    Plans for the future

Nice read! The one thing that I would say from my own experience is if you aren't really interested in investing too much into checking (that attribute and the fighting one are the main ones that are used for determining penalties), you don't really need to add anything into discipline as having low checking and fighting will limit your PIMs anyway. E.g. My player is on 40 checking and fighting with 40 discipline as well and he's yet to exceed 30 PIMs in a season. There are very occassional random exceptions to that rule, but they don't happen enough to the point where a player with low checking would need to be looking at improving discipline as well. And yes, reputation is essentially number of likes received and I believe any of the other reaction emojis that you can select instead of the like add to that total as well.

    Plans for the future

Hi Matt: I would focus TPE on Puck Handling, Scoring and Defence with secondary focus on Passing, Checking, Skating and Strength. I really wouldn't waste my time on the other attributes as they're less of a factor. Focus on the first three and try to get them to at least 80 + and then work on the other four attributes, then your player will be even better offensively. Try to earn your max 12 capped TPE each week, along any available uncapped TPE you can earn here. As for the reputation question, Idk but get involved in the topics here. Nice to meet you!

    Plans for the future

My player Matthew Materazo has slowly been making a name for himself, after being drafted 3rd in the recent VHLM draft, and 18th in the VHL draft.I am at exactly point per game pace, which is a touch higher than I expected. However, there is a lot of room to improve. Lets take a look at my plans for the future for my player will be. For the immediate future, my plan is to work on discipline, strength, and defense. Not that much strength, just get it to 50. I want discipline to 55 and Defense to 60. I think I only need 15-20 TPE to do this, so it won’t take long. Maybe two full weeks to get that much TPE. After I hit those markers, I will try to hit 80 on scoring, passing, puck handling and skating. Those are the big offensive stats, so it’s good to keep those up if I want to be up there on the points leaderboard. Once I hit 80 for those four categories, I’m probably going to keep putting them into the seven categories I listed. Penalty shot I don’t even bother, and checking I only plan to get to like 55 at most, but there is room to put more into checking if I get an obscene amount of TPE. Discipline is pretty important though, so I don’t keep penalizing the team. I may even put a few points into leadership, get that to like 50. Nobody knows what the future holds, but we now have a rough idea. Also- is reputation based on how many reactions you get on posts? So if someone likes this article, I get one reputation?

    Peace on VHL drama.

This is mostly “in character” role play.

Jerwa step away from demanding a trade

It is character building satire and directly related to what he was pulling out in another league. If I wanted out I'd just let you know. Not really sure why are you talking with Dahlberg on Discord and decided to get all serious on me here.
  7. 2 points
Well, if this isn't satire then this is a really awful way of coming out and saying you want a trade. Yknow, maybe like talking to your GM or something would be better. I'm gonna pretend this isn't satire and explain this for maybe the 5th time already. Dahlberg is the player I planned on building around, and he went 2nd overall. He asked for a bigger contract and I had no problem doing so because again, 2nd overall. I gave contracts based on draft position, and that's only the first season. Even though you went 9th, you have the second biggest contract on the TEAM. On top of this, all rookies are getting paid the same after this season. How much is Dahlberg making in S66? 1M. How much are you making in S66? 1M. oh shit. Dahlberg got more money because he asked for more. Not to mention, if you win ANY award you get a contract bonus. I don't understand on why you insist on turning this into a problem discussion everytime it's brought up. Even if this is a satire post, I've explained this many times so there's no reason for this to be a thing.

