Calgary Wranglers new Logo
SirRupertBarnes and 9 others reacted to Beketov for a topic
Some of you may remember awhile ago @Motzaburger (where are you bud?) and @Da_Berr collaborated on a new logo for the Calgary Wranglers. Some of you may also remember that Bushito, the GM of Calgary at the time, didn't care for it. Well Bush is gone now and @Jubis happens to be quite fond of getting rid of what I have deemed the derp horse. So, even though you have mostly all seen it before, I present to you the new and improved Calgary Wranglers logo! Keeping the colour scheme and the overall theme of the wranglers logo, important for such a historical team, this new logo en10 points -

Miami is having a season for the history books. They were projected to be a lottery team at the beginning of the season with everyone already counting them out of the playoff picture. They had maybe five active members at the start of the season who were getting lots of minutes while they learned the ropes of the VHL. They struggled for the first half of the season sitting a few spots out of 8th in the standings. They began recruiting members as the great recruitment drive of S74 began. They were quick to recruit members to fill out their roster and were able to DROP inactive members in order7 points

Greatest Australian Players From the Portal Era
a_Ferk and 5 others reacted to SirRupertBarnes for a topic
Welcome back to another entry of the greatest players from the portal era. Today we’re going to be heading down under and looking at the greatest Australian players of the portal era. Normally the format I use is five skaters and one goalie but Australia only has a handful of players who have even made it to the VHL. There’s a couple quality players I felt were worth making a shorter list for so I’ll only be including them. Now with that out of the way let’s get right into the list! If Every VHL GM Were a Historical World Leader
solas and 4 others reacted to GustavMattias for a topic
So I've had this idea for way longer than I'd like to admit (think, like, a year), but it wasn't until @rory and I actually talked about it last week (he's doing VHLM and probably knows his stuff a good deal better than I do) that I actually decided to do it. As luck would have it, I'm out of media spot claims, and I do need to write something (hopefully) substantial to cover for any possible inadequacies/lack of sleep to come in the relatively near future. It's now time to compare every GM to a historical world leader--I may get stuff wrong, I may miss obvious comparisons, but what the hell,5 points -

Draft Hype?
Ledge_and_Dairy and 4 others reacted to Nordin for a topic
So I know I’ve written on this a few times and all but what can I say, I’m stoked for the upcoming VHL draft. I’ll get to find out where I’ll be going in the near future. I don’t think I have a particular place I want to go at the moment. But I’ll list the things that would be nice to have in order: 1. Teams that have never won and need help or who are experiencing long droughts (longer then 13 years) 2. Teams in Bug Markets 3. Teams with good color schemes and uniforms I don’t need those but it would be nice to help out those type of teams or having the opti5 points -
Well, tonight the Marauders might get eliminated. The Aces have won the last three games, so I'm not too hopeful, either. So I figured I would squeak in a media spot featuring every single player on this team, and what they've done for the team during this amazing run. And thanks in advance to @Ricer13 and @Zetterberg if you guys can't get Juniper back at the draft. This season has been incredible. Onto the reviews: Peter Louis ll, 163 TPE @CosmicStorm Louis has been a huge part of our playoff run. While being overshadowed by the hot new rookies, Louis kept his cool and p4 points

Excitement Building In Saskatoon SASKATOON - Although there will be no parade through the streets of Saskatoon this season, the hometown Wild having been eliminated in the first round of the VHLM Playoffs by the Mississauga Hounds, excitement for the next season is already in full swing. Even in a season many expected to be a down year for the Wild, General Manager Thomas Landry and Assistant General Manager Timothy Brown delivered a competitive squad that at times was atop the VHLM standings. My Experience with the Miami Marauders, Playoffs, and VHL
fyrefly and 3 others reacted to Nikdandrea34 for a topic
My time with the Miami Marauders, although very short as I joined halfway through the season, has been very enjoyable because the entire atmosphere of the team, and the people throughout the league as a whole, is very welcoming and helpful. There has not been a single person who I have encountered that has been rude or in any way mean, everyone is nice and makes participating in the league feel like you’re actually a part of something more than just a sim. My teammates and the management are all active and focused on developing the team and making sure we keep updating and upgrading our player4 points -
Laine, Titans agree to 3 Year Contract Extension
JigglyGumballs and 2 others reacted to PatrikLaine for a topic
Vancouver, B.C - Less than 24 hours before the first game of the Continental Cup Finals, Patrik Laine and the Helsinki Titans have agreed to a 3 year contract extension. The contract has a total value of 9 Million and carries a 3 Million AAV. Laine has one year left a 1.5M dollars before this extension kicks in. This keeps Laine a Titan until the end of S78. We managed to catch a word with Laine to see what his comments were on his extension. "Yeah, I mean Helsinki was always my number one option. Deep Thoughts With Gustav

It's 2:30 in the morning, I've got nothing better to do, and I have 2 more TPE to earn for the week. I'm also fresh out of ideas because I'm not good at coming up with them on the spot. So, I'm going to just sit down and write for a bit on whatever comes to mind--I guess this is a bit of a @flyersfan1453-type "random thoughts" article, though I doubt mine will have as much actual substance as I just plan on rambling for however long I feel like and I don't plan on talking about anything specific. Miami And Vegas Battle it Out In Epic Game 7
tcookie and one other reacted to NickSunderbruch for a topic
The playoffs are where giants die, and where underdogs shine. Miami was the favorite to win the cup last season, and they choked. They were the lowest seed this season, yet they beat the top two seeds in 7 games. The Ace's went down this series 3-0 and turned it around to force a game 7, but in the seventh game, things just didn't go to the Ace's favor. Early on in the game, the first period, Miami went up 2-0 with big goals from Peter Louis II with his 7th of the playoffs, and a goal from Addison McLaren with their 6th of the playoffs. The first goal was scored at 1:23 in the first period, an2 points -

Condor Adrienne on the Move from Malmo? Legends were born to play in the VHL...well...legends and Logan Laich. With that being said, one of those legends (maybe even the king of them) may just be on the move. One rumours site titled “ProbablynotTrueRumours” came out with the following quote: “We have been hearing from many anonymous totally real and important sources that Condor Adrienne, the future Hall of Famer and current best defender (and maybe player) in the league is likely to be on the move to one of the other teams in the league. Why FrostBeard?

Hey there everyone who actually cares to read anything I write. As my path in VHL has been very interesting I wanted to actually tell you about my name - FrostBeard and where it comes from. I have been using this name for over 5 years across many different platforms. Previously (And still in some communities like World of Tanks) I used a name - SelonianViking but that is another story. Actually, being called Frost was a somewhat of an everyday thing when I was a part of Youth Guard (Youth organization for National Guard in Latvia). Our instructor decided that it would be fun to assign Call-s2 points -
As the final seconds ticked away, all Thomas Landry II could do was watch helplessly from the bench. Goaltender Woody McPine retrieved the dump-in, sending it to rookie John LeClair II. His desperation pass to set up one last scoring chance was intercepted, ironically, by former Phantom Seabass Perrin, and that was that. The Helsinki Titans won Game Three 6-4, completing the sweep and moving on while Prague again was going home in disappointment. They'd fought so hard to get here, but it was over as soon as it had started. Once again, they spilled over the bench onto the ice not in celebration2 points
