  1. 1. How do you feel about us so far? I think we're doing well, and the team is starting to mesh well together. 3. How has your own player been doing? Really lackluster, hopefully the sim will start to favor him again soon. 5. Which player do you think has yet to start producing? My player should be producing more than he is honestly. 6. How is your player build going? Well I tried making a sniper and ended up with a playmaker, oh well. 9. Do you play Among Us? No, don't have a big enough group to really play with. Most of my friends only play games on console. 10. How do you pronounce Colorado? Caula-rAWdo or Caula-rAHdo? Caula-rAWdo. Who are you talking to that pronounces things so strangely?

  3. 1. How do you feel our season will go after our strong draft? I don't want to jinx us but we should be able to make a deep playoff run. 3. If you were drafted, did you go higher or lower than you were expecting? Dil made it clear to me that he was planning to draft me, I wasn't sure what pick he had though, feels pretty good to go 1st overall. 6. What sort of build are you going for with your player? Well the plan was to make a sniper, but with how I'm performing this season so far it looks like I'm more of a playmaker. 8. Where do you predict Halifax will finish in the standings? I think we have a good shot of finishing first. 9. Who's your favorite NHL team? The Yotes go ahead and chirp me for it. 10. How do you pronounce "garage?" Is it Guh-raj or Ga-ridge? Guh-raj does anyone in North America pronounce it differently?

  5. 1. With the exit of many of our star players, how do you think we will perform next season? I'm one of the players leaving the team but hopefully you guys can still succeed, and who knows, with the VHLM draft coming up I may rejoin the team. 2. How have you been enjoying the off-season? Did you return home or go on vacation? I returned home, playing this season in the vhlm was my first time being that far from home and I was definitely feeling homesick. 3. What are your goals for next season? Honestly I'm expecting to be among the best in the league at this point. 4. Would you rather be an elite passer or elite scorer? Elite scorer, but points are points. 5. Are you interested in any other sim leagues? I was active in the EFL for a while but I just don't have the time to actively engage with more than one league. 7. How was your season as a member of the Ottawa Lynx? I wasn't here long and I was added to shore up our depth for a cup run, with us not winning the cup it was a bit of a letdown honestly.

