Tagger got a reaction from McWolf in S66 Draft Class Rankings Podcast: Team Needs
So as I break down at the start of this podcast, when I did the S63 Draft Rankings, I had 8 weeks of topics prior to the draft to bring up in my weekly rankings. However, since I've joined the S66 Draft Rankings a week later in the process, I'll likely only have 7 weeks to do stuff, which would've meant I would have had to have dropped a topic. So instead, I've decided to take the topic that is easiest to talk about while driving and do podcasts for that subject, which is team needs, which will hopefully help younger players see how their player would fit into each of the VHL's respected franchises.

The rest of the editions will be up likely by Monday-Tuesday

So for the first set of weekly rankings for the Season 66 Draft, I'm going to focus on the top 10 first generation players (members who are on their first VHL player) of this Draft Class in TPE, looking at how well they've been doing and what else they can potentially be doing to move up even further in the rankings.

    #1 - Karl Jurri @hockeyis66

Having previously been in the SHL and GOMHL, Jurri is no stranger to hockey leagues and is currently just about seeing off his nearest first-gen challenger for the mark of top first-gen in this draft class. Creating at the trade deadline, Jurri has had as much time as possible to earn TPE prior to the draft and, had it not been for Shane Mars recreate TPE, would be pushing him hard for second place overall in these draft rankings. In regards to Jurri's TPE earning, he's been capping almost every week (the only exceptions being weeks without Trivia and his first week in the league), and has donated twice already in his short career to date. The only thing I believe he may have missed out on given that he came from the SBA was the Affiliate Creation Bonus, that would net him an extra 5 TPE. If he keeps this up, Jurri might wind up pushing Ryan Kastelic for most TPE for a first-gen player pre-draft.

    #2 - Maximillian Kirbsson @Kirby

Despite joining a week later than Jurri, Maximillian Kirbsson has done a very good job to find himself only a single TPE behind Jurri. The main reason why it's so close is that along with Kirbsson claiming the Affiliate Creation Bonus for 5 TPE, he's also spent some of his player store money on the first generation doubles week. Like Jurri, Kirbsson is pretty much capping every single week outside of the weeks where there is no Trivia, so it could well come down to whichever of the two finds a way to cap in weeks without trivia (either through reviewing or taking advantage of the new rule that allows players to submit both VHL.com articles and player cards in the same week) that will decide who enters this draft with the most TPE.

    #3 - Dimitri Volosenkov @SirRupertBarnes

Techincally Volosenkov is not a first generation player given that he has actually had a player before Volosenkov (Nick Ward), but I've decided to let it slide because he didn't actually earn any TPE with Ward. Unlike the two players that came before, Volosenkov is currently our highest ranking first-gen to have found us through reddit. While he is set to lose some TPE in the near future (a misunderstanding on how the Free Week works currently has him with an additional 12 TPE to his name), he still is very much one of the top young prospects heading into this draft, and will gain lots more TPE in the future thanks to his recruitment of fellow S66 draftee Rhye Tyr. However, there is definitely still room for improvement in regards to earning capped TPE as, unlike Jurri and Kirbsson, Volosenkov has never made the 12 TPE weekly cap. Writing 150 words for a VHL.com article for 2 TPE or doing 5 minute podcasts for VHL Radio for 3 TPE are the small tasks that could get Volosenkov on a level playing field with the other top first gens.

    #4 - Mikko Aaltonen @GRZ

The top first-gen to find his way to the league through recommendation of another player (fellow S66 draftee Richard Hejstel), Mikko Aaltonen looks set to reward his recruitee with big TPE gains as he looks set to easily surpass the 200 TPE milestone required for Hejstel to claim 10 TPE. While there was an adaptation period at the start of his career, Aaltonen has recovered to go on to hit the TPE cap in the last three weeks, which shows good versatility in earning given that there has not been Trivia awards the last couple of weeks. Keeping up that pace will ensure Aaltonen's place as a top five prospect in this draft.

    #5 - Rhye Tyr @Plate

As mentioned earlier in the draft, Rhye Tyr found his way into the league through Dimitri Volosenkov and the pair have done quite a few podcasts together. In comparison to Volosenkov, Tyr has a better record of hitting the TPE cap, having done so in three of his six weeks where he has earned TPE, plus Tyr also holds an assistant GM role of the Saskatoon Wild. However, of slight concern is that he's yet to register any TPE output this week and, going off his change of colour in username, may no longer be a part of the VSN crew, which was a big reason for his TPE record to date. If he can find ways to get back to the TPE cap without the job, he remains a very good prospect for this draft.

