wow, I thought i got tagged specifically in this post. I got all excited, I thought "wow, Phil still thinks about me?" Now I see it was a members tag. I feel infinitely less special now. How could you do this to me?

FacePuncher got a reaction from Cornholio in LPLL going out with a bang
LPLL going out with a bang
After a long career as a tough guy, LPLL is making sure to make his last season one of his best seasons with a stellar performance on the stat sheet. Of course, by this we dont mean his performance in the points column, we mean his performance in the enforcer and defensive columns!
So far this season, LPLL is on a roll. He is second in the league in penalty minutes with 256, third in the league in hits with 293, and eighth in the league in blocked shots with 149. He also has managed to put together a decent fighting record this season, with 3 wins, 2 losses, and 3 ties. As an enforcer defenseman, this is how LPLL makes his money. "I'm happy that I can play the game at a high level still after all these seasons in the GOMHL and the VHL."
Sadly, Toronto was not able to make it into the playoffs this season. Toronto is already eliminated, and LPLL will play his last VHL game at home against the Riga Reign. When asked what he will do next, LPLL said that he plans to take his talents to the SHL, the only hockey league yet to see him in action

Pretty low honestly. He just hasn't been the same kind of dominant enforcer like he was in the GOMHL
Overall he has been surprisingly one of my favorite players i've made. I love the enforcer thing, especially when i'm putting ink into the record books
Oh you know it buddy
I'm not sure yet. Maybe I'll bring in another Podarok
I dont think so, he is too small. But maybe he can get some tips from Draymond Green about his "natural shooting motion"

I'm aiming for at least 200.
No one specific, just usually like to beat up people who arent paying attention. Blind side hits are the best
goal? what is this goal you speak of? is that some sort of pre-game thing?
If I dont, it sure wont be for lack of trying
I get 5 sticks and whack them against the stanchion. I pick whichever one holds up the best, it's the most well equipped for me to slash people with
gotta get that protein. The workouts are more important, though

1.) How many hits are you gonna end the season with?
2.) Which player do like kicking the ass of the most?
3.) How weird is it when you score a goal?
4.) Will you lead the league in PIM this season?
5.) What's your favorite pre-game ritual?
6.) What foods would you suggest to someone who wants to be a goon?

I'll probably just try and slash your legs with my stick. My stick doesnt have flex, I like to play old school
Very. How else am I gonna practice hitting stuff?
Not at all! makes it much more fun when I hit them later on
They like me usually. I try not to make their lives too hard
Absolutely. I always kept track of that in the GOMHL

The department of player safety
Nope, thats just stuff that wussies and communists want you to think!
Not really. Lots of focus on silly things like skill, speed, and scoring. Its a sad development
Theyre afraid of asking me to take less
Nice to see its getting a second wind, i know it wasnt in the best position a few season ago

FacePuncher got a reaction from Beaviss in Crazy Trade Sequence for LPLL
Crazy Trade Sequence for LPLL
This last week was a pretty insane one for Luc-Pierre Lespineau-Lebrunette. He was traded not once, but twice in rapid succession from the Quebec City Meute to the Helsinki Titans to the Toronto Legion.
The root of the deal fell under cap issues. Quebec needed cap space now, and Toronto was looking to acquire the services of LPLL. However, Toronto needed to wait until mid season before they could afford him. This is where Helsinki came in. With lots of cap space, they were willing to hold on to LPLL until mid season when his contract would be cheaper for them to pay for. This was the plan, until it was discovered that Toronto actually DID have some extra cap laying around to use on LPLL right away, and such he was traded right away to Toronto and will play the whole season there.
How did the veteran defenseman react to this? "It was all very chaotic for me." LPLL said in an interview, "I usually dont look at my phone much in the offseason. I was actually on vacation for a few days when all this went down, I was in the mountains with no cell reception. When I came back, I had 23 missed calls and who knows how many text messages! It was definitely a shock."