  7. 1. Our winning streak ended at 12 does this give you hope for next season? Yeah I think you guys should be just as good next season. 2. Does that winning streak help us sell players to the team? I think that seeing a really young team be this successful in general will be a good sell to players. 3.What memeber of your team do you think is irreplaceable? Louth is kind carrying me on his line right now so I'll go with him. 4. Any prospects we should be looking into? Uhh yeah, my new player haha. Wolf Weiss. 5. What's your plans for the off-season once we reach it? I don't even want to think that far ahead, the off season drags. 6. Who do you think the cover athlete for a VHL game would be? Jet Jaguar for sure. Massive legend.
  8. 1) We're nearing the season... Do you think we make the playoffs? Yeah I think we'll find ourselves in a playoff position. 2) Do you think the trade of Jungkok helped us? Honestly I haven't really noticed it help or hurt us to this point. 3) What do we need to build on next season? I think it's just a waiting game. Our younger players just need more growth. 4) Are you excited for the future of the team? This is my last season in the VHL but I'll root for you guys in the future alongside Moscow. 5) Have you met your goals for the season? Definitely. I somehow put up career high points in my final season. 6) We've had a up and down season but what has been your highlight so far? See above haha.
  9. Thanks for the advice, honestly. Completely overlooked the issue with the flipped text. As to why I flipped the render, it's just personal preference I guess. I'm noticing now that most of my graphics tend to have the player on the left and text on the right haha.
  10. 1. We are sitting pretty atop of the standings, do you think we have a chance to go all the way? Yeah I think we definitely have a shot. Ottawa was already a good team and now the acquisition of Lin and myself bolster our chances. 2. If we were to play an exhibition game against a VHL major team, which team do you think we could actually beat? Malmo, but just because I still feel the rivalry from my time on Moscow. 3. If we make it through the playoffs to the finals, we most likely will be facing Houston. Should we approach that team differently or just play our game of hockey? Just play our game of hockey. Both of our teams are stacked and its going to come down to who the STHS gods favor. 4. Are there any personal awards that you have your sights set on? (WJC awards count too) I'm putting up pretty good numbers but I'm much too far from a personal award. 5. If you had to grade your own performance with the team this season from a grade of 1-10, how do you feel you did? Well I just got to the team but I'm already contributing so I'd say an 8 maybe? 7. How involved are you with the VHL community? Not as much as I would like to be. My participation outside of the forum definitely fell off after my first few months.
  11. (Wolf pictured with team Austria IIHF 2016) Beginnings Wolf Weiss has just recently entered the VHLM with his signing on the Mexico City Kings and subsequent trade to the Ottawa Lynx. Now currently contenting for a cup, one would one would assume that this is a huge step for the young forward. This would typically be the case however, Wiess is no stranger to the spotlight. Before joining the VHLM Wolf played youth hockey in his home country of Austria. As soon as he turned 18 he was offered a contract with EC Redbull Salzburg in the EBEL. International Stage Wolf's 18th birthday would be a momentous one, as he just made the cutoff to play in the IIHF World Championship in 2018. He was selected to do just that, becoming the youngest player on the team. Unfortunately Austria saw little success playing against teams such as Sweden, Russia, Czech Republic, and Switzerland. Therefore they were subsequently elimated from their bracket after placing 7th in their group. However Weiss was a bright spot in an otherwise dreary outing and his outstanding play in these games was enough to warrant an extension with EC Redbull Salzburg, not to mention the attention of the NHL. NHL Comes Knocking Following his success on the international stage, Wolf was entered into the 2019 NHL draft. From the get-go Wiess made it very clear that he would only sign with a team if he got to play with one of his IIHF teammates in Grabner or Raffl. Unfortunately it was around this time Wolf tragically sustained an injury to his knee. This caused him not only to miss the combine but the draft itself. As you can probably already guessed the combination of stubbornness and the potential of Weiss being injury prone caused GM's to pass on him, leaving him undrafted. While most may have been deterred as this point Wolf decided to grow from it and returned to his team in Salzburg. Present Upon returning to EBEL for the 2020 season Wolf was determined to make a name for himself and live up to the potential he previously showed. In the shortened season Wolf managed to put up 60 points in just 48 games. Weiss's excellent play helped secure Redbull Salzburg a spot in the CHL. This caught the attention of motzaburger, the now former GM of the Mexico City Kings and Wolf was offered a contract to play the rest of the season with them. Seeing this as an opportunity to make his way into the VHL Wolf gladly accepted. Tremendously Wolf was able to carry over his high levels of production to the new league so far scoring 81 points in 60 games. This level of play should guarantee a high position in next seasons draft. For Wolf this is just the beginning. 471 Words
  12. 2nd star and 2 points in the 10 mins of ice time I was alloted. Thank you sths.
  13. 1. Welcome to the Hylands/Rory era of Mexico City. What can the team do to bounce back and make the playoffs? At this point I think it's just up to all of our newest players to keeping adding TPE. 2. Do you have any parting words for old man @Motzaburger? Thanks for signing me my dude. Sorry I've been insanely busy. 3. World Juniors is starting soon! Who are you cheering for (Go Asia!)? Well I mean I'm representing team Europe so the choice is obvious. 4. What are your career goals in the VHL? Just to have a better career than my previous player. 5. If you had to pick between an 150 point season or a Founders Cup (VHLM playoff trophy) win, which would you pick and why? Point totals are really inflated in the VHLM so I'd rather win a cup. 6. Who are you cheering for in the NHL lottery today (OR) What do you think of the draft lottery winner? Ehh I didn't have a horse in that race.