    #6 - Julius Freeman @rjfryman

While he is only sixth out of the first-generation players in TPE, Julius Freeman may actually be the most exciting member of this draft class. While he's 34 TPE off being the top first-gen in this draft, that's only because Freeman has been in the league for just three weeks. If you compare that to the seven weeks that Karl Jurri has been in the league, it would be more than fair to speculate that, had Freeman joined at the deadline, he would have without doubt been the number one first-gen in this draft class. One of the activities that has helped him nearly eclipse 150 in just three weeks is his participation in the lottery, which can grant players very attractive prizes, such as the 10 TPE prize Freeman earned at the end of February.

    #7 - Arnor Sigurdsson @bluesfan55

Another trade deadline creation, Sigurdsson has been a solid and consistent earner while developing in the VHLM for the Yukon Rush. While he was originally a player who consistently submitted for welfare, the last three weeks he has submitted Media spots instead, netting him more TPE for his player. He has yet to hit the 12 TPE cap yet during his career (his best week to date was a 9 capped TPE week three weeks ago), but he's not really that far off hitting that mark. If he adds 150 word VHL.com articles and some slightly better scores in the trivia to his current weekly tasks (Media and press conferences), he'll be at the top of his game.

    #8 - Bert Meyers @RunnerBert11

The story of Bert Meyers to this point is very similar to that of the previously mentioned Julius Freeman as he's another player who, despite only joining three weeks ago, ranks very highly among the eligible draftees. Like Freeman, Meyers hit the TPE cap in his first two weeks in the league and, while he's only at 10 for this week thus far, I presume he may be waiting for Trivia results to get him to the 12 TPE for the week. Another player who can't do any wrong at the minute and looks set to climb very high in these rankings should his form continue.

    #9 - Raphael Nazarians @LIL V O D AK

Nazarians created a week after the deadline, so didn't have quite as much time to earn TPE as some of his fellow prospects, but he hasn't stopped that from getting into the top ten in First-gen TPE. Nazarians got off to an extremely promising start, hitting the TPE cap in his first week in the league, which is a good sign as it proves that he is a player who can hit the cap. However since then, he's had a bit of inconsistency with earning TPE, as while he had one more week where he hit the 12 TPE cap, he's also had three weeks where he only submitted affiliate welfare. While affiliate welfare alone can help you become a solid role player in the league, he's already shown he's got the potential to be much more than that so it will be interesting to see how his earnings maintain in the lead-up to the draft.

    #10 - Owen May @FacebookFighter

The top goalie talent in this draft, Owen May is another draftee who has done a lot in a short amount of time, having created his player four weeks ago. He's pretty much done as much as one player can do to get as much TPE as he can, hitting the cap in three of his four weeks in the league. In fact, the only reason that he's behind other players who created late on in the process like Meyers and Freeman is the awards they received through donating and it doesn't look like May claimed the six TPE he was eligible for during the Special Event last week. Outside of that though, May has proven he has the earning potential to be a very good goalie talent in the future.

Tagger reacted to Matt_O in Season 20: Year in Review
The VHL has had a storied history, with the league currently in it's 65th season. But let’s take a look at the past, and look at what made each season, starting with the earliest index we have available, season 20. Each week there will be another season reviewed, going all the way to the present day. I would get yourself settled before reading this, it’s a long one.

Season 20 consisted of eight teams, seven of which are still in the league today. The Madrid Thunder were the lone team in this season that isn’t around today, and are one of the two defunct teams.

The Standings consisted of two divisions; the North American division, with the New York Americans, Calgary Wranglers, Seattle Bears, and Toronto league, as well as the European division, with the Madrid Thunder, Helsinki Titans, HC Davos Dynamo, and Riga Reign. With the old playoff system, the top two teams in each division squared off, rather than the current format where the top five overall make it.

