The Ottawa Lynx are taking down some of the top teams in the VHLM. Their two most recent games saw them convincingly beat first place Philadephia 5-2 and shut-out Minnesota, which put Ottawa into second place. Lynx captain Thorny Underyew scored a hat trick against Philadelphia and added two helpers against Minnesota. While Thorny was absolutely expected to contribute to his team this season, many are surprised at how quickly the young leader has adapted to the North American game. Having veterans Zeno Miniti and Anthony Hawk provide a bulk of the offence certainly helps. The Lynx are making a push for the cup. They drafted strongly and maintained a strong veteran core, while recruiting two strong rookie goaltenders. The entire minor league is watching them, and surely many are rooting for them to take down the heavily favoured Reapers come playoff time. It will be exciting to see how the standings settle in the remaining two thirds of the season.

1. Do you have any long term VHL goals, HOF, championship, well known player? Thorny will be my best player yet, for starters. Already off to a much better start than I've ever been. After that, I'd like to win a VHL award, then lead a team to a cup. 2. How did you come up with your name? It's my D&D character's name! 3. Why do you play your position? I've never made a centre before, always done wingers and D. Thought it was about time. Also this draft class didn't have many centres at the time I created. 4. We recently defeated Minnesota, their only regulation loss, how do you feel about this? Amazing. Big team effort and feels good to have our work pay off like that. 5. We currently have 2 players in the top 10 for scoring, do you think this will change during the rest of the season? Thorny's coming! 6. Has anybody stood out to you so far, if so who? Miniti and Hawk have just been ruthless. Can't wait to see their end of season totals! And I'm sure they'll lead us through the playoffs too.

Review: Nice attention to detail with the 3 jersey changes. It would be nice to see some more elements brought in, maybe some text and some stocks and effects to focus on the render more. Keep at it.

Review: Nice effects on this one, has an old school feel. The text does look a little low quality, at least the blue text. Not sure if that's something that happened in the upload or what. I would suggest to try making some smaller pieces. I usually start with 400 x 200. Keep at it though!

Review: This is cool! I like the effects and the jersey change is really slick. Text is simple, but works here. One thing is that the quality of the source image looks a little low/stretched. Maybe try looking for some higher quality pictures to start with.

Review: Love seeing experimentation! This has a nice colour scheme and I like the stock work. I'd work on trying to keep experimenting while keeping some clarity in the render. Nice work overall.
