  1. 1. I could believe it, they have a championship squad for sure! 2. I honestly can't wait to hit the ice with him! Same draft class, same position, I really look forward on what kind of pairing we could make! 3. I have a feeling Wolski is going to have a hell of a season with our heavy blueline with some great scoring from our forwards. 4. I think Toronto and London had a handful of great picks in the first round, It's a deep class so I'm thinking they're in a good spot. 5. Call me a homer, but I really think we're in a great spot. Other than that, I think Seattle and Calgary are looking pretty scary. 6. Did I mention how excited I am to play with Lance Flowers? Cause I totally think we made the biggest signing for sure!
  2. 1. A lot of vino and spaghetti to cope with the pain, but eventually he'll shake it off and get back to work. It was a hell of a run. 2. The loss of Mikko is gonna hurt but i think we have the tools to adjust, Wolski looked great and I look forward in seeing him next season. 3. He's definitely going to venture back home in Italy for a bit to visit family and support system there before he hops back into the preseason training. 4. Seeing how Mikko's gone, Valentino is going to need to step into some big shoes to fill some of the missing leadership. He's been scrapping a lot recently that ended up in draws. He wants to change that. 5. It's a tough one, although I'd love to see Helsinki I think Seattle will finish it out on top. 6. Find the nearest pub to grab a drink, good food and watch the rest of the playoffs.
  3. 1. I think we have a hell of a chance, We're been on a tear recently with a few hiccups but I believe in the squad! 2. It's going to be a tough one facing the top dogs in the conference but we'll give them a hell of a series and hopefully beyond that, the goal will always be the Cup. 3. A replacement for Mikko for sure, as a player, leader and guy in the locker room but I don't know who can fill those kind of shoes. 4. Valentino has shown his limit on patience in getting involved in tussles and scrapping a bit, I think he understands that he only has so many games left in a few seasons so it's all or nothing for him. 5. 'The Turbulent Dragon' seeing how many rough patches we've experienced this season. 6. Mikko was the first player on the team to welcome me after being the Dragon drafted, guy is an absolute gem and I've always considered him a leader and like an older brother to me. He's going to be dearly missed on and off the ice.
  4. 1. Who would be the best VHL Member to be stuck in a bubble with? There's a lot of players I'd look forward to hang out with in a bubble, I'm pretty easy going. 2. Who would be the worst VHL Member to be stuck in a bubble with? Not really many here, but I'd say pretty much any team we'd be playing against in the playoffs. 3. DC is gonna have a Mario Kart Tournament.. Who wins and with what character? Most def myself as Luigi, everyone knows he's a God... like me ? 4. VHL Lets you bring one family member in the bubble, who you bringing? Gotta bring my main and only squeeze... and are cats allowed? ? 5. If the VHL was in a bubble, where would the host city be? International a possibility.. I'd say the UK would be awesome but not many ice rinks there. But also warm weather would be great like LA, bring in some revenue there for a new market. 6. What would be the hardest part of playing out the season + playoffs in a bubble for a full VHL season? It would be a life of restriction and routine that can drive most men mad but I think it's all worth it if you have your eye on the prize.
  5. 1. We have finally turned a corner, who do you think is the main reason for this surge of success? I think it's a major group effort. The forwards found some good chemistry, the D is holding up pitching in on both ends, and Wolski has made himself a wall when we get vulnerable. 2. Now that we are in reach of a playoff spot, what do you think we need to continue to do to reach that spot? Keep going with the current formula, keep pushing ourselves both in practice and in games, we can't get comfortable when there are teams worse than us but somehow higher on the bracket. 3. Guy Lesieur has returned to DC, what is the biggest asset of his you are looking forward to return to the team? The gang is back together again! Happy to have Guy back in the locker room and on the ice, guy is a gem! He's been helping us where we need it: scoring! 4. Our rookies have been great so far, what is your favorite moment of theirs so far this season? Rookies have been great sports in the locker room, get attitudes and very hungry for winning which is what we need. 5. Going forward on the season, what would you like to see your player accomplish in the second half of the season? I'm hoping that I'll be in the All-Star team this year, I just need to keep putting the work in. 6. NHL Playoffs have been underway, is your favorite team in there? Who are you rooting for if not? Since my boys in Teal aren't there, I'm looking East to my hometown team, Boston Bruins, although I'm in Caps country. Out of the West, Colorado or Vancouver would be pretty awesome to see! Would be cool if the Caps did win so that way I could get the day off to go to the parade again ?
  6. 1. For certain, consistency like playing all out one game then disappearing in others. Maybe it's a stroke of last season's bad luck following us but I know we're better than this. 2. Boris is out there playing to win, I think a lot of us need that kind of drive to get us out of this funk. 3. I think overall, we're doing great for D. Flaten is doing the dirty work in blocking shots and Drumm is out there laying the smackdown on our oppenents. 4. I don't think a trade is necessary, I think we have the tools to be great. It's just a matter of how we can best mesh and build solid chemistry with one another. 5. Most definitely, I wouldn't point any fingers his way in all this cause he's holding it down for us the best he can. 6. I'd say Americans. After all the short comings they've faced in recent seasons, they want redemption and I can't blame them for that.
  7. 1. Maybe last season's bad luck may have followed us a bit but we can get out of our funk in pressing hard now to gain a rhythm that can carry us forward. 2. I'd say pretty hard, I know my rust is showing and I'm still trying to shake it off and contribute as much as I can. 3. Always exciting, part of me wishes we were still the new kids on the block but it's good to have some new stadiums to play away games at. 4. I think we have all the tools to compete for the Cup, it's just a matter of when we can kick it into gear. Hopefully sooner than later. 5. Thai Food and Chik-fil-a, Taco Bell depending on my mood. 6. Get an official VHL award someday.