The HC Davos Dynamo finished first place that year, with a strong 56-12-4 record, and finished the season off with 116 points, and on a five game winning streak. The Dynamo had league MVP Patrick Bergqvist on their squad, as he lead the team with 144 points, including 114 assists. He also received the Brett Slobodzian trophy for most outstanding player, the Sterling Labatte for top defenseman, and won the Alexander Beketov trophy for most assists. He still holds the record for most assists in a single season, and is one of six players to ever to have had over 100 assists in a season. Lets not forget about their goalie Daisuke Kanou, who had an incredible season as well, with a 2.12 GAA and a .922 Save Percentage. Their roster was stacked top to bottom, with an elite goalie, elite defenseman, and forwards such as Viottu Jannula, Marek Schultz, and Anton Brekker, who finished with 126,122 and 117 points respectively.

In second place, there was the Toronto Legion. They finished with a record of 55-13-4, including just one loss in their last twenty games, and a fourteen game winning streak. They finished with 114 points, good enough to win the North American Division, thanks in part to their incredible defensive play. They had a league low 168 Goals Against, with their defense consisting of Frans Spelman and David Walcott, as well as James Bencharski as the three most notable names. They also had legendary goalie Aiden Shaw, who won the trophy for best goaltender, and this was his first of four best goaltending awards for his career. The trophy itself is in fact named after the legend Aiden Shaw himself. In case I have talked to much about their defense, let’s take a look at their offense. Lars Berger, Zlaten Zanetti, and Xavier Martinez headlined their offense, and the elite first line combined for a whopping 363 points. This Toronto squad was stacked, and was the start of an eventual championship winning team.

In third place, we have the Riga Reign. Riga finished with 113 points, making this year a three headed race for the cup. They had a record of 55-14-3, just three points behind HC Davos, who they would play in the semi finals. This Riga team truly had an amazing offense, scoring 371, which is 47 more than Davos in second. This Riga offense was truly something spectacular. 371 goals in a single season is a record that will hold forever, barring major rule changes. Currently, the Seattle Bears have 73 goals in 17 games for Season 65, which is the most in the league so far. They are on pace for 62 less goals (309 in total) than Riga had in Season 20. They had the likes of JD Stormwall, who had 118 points. They had Mikka Virkkunen, who had 134 points, and Alex Stoyanovich, with 113 points. On top of those three, they had the likes of Tarik Saeijs, and Max Kroenenburg, who both had 157 points that year, good enough for third and fourth place all time. Those five are the entire top five in highest plus minus in a single season. The Season 20 Riga Reign takes up that entire top 5, with the only five players to ever have plus minus over 100 coming from this team. All this talk about their explosive offense, and I haven’t even mentioned their superb goalie, Ma’a Nonu. With a .922 Save Percentage and a 2.15 GAA, alongside six shutouts, made him the backstopper of this Riga Team.

Now, lets take a look at the fourth and fifth placed teams, the Helsinki Titans and the Seattle Bears. They had 79 and 81 points respectively, and the Bears snuck their way into the playoffs, but it didn’t come without help. The third place team in the North American Division had a pathetic 37 points, while Helsinki had to deal with the juggernauts of Riga and HC Davos, making a playoff birth near impossible. The Seattle Bears benefited from having star power, as well as depth to back them up. Markus Strauss pulled off an epic carry job, with 137 points on the year, alongside Cam Fowler, with 108 points. They also had Gouldhawke (92 points), Terragani (92 points) and Phil Gerrard (85 points). The Titans had a similar situation to the Bears, but they had less star power. Michael Angelo led the team in points, with 119, and Syd Drayson had 110. They also traded for Pekka Jarmuth about a third of the way into the season, and he finished with 90 points for Helsinki.

Now let's talk about the teams that finished in the basement that season. The Madrid Thunder, Calgary Wranglers, and New York Americans finished with 45, 37, and 23 (?) points respectively. However, while these teams won hardly any games, they had plenty of good players, especially Calgary. The Wranglers had Matthew Gunnarsson, with 145 points, as well as Jardy Bunclewirth (130 points) and Roman Andreev (111 points). The Thunder had Gordon Shore (99 points), and the Americans had Jukka Hakkinen (130 points) and Japinder Singh (113 points). The Americans also had goalie Wu Tang Fan, who had a putrid .840 save percentage, and 6.98 Goals Against. If you think that is bad, take a look at the Calgary netminder, Zach Henning. He had a cringe worthy 7.14 GAA, and a .835 save percentage. God these teams were pretty atrocious.

