    HI. I kinda exist? maybe?

    1. Who would you say is the biggest surprise in the VHL this year? (Player or Team)

    2.  Whats your favorite post game meal?

    3. As the season is in it's final leg. What do you think makes this Moscow team so special?

    4. Toronto is the favorite as they have been the most dominant force in the VHL this season. Do you think they're within reach or will it be up to next year's Menace team to compete?

    5. What's the biggest hot take you've heard this season?

    6. Do you think the standings are set or will we see movement between the top 6 this season?

Holy shit man. That is horrible. When my Grandpa died I didn't know what to do with myself. We knew it was going to happen soon, but it still caught me off guard. It was horrible. All the memories you have of the person start rushing back and it makes it even worse. You remember the last thing you ever did or said to them. You feel empty despite all the people comforting you. It is something I wouldn't wish upon my worst enemy. I know how you feel. It isn't easy but you will get through it eventually. I hope everything ends up ok @FacebookFighter

Good to see you around @FacebookFighter, as I said/implied earlier, take all the time you need.

My grandma died earlier this year and I hadn't even seen her in over 2 years so I'm glad you can still make the most of the time you have.

    @FacebookFighter

Back in 2011 my dad died and it surprised me just how much it helped talking to a few people on here about it. Jardy, Phil, a few others because of exactly what you said - it's people who didn't actually know me so I felt a bit more free to open up about things, and it made things a little easier, although of course it could never fully be easy. What you're going through is hard, and it will continue to be hard, and it never fully goes away - but even though I've never really talked to you on here, I'd be glad to do so now if you need anything, basically paying forward the help I was given when I needed it.

It's been a wonderful season for the Moscow Menace as they push for the cup in only their third year of existence. While the team has been surging, one of the men who has hid in the shadows has been their back up goaltender. May was excused from team practices two weeks ago. May has been not seen and has missed a few games as late. An emergency call up has been sitting on the bench. There's been a hush over the Moscow locker room as everyone seems uncomfortable to share any information. May returned to practice and it appeared that he was in a somber mood. The atmosphere was thick surrounding the young goaltender. A beat reporter following the team was also puzzled by the atmosphere.

"It was strange. The problem was definitely surrounding May. When he wasn't in the locker room there was an air of easy goingness. And there definitely was some uneasiness towards May. It wan't as if May was causing the bad vibes but his teammates were definitely guarded towards approaching him. May who on the ice is usually chirping at teammates and making sure to joke around at all times has been almost emotionally nonexistent."

May finally sat down with reporters this week. He was immediately flooded with questions about his absences and overall mood swings. At first May seemed very reluctant to answer. Often shrugging off questions and becoming increasingly annoyed. At points it looked like May was ready to burst into tears and eventually he hit a boiling point.

" I just feel like you've been left out of the loop for a long time and won't stop hounding me until I give you the answers. A family member of mine has been basically been given borrowed time. There are somethings that are more important than hockey. She's been an integral part of my life and the fact that she has little time left on this earth has left me heart broken. That's why you haven't seen me on the ice as frequently. It's something I couldn't keep inside and sorry you have to hear it. It's been a really troubling time and I've needed the support of my family and teammates. What you see and what happens beyond the scenes is absolutely night and day."

Humanity is frail. I might be writing this now wishing I had more time. I know this is a really stupid place to put my thoughts but it's the only platform no one knows me. I needed to type this out. I want to be able to come back to this article and smile a little. I don't need sympathy or pity but just someone to validate what I feel. Losing someone hurts more than I can possibly describe. You never know who you're going to lose in a blink of an eye. Hold your loved ones close tonight. You may be too young to understand or thing such things are trivial. There are somethings in this world I wish would never leave, family is one of them.

    4. The Menace want to make a new motto for their playoff race. Incompetent Front Office members have asked the players to make one for them

    5. What will be your drink of choice if Moscow clinches a playoff spot?

    1. Did you pay attention to the Vancouver vs Helsinki series in the VHL Finals? Did it go the way you expected?
Not as much as I wanted but it definitely ended the way I thought it would.

    2. What is the biggest off-season move in the VHL thus far? Trade/Signing/Draftee?
I think the move to get Cast was the biggest move, it really gives Moscow a significant Boost

    3. What are your thoughts on the S67 VHL Entry Draft? Do you know any of the members who were drafted to any of the teams?
I haven't been able to follow the VHLM and have been off the grid for the offseason.

