  1. Just bumping this. A bunch of changes and patches have been amended. The format for how information is presented on each Character Bio has been changed. I've added and amended a few rules, made some balance tweaks overall to the way a high majority of the characters played although left them within similar themes and vibes. Jail has slightly changed as well. I'll get a proper thread up for Signups for Game 2 soon after I properly close Game 1. Just for people interested in reading the changes, they are in fact in.
  2. The Thunderdome is just a time capsule of bad takes confirmed.
  3. Ilya Bryzgalov is excited heading into the off-season, as he looks to be drafted to a VHLM team this off season. Bryz joined the VHLM last season, and while he only played two games he feels that fans got to see a version of him that wasn't that far off where he was in the NHL. The player had this to say on the subject; "Well I mean, my stats you can look them up. That is about how I was playing before I left the game. It's just healthy to know that no matter what happens I'll be on an upward trend from this point on. I wanted to get back into this game to see if I could get back to the level I was playing at when people knew how much I loved the universe. It seems that for now, I have a humongous big hurdle ahead of me but I like hurdles, they keep you in shape. I like turtles too, a hell of a lot more than bear in the woods. Quote me on that one." It remains to be seen which VHLM team wants to take a crake at the eccentric netminder or how early he could even go. I'd probably say somewhere in the third or fourth round given where things line up, unless a team really needs a goalie and once to take a crazy chance.
  4. 12 more days till index is due, man what is with these short E playoffs someone should get on changing that...
  5. Absolute rockstars implementing this so smoothly.
  6. I know, I got halfway into the thread and remembered what the hell was really going on.
  7. Yeah I'll wrap this up later tonight and give out the perks to Gotham and Deadshot who both won! Well, living Gotham. I've got a bunch of patch notes, balance changes and character fixes to roll out too. I'm going to try to get to updating that asap and then look at setting up a second game relatively quickly too. For those interested, thanks for helping me play test this though folks!
  8. Apologies there everyone game is not in fact dead (but it could be finished?) I'm here to officially close yesterdays Day and Night phase and report on what occurred. During the Day Gotham got enough votes to jail someone was @Molholt received 5 votes to jail him. MMMFlex, DoomsdayX3, and Rory) Despite Fear City being active, Molholt has been jailed confirming that he is a villain role. As far as events that occurred last night to report on: @jhatty8 broke out of prison last night! Bat Signal - JHatty8 used a night action, Pytrell was prevented from using a night action. Looking at the remaining rolesheet and what could/could not occur I believe it is very unlikely that Mob can pick up a win here so pending what people decide we could choose to end the game and give Gotham the win. I believe as they know most of the role list or close to it they are relatively clear on who they should be jailing from this point out even with an exposed Bruce Wayne. Let me know if that is what ya'll would like to do with who is out and what is left.
  9. Currently at 5 votes to Jail for Molholt. (MMMFlex, DoomsdayX3, and Rory)
  10. The Bat-Cave was in fact destroyed, I noted that in one of my start of day posts.
  11. 9 living non jailed players means we again need 5 votes to jail somebody today.
  12. Day 6 has begun! As it is the start of Day 6 as well, I forgot. Fear City: At the beginning of Day 6 if Scarecrow is alive if Gotham votes to jail a player that is not a Villain, that player is instead executed. (This isn’t considered an attack.) Fear City is disabled at the end of Day 8. Scarecrow has encased the city in fear, any vote to jail a target that isn't a villain results in a death instead of a jail attack. This will be activated all the way to the end of Day 8 regardless of what happens to Scarecrow from here on out.
  13. Good day Gotham! We have a few orders of business to get to from the results last night so let's do it. For starters, I hope that the Bat-Family (and Gotham) enjoyed the Bat-Cave because a living Bane (jailed or otherwise) means that Bat-Cave has been destroyed! We had a vote to expose Batman that occurred during the phase yesterday and here are the results. 8 Total people voted, which means we only needed 4 votes to Reach 50% Votes: 6 for Zack 1 for MMFlex 1 for Doomsday With 6 votes that is enough, Zack is....in fact... BATMAN! Batmans secret identity has been exposed and he is been reduced to the Bruce Wayne role! Bruce Wayne - You have no night actions, cannot be jailed, and you can no longer access the Bat-Family Discord. Your vote counts for 4 instead of 1. That isn't all we have to report on either, @Adrest245 finds himself in jail following the events of last night. With the Bat Signal still active Gotham has learned the following: Zack used a Night Action Ben used a Night Action.
  14. Can confirm this is true. Nigthwing now has the Teen Titan perk activated. We also wrap up Night 5 with not enough votes to send anyone to jail. Molholt was the closest with 4 by my last count, so it appears we'll have to see what Night 5 can bring for Gotham or the Mobs hope of claiming victory. Make sure you message me your actions and if you need to the vote to confirm Batman's identity, that'll go through for the start of the Day phase which will be around 1 PM ET.
