  1. nobody has bumped this in 7 months wow....optimal time to create for the next class, more varied sim engine than the one used here. We're all bored af, why not give SHL a shot?
  2. 1. No need to fear, Empty is here. Now with me on the team we can go all the way. 2. It was a sign that you didn't have Empty on your roster. I am here now and ready to tear it up. 4. I'd put Empty directly on the top line centre position. Easily the best on the team. 5. I don't think we need anyone else right now, seeing that we just signed Empty. Empty is the future of hockey as we know it. 7. I'm sorry, Doritos have flavors? Since when? This is news to me. 8. Call-er-a-do
  3. I’m just trolling I’ll sign I accept

  5. NHL season is suspended for who knows how long, why not be in a ton of sim hockey leagues?
  6. Yeah it was, playoffs start this coming weekend afaik
  7. The trade deadline is today, it's considered the ideal time to create for max TPE. We are moving to FHM6 for next season! It will be nice to have a league that's not on STHS.
  8. Not a real life year! At the end of the current season we are moving to FHM so like end of February/March if you join this season you can burn a year of juniors and get TPE before the move
  9. Reddit draft ongoing, league is moving away from STHS after this year. If you hate this sim engine or want a new league come check it out
  10. Pat Svoboda is now nearing the end of his career, and seemed a little saddened by the prospect. "I had so much fire when I first joined the league, and like how all candles eventually melt, I am now nearing the end of my days. I know my days in the league are numbered, though I intend to fight my aging a bit. When you're young, you feel invincible, like you'll never die. But then time goes on as surely as it always does, the hits start to hit a bit more, the skating seems to get a bit more burdened. It's like your body has quit on your dream even when your mind hasn't. But Riga still needs me and for now I'm sticking around. I want to close out my career with some of my best seasons, to go out knowing that I was one of the best and I did achieve the level of play that I always wanted to. I'm excited for what is to come next and ready to get this show on the road. If Riga can win just one Cup, that will be all I ever wanted and more. This could be our year," said Pat Svoboda.
  11. psst....if you join within the next 72 hours and mark me as your recruiter I'll make you a gif sig and help you get an easy $1 million+ through an interview article
  12. Pat Svoboda's S68 Season Pat Svoboda, after struggling to reclaim the heights he achieved in his sophomore season in the league, soared to that level and beyond with a career-best 73 points. By comparison, he got 71 points back in S65 with Davos. The move to Riga seemed to be beneficial for the Swedish right winger, as he scored above the point-per-game mark for the first time and reached 30 goals for the second time in his career. He had always struggled in the plus-minus department, which while no longer regarded as a very telling statistic, can still be indicative of defensive performance and a player's impact on his team's performance on the ice. His best ever before this year was being +1 in S66, and every other previous season of his career was -2; not exactly the most compelling numbers. But this year, he was an astounding +24, a massive improvement on anything he had done in the best. All in all, this was Svoboda's best year ever in almost every regard. "I really just went back to basics and was able to find solid chemistry with my linemates. After a long time in the league, I've finally found my stride in my final seasons. Everyone has said I should be in my prime at this point of my career and now I'm finally feeling it. I will have a few more seasons to build on this, and hopefully I can close out my career with a roar rather than a whimper. I would like to hit either 80 points or 40 goals, maybe both, before this all is said and done. Perhaps that could happen next year, and maybe I can get a title before I am forced to retire by the league regulations. I would like a cup, it's always been a dream of mine to win a championship. Riga will be going for broke this year, and I know we have the heart, the strength, and the stamina to pull through and triumph against all opposition and adversity. I believe that we are as good as any other team in the league, and now it's just up to us to prove it," said Pat Svoboda. Svoboda may not be playing for much longer in the VHL, as he is about to start regressing due to his advanced age. But he seems no worse for wear; he has aged like a fine wine, only getting better with time. He should keep his gig on Riga's top line going into the next season, and will again look to shatter his career bests. He has lacked consistency in his career, but will be looking to finally prove once and for all that he is legitimate and can get results. As long as Svoboda continues to play smart hockey, there is no reason why he would take a step backwards next year, and Riga fans are excited to see what the future holds for the Swede after this breakout campaign.