    4. Moscow has made some serious roster changes this off-season. Do you think this makes the Menace a serious cup threat?
I believe we are a cup threat. We have the offense to be number one in the league.

    5. Which addition to the Menace lineup are you most excited about? Podrick Cast, Randoms, Vlad Pavlov or Roger Sterling? Why?
Definitely Cast. He's definitely the strongest guy coming our way. Hopefully he gives us an edge over our competition.

    6. S66 Moscow draftees Clarke, Vigneault, Gabella, and Tocco will be joining the roster in S67. What advice do you have for the rookies?
Don't pay attention to the stats. Just keep working to get better

FacebookFighter reacted to Quik in VHL Brands
After much deliberation, the league has decided that, effective immediately, VHL Brands and the Sponsor's Shield will be terminated. While it was a highly anticipated addition to the league, we feel that the over saturation of tournaments, in addition to rapid league expansion, ultimately lead to a lack of interest. At this time, there is no plan to replace, or re-invent, VHL Brands.

    Thank you,

    5. For those who have just been reading the box score, Moscow has taken a lot of penalties this season. What are some penalties you've seen the team taking and what do you like to do in the penalty box?

Earlier last week the Moscow Menace announced a new AGM. The struggling club has continued to flounder none the less but there have been signs of life. Under new AGM Illya Kkhrushchev Moscow has been winning more and more games. Comments from his official introduction are posted below.

" I'm glad to be a part of the Russian representation here in the VHL. We are a young team that has plenty of promise. Next year I think we'll be a team that can compete for a play off spot. We have one of the best offenses but one of the shakiest defensive cores. We need to address this come the off season and we'll be in place to be in the conversation. I hope to be here for awhile and make something special"

Kkrushchev proceeded to walk away while picking up, what appeared to be a shot ski, where he drank from taking at minimum 7 shots as he walked through the press rooms doors. It appears that Moscow is in safe hands.

Not all miracles win championships. Not all miracles are fantastic goals or highway robbery saves. Sometimes miracles are an unexpected result for someone struggling to make their way in the league. Welcome, Owen May. The young goaltender has been a part of one of the worst defenses in the league. May has not appeared on any of the top ten's in any statistical catergory until today. May recorded his first career shut out versus the Vancouver Wolves. We talked with May as he relived that moment.

" I really couldn't believe it. I've been struggling and struggling for so long. To be honest, I wasn't even paying attention to the scoreboard. The boys were playing well, I was making a save, here and there. They put four in the net in the first period and had their goalie out of the game. I was just kinda sitting there, in some sort  of anxious state. My breathing was slow and I was sweating a little. Thinking back, I think I reached "the zone". I just felt great. At the end of the first, I go into the locker room and it wasn't like we had won. We've scored a lot of goals and still lost. In fact we've lost quite a few games we've scored four goals and still wound up losing the game. Coach gave a pep talk and we were back on the ice. Again the boys played extremely well and limited the key opportunities and second chances. We end up putting two in and we finally felt like "hey, we got this game under our belt.". Next thing I know we're back on the ice for the third and while the fans didn't get to see much action I was really thankful. Once my teammates came over and started to congratulate me, I realized what had happened. I feel like I may have turned a corner on this season."

May seemed thankful on the ice after the game. He hugged teammates and came out to a roaring crowd as the third star of the game. After the post celebratory round up with their coach May met with media and fans. He spent what seemed to be hours signing autographs and answering all questions the media had of him before leaving once arena security asked for everyone to clear out.

" I think I was being a little selfish. We've been very sparce when it comes to wins and there's quite a few times when we don't get to celebrate because we're so worried about standings and how the next game is going to pan out. I just wanted to enjoy my moment with the fans. This was a special night for me and I love being a part of the whole experience. The kids want to be you and want to believe you're superhuman. It tugs at the heart and I just can't turn down a young fan who thinks that a bunch of lines drawn from my hand are valuable. Then of course I always want to talk to the media because they can convey some big messages to a bunch of people. If there's a fan base that needs some encouragement that we're trying our hardest and we play night in and night out for them, it's Moscow and the country of Russia."
