A Bounce Back Nethila has been out for almost a whole season with some personal stuff he had to deal with. But now Nethila says he is ready to continue his VHL career here is what he had to say to the reporter. Reporter: So, you have been out for almost a whole season do you think you have what it takes to come back as your old self again? Nethila: Yes, I do I am going to be even better than I was 1 or 2 seasons ago! Reporter: Do you think you will ever take a break from the VHL again? Nethila: Unless I am going to retire (Which won't be for a long time) I am probably not going to take a break again. Reporter: Since you always make goals for yourself what will your goals for the upcoming season? Nethila: I am trying to be more offensive now so my goals are to have at least 50 points like what I had in season 68 with the New York Americans. Reporter: What are you most looking forward to when coming back to the VHL? Nethila: Just coming back to see my old teammates and getting back on the ice. Reporter: “Some people say that you will never be as good as when you were with the New York Americans what do you have to say to those people?” Nethila: “I have nothing to say to them I just have to keep on practicing and prove them wrong.” Reporter: “There has been some trade rumors involving do you have anything to say about this?” Nethila: “No, I will play anywhere I just want to play hockey” said the 24 year old Reporter: We saw you practicing and teaching the Sri Lanka National hockey team do you think you would have a future as a coach in the VHL? Nethila: To be honest I don’t know I love teaching players but I don’t know if I would be a good full-time coach Reporter: Lastly, we also saw you give back to the people of Sri Lanka on Christmas and it warms all of our hearts do you have anything to say? Nethila: Christmas is about giving to others it also warms my heart seeing how happy they are And I hope they are living a long happy life. Reporter: Thank you for your time Nethila. I am very impressed doing even better then I thought 4. We have played a handful of games so far, do you think we're performing over or under expectations? Idk we are doing as expected 6.
