1. Which VHL goalie posted the lowest GAA in a single season? (Credit and 1 uncapped TPE to @Jtv123 ) A record that was broken multiple times in the goaltending golden age from S49 to S55, first by Greg Clegane (1.57) in S49, then by himself, brother Sandro, but also Ariel Weinstein (1.35) in S51. Greg Clegane would hang on to the career record with a 1.80 mark - hence the award named after him - but Rhett DeGrath would take the single-season record up (or down) a notch with 1.33 in S55 and 1.25 in S54. Except, this still wasn't enough, his rival in Helsinki, Astrid Moon, snuck in front with a scarcely believable 1.24 mark in S54, a record which stands to this day and probably will forever. Plus these days we have another blue team member in Josh who has never (yet?) been commish but is certainly a member of the blue team. As such, ten is indeed the right answer. 1. Seeing as it's S74.... of the 74 players with the most career hits in the regular season, how many are in the Hall of Fame? As the career stats show, being a hard hitter is far from a guarantee of a HOF spot, as you need the offence to go along with it. 74th place, Pavel Komarov, still has over 1,500 career hits - i.e. nearly 200 per season over an 8-season career and Komarov only played 7, but isn't in the HOF - only 26 of the guys above him are, although the top 3 - the devastating trio of Parechkin, Smalling, and Axelsson - did make it. https://vhlforum.com/topic/347-vhl-career-stats-updated-for-s73/ 2. The Prague Phantoms have won 2 playoff games in their existence so far. Is that the least amount of playoff wins in the first 7 seasons of an expansion franchise (S73 expansion teams are excluded)? I was so close to making this much worse but I don't think there's an easy way to prove that Hamilton only won 2 playoff games in their first 7 seasons, the same as Prague, before their move to New York. Well, actually Christian Stolzschweiger's HOF article shows he only played 6 playoff games in S4, which was Hamilton's only season in the playoffs (yeah, overall even worse than Prague), but I wouldn't expect anyone to figure that out. TRUE/FALSE: Scotty Campbell is the only player in VHL history to register eight 50+ goal seasons (inspiration and 1 uncapped TPE to Frozen Block who doesn't have an account anymore?) It is TRUE. To have 8 50-goal seasons, you would need at least 400 goals, which has only been achieved by 7 players - Campbell on 600 and the rest slotting in between 400 and 450 goals. All of these players are Hall of Famers so by going to their HOF article you would have found that somewhere along the line they all, except the GOAT, slipped below the 50-goal mark.
