Some notes from last game and a cool new stat update:
 
MEDIUM CHANGES:
Dead chat, moving forward, will only be usable during Night phases. This is to reflect the real game's mechanics more accurately and to prevent multiple exchanges of info between dead chat and the game thread during the same Day phase. I hope this will also cut down on some metagaming. Speaking of which, I'm going to start disallowing non-game-related modes of confirming a Medium. Any game-related info is 100% OK to use, but personal info (i.e. "Eagles knows what my middle name is; if you can tell me my middle name from Eagles in dead chat I'll believe you're Medium") is not--it is simply beyond the spirit of the game and outside the role's intent. I am not sure yet what I'll do to enforce this, but please just make that part easy on me by not participating in that.  
GENERAL CHANGES:
This was also Medium-related in the last game, but it applies to any role. Please don't directly copy-paste Discord messages. If you'd like to copy the words of a message...I don't like it, but I don't really care. This crosses the line, though, if the copy-paste contains names and time stamps (and this is especially so if everything is still in Discord rich text formatting). At the very least, I will delete your post for this (even if you're taking the time to fake it), and I reserve the right to modkill over this if it's game-swaying enough.  
On the cooler side, I updated the role sheet! It now has a cool overview tab at the start that will make asking (and answering) some trivia questions a lot more convenient--and is also just cool to look at in my opinion. Did you know that Jailors have recorded over double the number of kills to any other Town Killing role, but have a lower winning percentage than two of the other three? I didn't before today. Also, if you're assigned a Mafia role, your chance of winning is slightly higher than with a Coven role (so far). Plus, Guardian Angel is the only role that's still active that has never lost. The more you know!

Gustav has a good time talking to some very uncommitted people who have probably not changed their minds one bit. Inspiring the next generation of Gustavs is somewhat difficult.
 
But, in other news, Salem has gathered today to take care of @Adrest245. Votes were needed, votes were received, and the chair is kicked out from under yet another resident.

One VAMPIRE after another has made Salem's life difficult. @Berocka has smelled like garlic since his first gig as VAMPIRE HUNTER back in S71, and it's finally paid off. None are left.
 
That also means that no one is left who opposes Town--its PIRATE, @jacobaa19, rides off with a VHL-record 4 kills. Only three townies remain, but that's enough.

 To address some things mentioned earlier--I'll have things related to the MEDIUM role added to the official rule set soon. Those being the following:
Players may not use things known personally between them and someone in dead chat to confirm a Medium claim. I am not picking on Doom for having tried this in this thread, because it's been done many times before--but in the spirit of the game, confirming a Medium should be done with info that is strictly related to the game. I hope I can trust you guys not to do that moving forward and to not participate in it if it's brought up. This applies to any role--please don't directly copy-paste messages from Discord. I don't really care if you copy the text of an individual message, but copy-pasting names and time stamps along with it, especially if they're formatted, is too far. Dead chat has been changed in this game to reflect the actual role's mechanics (can talk only at night). It was my fault that I didn't specify this.  
In any case, thank you for playing this game as always, with an added thank you for putting up with some confusion caused by the Medium business and me being gone late last night.

Well that’s a good night.  I was going to shoot Trifecta just in case he didn’t get jailed.  So ultimately I didn’t take my shot since if jailed, it doesn’t use it.  Just didn’t want to risk it on anyone else. Well done @rory

Why? I had started to lose interest before STZ became GM. He renewed my interest when he got hired, I was excited and starting to earn again. Then I found out I got traded and I went back to how things were before he became GM.

I guess I can expand on my choice for charity. Every parent’s worst nightmare is their kid getting sick in any way. The 2 children’s hospitals in Edmonton and Calgary are world class, wife and I even chose the hospital to have our kid at to be right next to the children’s hospital in Calgary. Hope to never need to go in there, but am very glad to donate to them every year just in case.

The Spirit Bear award is chosen each off-season by the GM of the Bears. There could be a lot of reasons why a member might be chosen and each season an explanation will/might be given. It's a thank you. It's an appreciation of what you've done for Seattle or maybe through that the VHL. You're deserving! Maybe you've overcome something crazy in life or have kicked it up an extra notch in the VHL TPE earning department. It's a good award for good things that are good. So, what's the catch?
 
The winner picks a charity of their choosing (I'd like to know why IF you're comfortable with sharing) and I will donate $10! I know it isn't much, but it's something.. and I mean, think of if I would have started this in Season 49.
 
Rex Wolffe Gregor, who goes under the username @oilmandan, has been a Bear more times that I can remember. It all started back with Dan Willinsky and seems to be back with every single player. Before we dive any deeper, sorry about that, Dan, lol. When we traded for him all those seasons ago, he immediately made a huge impact on the team, locker room and behind the scenes. He was a tad more involved when it came to the daily locker room and helping out with the council, but from S69 and onward, his role with the team has never changed. He's collected cups with the team, tons of amazing seasons and has helped me out so much. I have a group of people on here who are the most important. I'm not saying others aren't important but there's just a group I hold dear. They're loyal. They're honest. They're amazing people who don't judge, are kind and just accept everyone for who they are. We've enjoyed hours and hours of talks and keep in touch on what's going on in life - even if we haven't been connected to teams in seasons or even sometimes - YEARS! Dan fits into this group. One of my favourite people on this league and one of the members I trust the most with all of my and Seattle's secrets. Amazing member and an even better person who I'm fortunate enough to have met and continue a VHL relationship with to this day!
 
OMD, OMD, OMD! Thank you for all you've done for Seattle. I know you always chat and mention "this could be the last player" and all that shit, but I truly hope you keep coming back dude to whatever extent is comfortable for you. Age has no limits on these leagues no more. We've all grown with them. It's fantasy hockey and the league and my experience are certainly better with you part of it. CHEERS DUDE! With that being said, I asked,  "What's a charity fund/organization that you would donate to if you could right now? and why?" and Danny boy said "I'm always a fan of the stollery or the Alberta cancer foundation. I give to both every year. If I had to pick one right now I'd go stollery.

Can any mods actually listen to Spartan? Why does dil have power to harass rutuu and get away with it? When I GM’d the VHLM the mods always told us to let them know about inappropriate player names to get rid of… here’s one!
