  1. we get it, you're better than us. jk great read man. shoutout to @nerji for the skyrocket to top 3. beast!
  2. 1. I was a little surprised, but I trust management and think that this is a move that will benefit us in the long term 2. Yes, its always good to add to the prospect pool. It seems like we got two studs, one forward and one goalie. Im excited! 3. Just gotta put your head down and grind. We realize this is a necessary step if we want to be contenders in a few years so that is the motivation 4. Yes we will win exactly 21 games this year 5. I think just scoring more goals. I havent had the goal scoring output I had hoped for. 6. Enter Sandman!
  3. Hello (and Goodbye) Europe! During the S89 offseason, the Geneva Rush selected forward Zyn Westwood with the 6th overall pick in the VHLE Draft. Westwood, a goal scoring winger from Monaco, had just come off an impressive VHLM debut season winning a Founder’s Cup with the Philadelphia Reapers. Coming in to his first VHLE season, Westwood had high expectations for himself, but acknowledged that it may take some time to realize them: Individually for Westwood, he finished the regular season with a stat line of 28 goals and 42 assists in 72 games played and also added 116 hits and 34 penalty minutes. The 70 points was good enough to land inside the top 30 in the VHL in overall scoring. He played the majority of the season on the first line left wing, but rarely saw the ice on the powerplay which may have led to a lower point production than he anticipated: Next up for Mr. Westwood is the main stage, the VHL. There are early rumors that the New York Americans will call him up to the big leagues for the S90 season. After being selected 5th overall in the S89 entry draft by New York, the expectations will be high in the biggest city in the world. After the VHLE playoffs, Westwood will go right into training mode int he off season to prepare in case the opportunity to play in the VHL next season presents itself.
  4. The first VHLE regular season is in the books for rookie winger Zyn Westwood of the Geneva Rush. All things considered, it was a strong opening campaign for Westwood and his team. On a personal note, he tallied 70 points in 72 games played including 28 goals and 42 assists. For most of the season he played on the first line wing and first unit penalty kill. Producing at nearly a point per game clip while not have any power play minutes is definitely something he should be pleased with. The Rush as a team finished with a strong record of 46-22-4 which was good for second in the VHLE.
  5. 1. A valiant effort from the boys in Miami, but it appears this season fell short of the playoffs. 2. My player had his fist season in the VHLE, 70 points in 72 games and we finished second the the standings for the regular season! 3. Philly is a tough team, I played and won a championship there last season. If you guys did decent against them, then it does prove you can compete w the best 4. Looks like it was a good regular season. The reapers are a wagon and put up 115 points but overall should be set up for an exciting playoffs. 5. Axle Gunner 6. Favorite NHL team is the NJ Devils, I grew up and live in new jersey so have always been a huge devils fan!
  6. Geneva Check In At almost the 50 game mark of S89, the Geneva Rush find themselves in 3rd place in the VHL. After a scorching hot start to the season, the team has calmed down a bit as of late but is still positioned for a playoff push. The Rush are being led by S87 draft pick Ellis Woolfenden who has 26 goals, 44 assists and 70 points in 49 games played. This is good for the third highest point total in the VHLE. Right winger Kobe Johnson leads the team in goals with 28 and defenseman Nagy AL is contributing offensively with 51 points and defensively with a team-leading 116 shots blocked. Between the pipes, veteran goaltender Travis Clarke has posted a 20-11-3 record and a 92.6% save percentage to provide the team with a steady presence on the back end. The team has 22 games remaining in the regular season and has a comfortable 10 point cushion in the standings ahead of the 6th place team. Let’s see how the team performs down the stretch
  7. Jumping in as a former payer in need of a presser 1. As a devils fan, I'm happy. We re-signed our two big RFAs to long term deals and traded for Toffoli. We're looking locked and loaded for next year 2. You should bring that back (not really sure what that was though :)) 3. San Diego appears to be the biggest threat to Philly in the VHLM, but always have to keep your eye on the Hounds. 4. I would advise you to pull as many emojis of your cat as humanly possible 5. At 37-6-3, I'm not sure there is much else you need to add. Save the assets for future and try to roll with the current squad. 6. That would be fun, not really needed but fun to bring back a franchise legend
  8. 1. Definitely consider myself a north/south player. Use my speed and physicality to get pucks in deep and create offense 2. Probably Michkov to the Flyers if he comes over in a few years. Top 2 talent there 3. NJ Devils are my team. Born, raised and live in New Jersey. Good time to be a Devils fan (finally) 4. Not really, keep doing what you are doing. Team is doing well, we are going to make some noise in the playoffs 5. For a full pie, I am a simple plain kind of guy. If I were to do two slices, I would do a plain and a buffalo chicken 6. Dank Turtle has some dank dangles
  9. Circling back to my missed pick: Cole Pearce - G
  10. ZYN WESTWOOD ADJUSTING TO VHLE 6/25/2023 After a very busy and exciting offseason, VHLE rookie winger Zyn Westwood is beginning to find his groove at the advanced level of competition of the VHLE. The 6th overall pick in the VHLE Draft and his Geneva Rush find themselves atop the standings with 18 games played in the season with an impressive 14-3-1 record. Westwood is producing over a point per game with 9 goals and 14 assists for 23 points in those 18 games. Three of those goals were game winners which is tied for the most in the VHLE. He also has contributed 112 shots on goal and 32 hits. Overall, it has been a great start to his first year in this league and one that he hopes to continue to build on.

  12. 1. Huge addition to the team, we're pumped to have him. Definitely didnt expect him to be dealt so quickly 2. I like the reapers logo, always liked the Halloween style stuff and it is my ex team 3. I always have to put my left skate on first otherwise I am thrown off mentally. 4. Bar down is the most satisfying way of scoring in my opinion. 5. I think probably me, sometimes my equipment smells really bad and I'm sure that lingers on me ha 6. Championship caliber team, so I expect us to be at the top of the standings all year and push for a title.