  15. Hi Gotham. I need to send out that old mass tag again because the Mob is attempting to expose Batman again! I'll be sending out the DM's but all living players (including jailed players) can choose to vote on Batmans identity. If at least 50% of the majority vote has it correct, Batman is exposed and reduced to his Bruce Wayne role. Missing votes or votes to abstain lower the amount required to expose. I'll also note that Gordons 3x ability does count towards the vote to expose Batman. I'll also note that disrupted players who cannot vote during the day phase also cannot vote to expose Batman and count as a forced abstain. Rule wise too just so people are clear how some things work. You can still be the target of abilities while in jail. Jail doesn't prevent you from being targeted. I wasn't particularly "clear" on that in the initial ruleset but there is nothing that states otherwise and it was always meant to be that people could still get to you in jail. It would just, like make no sense to be using jail attacks on a jailed target, for example. Further while jailed, targets could potentially be more exposed depending on their abilities. Heroes and Villains do not lose whatever existing death attack saves they have remaining but as jail prevents all non passive abilities from activating, any of those abilities would not help the target. That should clear that up for this game and I have a bunch of language things and other things I"m going to be adding now that we've had a game to flesh out the ruleset a bit so that it should make things even easier going forward. On top fo like, actual patch notes I already have for a few aspects/roles. Anywhoo, carry on I'll send everyone the vote for Batman in DM's.
  16. Sorry for the delayed opening here everyone, insomnia Devise has finally dug into the fresh weed. Let's just say sleep was had. In Gotham news though, let us get to what unfolded last night after a day in which town just couldn't quite get in sync regarding votes. Believe it or not we have no deaths to report on last night. A first I believe for us in ToG. Musta been happy hour somewhere. We do however have a jail to report on. @jhatty8 wakes up to find himself behind bars, he was jailed last night. With Bat-Signal still active Gotham is going to learn the following: Molholt was the target of a night action. Pytrell used a night action. With 10 non-jailed living players that leaves us with 5 votes to jail today. Day 5 has begun. I'll also note that IF there is both a living Luscious Fox and Batman right now that the Bat-Cave would be active starting today. So all perks in the rolesheet that require a Bat-Cave would be active. Day 5 has begun!
  17. As we close up shop for the Day, Gotham finds itself one vote shy of a jailing. We currently sit with 5 votes to Jail Molholt (Doomsday x3, Rory, MMFLEX) and 1 votes to Jail Ben (Molholt) Night 4 has begun, get your night actions in to me and we'll see what chaos ensues tonight.
  18. Day phase closing between 1-2 am ET btw.
  19. Accurate day and night phases? Ha, what a concept. Gotham and plays by Devises rules.... Shocking nobody we had yet another busy night on the streets of Gotham City. Heroes feeling pressured with time in the wake of a mass jailbreak, and villains getting tired of seeing key information leaking out. @Squidward wakes up to find himself behind bars! He was jailed last night. There has been yet another murder in the streets. @Ricer13 has been shot in cold blood, his role was....Private Investigator. A coin with two heads on it was found next to his corpse. The Bat Signal was also active last night, meaning Gotham gets to learn some information today. For those unfamiliar with how this works I'll just post how it's ruled here. Bat Signal: While Gordon is alive in the game, the Bat Signal bonus is activated. While active, after every night Gotham learns information about two random non-Gotham night actions the previous night. Information can be a player targeted, a player who chose to engage in a night action, or what the night action was itself. These night actions have to be initiated by a non-Gotham player, and will be posted in the at the start of the day in the public thread. Gotham Learns that last night: A jail attack was used to jail a target. Ben used a night action last night. 11 living non jailed players means you need 6 votes to send someone to jail today Gotham. Day 4 has begun!
  20. Day 3 is over. Rallying behind their newly resurrected Commissioner the citizens of Gotham have found an easy target following a crippling jailbreak upon the death of the Blackgate Jailor. Gotham is sticking with the Jailors word though, as he had called for @NSG to be jailed last night prior to the jailbreak. Votes: NSG: 10 I think (Flex, Ben, Goli, Hatty, Ricer, Mo, Adrest , DoomsDay With more than enough votes, NSG finds himself back in jail. Night phase has begun, day phase will begin at 2:30 ET (12 hours from now)
  21. What happens if Vancouver wins again next season though?
  22. 4 in the game, including already revealed unique roles....
  23. Going to end this Day Phase around 1AM ET tomorrow morning, so get all your actions in (Day or night) just so long as you get them to me I'll make sure to include them.
  24. Members of Bat-Family and some other members of Gotham are still capable of jailing, on top of the fact that there is a vote to jail. Those with Discord access (Including Commissioner Gordon for example) still see the jail discord as normal so they'll still be able to get info. The only real downside to it as that Gotham can't release people manually from jail any longer, and has to trust the info they have.
