the font of the blue text on top - but not sure about he position. It would be cool to put it behind the render and a fit more faded just to add a little more depth (again just my opinion). Overall this is still a nice graphic that took some time to put together.
  10. Review Very nice creativity with this one. It's clear by the title of the thread the intention was to bring the render inside of the white on the logo. The filters applied to it also add some nice detail and its just not a player inside a plain white canvas. I like the idea of having the city in the background, but also even more textures and filters added to show that you put some work into this. It would still nice to have some text somewhere - maybe in the black on the bottom left portion of the logo. Also some lighting would work wonders here as it would bring the graphic together a bit more. Nonetheless, its nice to see some different ideas being applied to graphics here. 8.5/10

Really love this one and how you made an extremely large text stroke actually work. The render + background of the layer is placed nice and I love the black and white background vs the colored render. The texture and stocks are just enough to fill out the rest of the graphic without being too much to take away from the renders. Love the blue colored last name text. My only criticism is that its a little too "fried" for me, especially for the team text. But that's more of a personal opinion on the fried effect than anything. The first name text is pretty clean though - love that font. 9.25/10
  13. Pretty neat idea to have it ocean themed. I love the watered down text to go with the fish in the background lol. Jersey change is clean but would have been nice to stick with the color theme of the Lynx. Obviously would like to see lighting and textures for depth, but know you use a quick graphic software that doesn't really allow that. The background is a nice mix of the actual ocean but a watery texture that works for general graphics. It's the creativity that makes this sig and ends up being one of your better ones. 7.75/10

  15. The 93rd VHL season is just around the corner and Jimi Jax is just about ready to get the season started. The American center is just coming off his second World Cup of Hockey – where the USA fell short to Sweden in overtime for the gold medal game. “It was pretty disappointing, but I did have a fun time and it was a nice warm-up in preparation for the season”. The star Legion player re-upped with Toronto over the offseason and intends to provide a leadership role for the team as they remain competitive heading into the season. “Mac and I have been here forever, and plan to be here for the longevity of our careers. We want to keep this team competitive and help our younger players be the best that they can be”. Jax is coming off a career year where he saw his two-way play at its best and hopes to continue that into S93. “Yea, it definitely felt good in all 200FT of the ice for me, I’m hoping to build off that and maybe even contend for a Boulet.” It will be year 6 now for the Legion forward – with one championship under their belt – they are hoping to grab another.