Jerwa step away from demanding a trade

Jerwa starting to think about demanding a trade, after spending a month together with Elias Dahlberg. He was already afraid of it during the preseason when he got personally attacked by the last season second overall pick, for not signing a rookie contract immediately, as it turns out it was because Dahlberg wanted to receive more money himself. Instead of continuing the grudge, Jerwa decided to give it a chance, since he respects other teammates and GMs that decided to take on a chance on continuing within an organization that seems to have a bright future, but recent events made him reconsider this. Elias isn't nearly living up to his 2nd Overall status as he is clearly slacking on during team training and prefer to shit talk other teams and players instead of putting in honest work towards his craft. His ego is unbearable and makes locker room far less enjoyable experience. Furthermore, Jerwa's suspicion was confirmed after it came to his attention that he bought extremely expensive, but legal performance-enhancing drugs with money from rookie contract Jerwa didn't get. Other methods of his training dropped, and picks from 3-5 range like Mark Gebauer, Pat Svoboda or Joel Ylonen might have proven to be better choices. What is really making Jerwa not wanting to be in Davos is anymore is Dahlberg on ice-performance. They all knew it's a tank year in Davos, but at least you could put up some effort. Only thing Elias doing on ice is hunting for goals, even his assists are just really his rebounded shots. He refuses to check opponents, evident by barely any hits and the only 3 blocked shots came when he got hit by a puck when trying to hunt for counter-attack opportunities, instead of positioning properly. His 6 PIM are laughable as well and he earned not through hard play, but because of delay of game penalties, when he either berated referees or teammates.

    Dahlberg Responds to Jerwa's Comments

After the Davos morning skate a reporter asked if Dahlberg had heard what Jerwa @majesiu said. Dahlberg said this in response.

    Peace on VHL drama.

RIGA, LATVIA — Drama has once again sparked through the league as HC Davos prospects Jerwa and Dahlberg have begun fighting with each other, blaming one another for Davos’s poor play and piling losses. Unfortunately that is the tune for rebuilding teams, but Peace has this to say: ”It’s uh, kinda expected from one party but honestly I can’t say I know the other side very well either.” Peace admitted. “Jerwa is an alumni member of the Wild, but he wasn’t really involved in our locker room. Great defensmen but he kinda kept to himself, and speaking as Saskatoon’s acting General Manager he never really demanded anything or asked for much.” “As for Dahlberg he’s not a professional,” Peace stayed. “He’s a talented player, I’ll give him that, but he’s got no class and rubs his “awards” in people’s faces like they’re important or something.” ”Jerwa is right about his ego though, Dahlberg isn’t known for being a polite individual.” Peace refused to comment on more, simply stating the drama from the last draft class was retarded. Contract holdouts, trade demands, insults on teammates. The VHL has become a high school now, apparently.

Thanks for all the tips! I won't be putting much into discipline now, thanks to you guys. I'll also be working on my scoring more now, and with my 8 TPE on the way, I plan on getting from 70 to 74 in scoring

    1. If forced to choose, would you rather win the Stolzschweiger Trophy or the Continental Cup in your rookie season? 2. How are you finding life in the big leagues in Riga? 3. What are your career aspirations? 4. Did you have any preferred destinations back on draft day in S63? 5. Name one thing the VHL should improve as top priority.

Yeah just entering one and we already nearly have a full 11 man roster with 2 actives in the minors and a top 3 pick this season with my GM player coming soon. I will break the league TPE record again with my next center. It’ll be fun though, Davos was our main rival last go around so it’ll be fitting if they are again.

    VHLM Rivalries

Where are the rivalries at? Dick Rash is always down to throw the haymakers with a dancing partner. NHL is too soft these days. VHLM needs to take it back to the roots. I'm talking Broad Street Bullies, bench clearing brawls, running the goalie from the blueline type of league. Give the fans what they want. I'm sick of seeing Mr. Softee get a pass into the zone 1-on-2. D needs to step up and deliver the dynamite. We've set the tone in Halifax and I've got all your numbers...and your baby momma's numbers (don't worry, I ain't got time to be cuffed up). Bring it on. I want to see some passion in the game. Forget Wednesday Night Rivalries on NBCSN. I want VHLM Daily Rivalry Night. Where are the rivalries at? If there are any, how did they begin? What teams? I'm always down for a tense rivalry.
