  5. @fruitcake If you've been posting in the welfare threads for the past weeks, you can link to the posts in your player update thread and distribute the TPE as you like!
  6. oof. Cmon americans, we're better than this.
  7. Don't let the anomaly of Adam Warlock distract from the fact that you're killing it. Goose @fruitcake too recently.
  8. Getting rid of opportunities for TPE and user activity, I think is a mistake. With the recent implication of being able to claim TPE for a month off of one MS has already slowed down activity. I know this is only a once in a while kind of thing, but I think any reason for user activity is a good one.
  9. @fruitcake Goose with the hatty!
  10. @philthethrill81 Hell of a game
  11. DAB SO HARD MOTHER FUCKERS GONNA FINE ME but loss =(
  12. I REALLY wanted to capture the essence of a between periods interview.
  13. I get there have been personality issues with Duclair..... but this seems like such a bad trade for arizona. And I love me some Panik. Its not even like they shed cap. This is the kind of move you make when you'e there. not when youre in last place.
  14. PBP: At the end of one period the score is the New York Americans, leading HC Dynamo by the score of 1-0. Joining us between periods is the man with the lone assist on the only goal of the game, Americans Rookie Defenseman Colton Rayne. Colton, thanks for joining us. What did you see on that play that lead to McKnight burying the puck behind Brodeur? CR: Thanks! Yea, you know, we were already deep in the zone, you know, and Quacker took a shot, you know, and Fujer recovered the rebound along the boards, you know, then one of their guys took out Fujer, you know, and the puck snuck up the boards to me, you know, I saw Knighty open on the far side, you know, I just tried to get it in his wheel house, you know, and he buried it. PBP: Well you guys are off to a stellar start this game, but there have been rumblings of players not producing up and down the line up, what do you have to say about that? CR: Well you know, we're still a very young team, you know, most of our roster has just entered the league within the last 2-3 years, you know, maybe we need to bounce our lines around or something, but I'm not worried yet. This team has a lot of talent that hasn't hit it's stride yet, you know, and I'm not worried. This team will be eating up the competition before you know it, you know. PBP: thanks for the time Colton. Good luck in the rest of the game. CR: Yep
  15. Here ye, here ye. Come hear the good news which is a break down of the TPE each team in the VHLM has. Being the stocking league for the VHL, it's always good to see which teams are improving, and how TPE effects league structure. Week 1: Team Total TPE (Increased TPE) Average TPE per player League Position Top TPE Earner 1. Ottawa Lynx 1067 (0) 88.91 (12 players) 1 RW - Lavar Ball, TPE: 165 (QUE) 2. Oslo Storm 948 (0) 63.2 (15 players) 5 LW - Ivan Morozov, TPE: 199 (24 Banked)(CGY) 3. Yukon Rush 765 (0) 47.81 (16 players) 2 C - The Charm, TPE: 84 & D - Luc-Pierre Lespineau-Lebrunette, TPE: 84 4. Saskatoon Wild 734 (0) 73.4 (10 players) 4 D - Dragon McDragon, TPE: 168 (DAV) 5. Las Vegas Aces 692 (0) 40.71 (17 players) 3 G - Marcel St-Laurent, TPE: 135 (QUE) League Total TPE 4206 (+0) 60.09 (70 players) Week 2: Team Total TPE (Increased TPE) Average TPE per player League Position Top TPE Earner 1. Ottawa Lynx 984 (-83) 89.45 (11 players) 1 RW - David Kiaskov, TPE: 178 (QUE) 2. Oslo Storm 948 (0) 63.2 (15 players) 3 LW - Ivan Morozov, TPE: 199 (24 Banked)(CGY) 3. Yukon Rush 922 (+188) 51.22 (18 players) 4 D - Ho Lee Fook, TPE: 113 (CGY) 4. Saskatoon Wild 734 (0) 73.4 (10 players) 5 D - Dragon McDragon, TPE: 168 (DAV) 5. Las Vegas Aces 692 (0) 40.71 (17 players) 2 G - Marcel St-Laurent, TPE: 135 (QUE) League Total TPE 4280 (+74) 60.28 (71 players) So we have some changes and some failings for the rosters to be updated. Ottawa has had a roster update, and even with signing 2 free agents, still drop a roster spot. It hasn't hurt their standings as of late. They still hold the #1 spot in TPE, Average TPE, and in the league standings. Having now done this for 3 seasons, one of the observations I have made is that the teams which preform well in the regular season and beyond always have a high average TPE, making an argument for the quality, not quantity way of building a team. Even if a team has a high total TPE, higher average TPE teams tend to out preform. Ottawa has a new Top TPE earner in David Kiaskov @Exlaxchronicles. Look for this team to make a serious play off push, and possible break the @Beaviss curse this year! Oslo I don't believe has been updated since my last write up. They have, however, turned their season around in a serious way. As of the first few games, the Storm were in dead last, and things were looking dreary. Since then, the Storm have powered up the standings and having played the most games of any team in the VHLM this year, sit one point behind the 2nd place Aces. Look for this team to make some moves as the rosters are updated. The Yukon Rush have had a roster update. But after a loaded draft, the Rush were hoping for a little better results. They are in 3rd place as far as TPE is concerned, but they have dropped from 2nd to 4th in league standings This team has lots of young talent and could turn it around come playoff time, but after so many draft picks, it's hard to not be worried with the production shown so far. The Saskatoon Wild's roster has not been updated, and their team has bottomed out. They have the smallest roster in the league, and I know their TPE leader is actually playing in the VHL which is skewing their TPE stats a bit. But 0 wins 16 games in is hard to see anytime. They have the fewest games played, so they have, perhaps, the most time to make up ground. But this season is not looking good for the wildmen. The Las Vegas Ace's roster has not been updated either, but they continue to be a bit of an anomaly. Last in Total TPE, Last in average TPE, and 2nd place in the league. Strong goaltending is most likely the answer here, and as updated get rolled out I would not be surprised to see this team make moves on Ottawa in a bid for 1st place this season. As the rosters get updated more, I'm sure we'll see a bit more movement as far as TPE is concerned, but for now, we buckle up and battle through the middle of the season. As always, thanks for reading. Best, Spade
  16. scoring in bunches? lol we weirdly played them every game this sim and went 2-3. As Lawson and Goose get better we'll tip the scale. with the amount of shots we put up, theres no way we cant.