Through this season, there were only a few trades, and the biggest one was when Zlatan Zanetti and a season 21 Calgary third rounder was dealt from the Calgary Wranglers to the Toronto Legion, in exchange for CJ Boyer, a season 22 second rounder and a third rounder for season 22. CJ Boyer was later traded for a third round pick, which Calgary passed on. So they basically traded Zanetti for Fernando Garcia Jr. Garcia was a career backup, while Zanetti finished the year with 96 points, and had 84 points in his 59 games in Toronto, and was a big part for their finals run, even though they eventually lost.

Pekka Jarmuth was also traded from the Madrid Thunder to the Helsinki Titans for a second round pick (Yan Feng). Jarmuth finished with 90 points on the year, and was part of an overall successful season, even though they missed the playoffs.

The top three teams in Toronto, Riga and Davos really stacked up on the awards this season. Patrick Bergqvist took home a number of awards as previously mentioned. Tarek Saeijs of the Riga Reign won the Kevin Brooks trophy (most goals), with 71 goals, the most in a single season since season 8. He also won the Mike Szatkowsi trophy (most points), with 157 points, alongside teammate Max Kroenenburg, who also had 157 points.

The opening round of the playoffs consisted of the Victory cup winning HC Davos Dynamo facing off against the Riga Reign and their absolutely loaded offense, while the Toronto Legion and their strong defense took on Markus Strauss and the Seattle Bears. The Legion were simply to much for the Bears to handle, and they swept them en route to a finals appearence, with a comeback 2-1 win in game one, 5-2 win in game two, 4-1 win in game three, and a 4-3 overtime win in game four. Biggie Shakur and David Walcott were the heroes of the series, with six and seven points respectively, and Shakur scored the overtime winner that sent Toronto to the finals.

On the European side of things, a dangerous Riga offense took on a well rounded Davos squad, who were primed for a playoff run. The Reign took game one 4-2, as Max Kroenenburg tallied three points in the win. But Davos bounced back, with a commanding 3-0 win in game two, with all three goals coming in the third period. Game three was taken by Davos again, this time in overtime, 3-2. Jannula had another two points, and the Dynamo shut down the high scorers of Riga. Game four went back to Riga, who tied the series 2-2. One common theme was that the depth was scoring, as the elite scorers of Patrick Bergqvist from Dynamo and Tarik Saeijs were held scoreless in multiple games. Game five swung back the Dynamos way, as they took a 3-2 series lead with a 4-2 win. But Riga still wouldn’t give up, and took game six 3-2 and forced game seven. There were 13 penalties in the game, and both teams went a combined 2 for 13 on the powerplay. In game seven, Davos played no games, and easily took it 6-1, and were off to the finals to face the Legion. Jordan Bergland and Geno Esposito had three points in the win for Davos.

As the opening faceoff for game one was dropped in Davos, there seemed to be something off with the Dynamo. They fell 7-2 at home in game one, as Frans Spelman and Lars Berger both had five points in the winning effort. The Dynamo quickly changed the narrative around, delivering a hard fought 1-0 victory to even the series at 1. Anton Brekker scored on the power play five minutes into the third period, and that is all Davos needed, as Daisuke Kanou shut the door and stopped all 23 shots that came his way. Game three swung back Torontos way, as Lars Berger scored both Toronto goals and the Legion won 2-1. But once again, the Dynamo bounced back and avoided the 3-1 hole and won game four 4-2, as Geno Esposito had three points and Kanou stopped 25 of 27 shots. Heading back to Davos, the series was tied 2-2. But Toronto was determined, and took game five, by a score of 2-1. Another low scoring matchup, and this series was truly a great one. Frans Spelman picked up both Toronto goals, and Espositos goal with five minutes left was not early enough for the Dynamo, as Toronto went back to Canada with a 3-2 series lead. But the trend of the losing teams bouncing back continued, and Davos picked up an incredible 3-2 overtime win to force game seven. Kanou made 50 saves on 52 shots, and David Vidal scored in double overtime to send this series back to HC Davos for game seven.

