Well it isn't often that a full quarter of the league get new GMs but here we go. As you all likely saw Here we were hiring for Malmo and LA GM openings. Also anyone not living under the rock knows that @Nykonax has been interim GM of Vancouver for a season now. In addition to that, a bit of a miscommunication meant that we didn’t put up a posting for Prague when the others went up. We did, however, consider all the same applicants for Prague as well. So, thank you to all the GMs that are stepping down for the effort and dedication they gave to this league. @diamond_ace , @hylands, and @fonziGG have all done terrific jobs and deserve tons of love from all of us. and also Josh (Note from Bek) So, onto the replacements then! Congratulations to each of you and we wish you all luck in this upcoming season, also congrats to Nyko I guess for keeping the job he’s been doing so far!

I'm curious what strategies people employ in real life scenarios as I use the same method in Discord and at work. Unless otherwise told (or I see a role selected / email signature) I will refer to someone using they/them pronouns. ArrowChat was basically impossible to moderate because it wasn't integrated with the forum moderation. Like Bek said it also didn't make a ton of sense from a technical perspective to be paying for the software and additional hardware capability that was required. It's over $100 a year and Discord serves the same purpose and is free.

Not all of the mods identify as male.

Technically we wouldn't have to limit it to one channel, easy enough to hide sections.

It'll be on you to make sure your rosters look correct. I have not "started the season" on the sim so that I have time to validate the schedule that was generated will work for us. Best of luck to you and thanks for your patience as we work to get this league fully up and running. I will update this post with the stream information before the first sim and will set up the alerts on discord as well.
