  1. Content: 3/3 - Yukon have definitely turned the tables from having Bratislava at the top last season to dethroning them. I can see how well you guys mesh well together, so it'll be a shame when some of these guys make their way up to the VHL. Best of luck to you guys. Grammar: 2/2 - Didn't find anything! Appearance: 1/1 - Haha, sparkles. Overall: 6/6 Final: 6/6
  2. Content: 3/3 - I'm pretty sure all VHLers who are WWE fans would've preferred to watch that great show than to take the ice. I definitely don't blame them. Grammar: 1.75/2 - 509 words. For the word count, these knock you down. contemplate, as to why - comtemplate as to why underwear - over - underwear, over General Manageris - General Manager is proved to of been deadly - proved to have been deadly(?) Appearance: .75/1 - The very last paragraph being grey while the rest is blue throws it off for me. Overall: 5.5/6
  3. Content: 3/3 - Another great installment of Across A Nation. Interesting to see that Quebec hasn't really produced many notable VHL/VHLMers. Perhaps after reading this, someone will try to change that! Grammar: 2/2 - Didn't find anything. Great work. Appearance: 1/1 - Professional as always. Overall: 6/6 Final: 6/6
  4. *Googles Littlefinger* "Game of Thrones" Oh fuck off.
  5. Olynick's Time Coming Soon To the surprise of, well, not many people around the league, Evgeni Chekhov, starting goaltender for the Cologne Express, announced his retirement. Everyone knew either Chekhov or Blaine Olynick had to have the key to the starting spot for Cologne. With Olynick already reaching VHL-ready status at the beginning of the season, he is now confirmed as the next young goaltender to take over Cologne. Making himself eligible for the VHLM at the very end of Season 35, Olynick quickly rose above anyone else's expectations for the young goaltender. In a league where all goaltending spots are heavily occupied, some saw this as a road block for Olynick and his progression to the VHL. Olynick himself saw this as just another challenge in the progression of his potentially illustrious career. After a rookie season of great performances night in and night out with the Bern Royals, the hungry goalie was on most expert's radars at the VHL Entry Draft as highly skilled with a lot of potential. After many weeks of lengthy conversations with Express management, Olynick saw himself fit into Cologne's organization like a glove. With just one more step to take before he reaches the VHL level, Blaine Olynick has been turning heads this season with his dominance of the European Conference. Through all these positive experiences so far in Olynick's career, what's next, and when? His spot on the roster is his for the taking next season when Chekhov officially retires. Is Olynick truly ready for the skill and speed of the VHL? Despite playing his absolute best in the VHLM currently, there's no doubt that the skill set of most, if not, all current VHLers is exponentially above most players in the world, a young goalie like Olynick may not be able to do well under the pressure. Cologne fans had a first glimpse at Olynick this pre-season when he started some games against other VHL clubs, coming out with some impressive outings. Speaking about pressure, Cologne, despite being in a country that loves their soccer, also has a soft spot for their ice hockey teams. Since its inception, the Cologne faithful have been very passionate and vocal when the team has been performing below its expectations. Young goaltenders in the middle of a media frenzy are always a car crash waiting to happen. What might await Olynick in Cologne. Some might say the Express have enter a rebuild phase, recently trading their stars in Kameron Taylor and Malcom Spud, two players that have been having solid performances despite the team performing poorly. The new locker room leader, David Collier, will have to guide the youngsters coming in next season. With another defenseman in Ron World Peace on the way, there's hope for the future of Cologne when younger guys are getting the push for next season. But will the rookies be able to pull this team out of the deep hole they're in right now? More importantly, will Blaine Olynick survive his first VHL season next year, filling in the very big shoes of Evgeni Chekhov?
  6. I thought it was one of the better WrestleManias ever. It actually felt like a spectacular stage rather than a glorified PPV.
  7. If you didn't send it to me through chat, it doesn't count as shitting on.
  8. Smart business move by WWE to have someone end the streak in what most likely seems to be Taker's last match. Instead of going with the horribly predictable, they went with the unpredictable buzz move to get people who don't even watch WWE to start talking about it. Could've been done in a much better fashion, but that ending was legendary. Great WrestleMania overall. I'm waiting for Devise to shit on it.
  9. Yeah, if it was a party full of friends I'd be completely okay. What I went to last night was full of strangers that I either don't care for or have never met before. It was terrible. The hostess was a girl I've actually been crushing on for a long time now, so I felt bad for leaving early, but seeing as how I was completely alone there, I had no other choice.
  10. Pretty drunk and. I realized I hate big group parties. I can't talk to anyone and I get stressed out. Fuck man
  11. Hate to break it to ya, but Salo was already taken in the VHL Entry Draft. 7th overall.
  12. Content: 3/3 - Spud has definitely aged like fine wine, and not like milk. I would love to have you in front of me, saving my ass when I start playing games for the Express! Grammar: 1.25/2 - The length of the media spot really could attest for the amount of errors found here, but it's still a considerable number. Appearance: 1/1 - Very nice. Overall: 5.25/6 Final: 5/6
  13. Content: 3/3 - Agreed with slobo, the interview was actually pretty great but the abrupt ending was killer. I mean, I don't think calls for any major deductions but it did leave some dead air in the reader's head. Good job nonetheless. Grammar: 2/2 - Found one more error. Nice work! missed playoffs - missed the playoffs Appearance: .75/1 - Inconsistencies with the pictures and captions. One caption being a different size, one not being aligned with the picture, it's a small thing but something vital like a picture in an article and seeing that, it looks off. Final: 5.75/6 Overall: 6/6
  14. Content: 3/3 - This will be the first time I'll be around for a World Cup in a very long time, so it's exciting to see some hype building up to it! I certainly enjoyed reading this and using it as a guide to the US team. Looks to be very strong. Grammar: 2/2 - Pretty clear here! Appearance: 1/1 - Loved it. Overall: 6/6 Final: 6/6
  15. You'll scrub something alright.
  16. How many pages did S37 get to? 16? 17?
  17. I was in Philly the same night the Phillies won the World Series. What a scary sight, seeing a sea of red running through the streets.
  18. Game 264: Watchmen Game 265: Storm Game 266: Royals Game 267: Rush
  19. I thought this could be a cool idea. At the end of every season, the graders or B.O.G choose 3-5 media spots/graphics that they enjoyed and at the end, they will vote among themselves and the winner gets TPE. I think these could up the ante on the content/aesthetics of media spot/graphics, having writers and graphic makers think outside the box in order to catch the graders' attention. What do you think? Let me know.
  20. Yeah, this was spur of the moment. I think I may have gotten you and Advantage mixed up tho, about the Daniel Bryan thing.