Game seven started out with an immediate goal from Patrick Bergqvist, and he gave the Dynamo the lead only 19 seconds into the game. There was no scoring for the remainder of the first, and Cedric Pollack scored 37 seconds into the second period to give Davos a 2-0 lead in game seven. It would not hold though, as Zlatan Zanetti scored on the power play late in the second to make it 2-1 headed to the third. With nine minutes left, Lars Berger continued his incredible run and scored to tie the game at two. Just three minutes later, Anton Brekker scored what proved to be the Cup winning goal on the PP. Kanou shut the door soon after and pushed the Dynamo to their third continental cup in franchise history.

After this in depth review of season 20, we will be looking at season 21 next week, and a new season each week until we hit modern day. I know it was a long read, so thanks for sticking through it and getting to the end! If you have suggestions for other things to include for future installments, feel free to sound off in the comments. ?

Tagger got a reaction from McWolf in Season 62 Re-Draft
While there have been considerably deeper draft classes since, the Season 62 Draft will be remembered as the draft that signalled the revitalization of the VHL to it’s best form. The last ten seasons of drafts had only 11 first generation players (members creating a player in the VHL for the first time) that would go on to make the VHL professional level by right (exceeding 200 TPE) and the league was pretty much surviving based off of veteran members continuing to recreate, even after a decision to cut the league down from ten teams to eight. However, the Season 62 Draft would wind up producing 11 first generation players alone and while that figure pales in comparison to the drafts that would follow, it was certainly the turning point that got the VHL heading in the direction that it currently is today.

Despite the increase in new members, the top end of the draft was still primarily focused on the recreating players and the top two picks in this draft were pretty much set in stone heading into it. Set to go number one to the Riga Reign (the winners of the draft lottery despite only finishing with the third worst record in Season 61) was Leph Twinger, a player whose associated member DollarAndADream had made several very good players in the past 25 seasons, most notably Hall of Fame winger and first overall selection from the Season 46 Draft Zach Parechkin. Not only was history on Twinger’s side, he entered the draft with a pretty convincing lead in TPE as he was 43 ahead of his nearest challenger Rauno Palo. The league’s worst team from Season 61, the Seattle Bears, held the second pick of the draft and while there was quite a TPE difference between himself and some of the other players available, Maxim Kovalchuk was pencilled in as the team’s second overall selection. The Russian defenseman was 70 TPE off of fellow recreates Vesto Slipher and Rauno Palo, but Kovalchuk’s associated member is also the GM of the Seattle Bears, meaning that they’d pretty much guaranteed either eight seasons of Kovalchuk or however long he was required at the Bears as an asset to their Championship goals. The biggest surprise of the draft was Toronto Legion picking goalie Johnny Havenk Carison third overall. While this did fill a need for Toronto as they were without a goalie at the time and there were no guarantees yet about the young goalies in the Season 63 Draft, the high pick was surprising given that Carison was over 100 TPE behind Palo and Slipher (two players who he joined the league in the same week as) at the time of the draft.

But how would the draft go if we gave them another shot at it, here’s how I think it would’ve looked:

    1-Vesto Slipher
    Was: Leph Twinger

This was between Slipher and a repick of Twinger as history shows that Riga needed a winger of these two player’s calibre for the Championship run in Season 63. Even though Slipher has put up fairly mediocre stats to this point of his career (which I’d mainly put down to rough team compositions with the defense-heavy Meute and the three line Titans), I’m going to slot him in at first overall due to his lead in TPE, although it would have been interesting to see if Slipher would have faced a similar fate to Twinger this off-season just gone where the winger was traded to New York to free up cap space.

    2- Maxim Kovalchuk
    Was: Maxim Kovalchuk

TPE wise, Kovalchuk is still as far behind the top prospects in this draft as he was before it took place. However, he’s still the highest TPE defenseman taken in this draft (and the Bears didn’t have a single defenseman leading into this draft so the pick filled a need) and the added bonus of the Seattle GM being able to draft his own player makes this a no brainer.

    3-Leph Twinger
    Was: Johnny Havenk Carison

One of the notable points of the Legion’s last few seasons is their complete lack of luck in the lottery, as they’ve either found themselves move down a pick or traded their own pick that wound up becoming first overall. In this timeline though, DollarAndADream gets a bit more luck and is able to take his own player for the Legion.

    4-Rauno Palo
    Was: Rauno Palo

While his early career build choice (he didn’t add to passing or scoring until the end of his second season) was part of the reason why he fell both in the actual draft and this re-draft, his current build is much more in line with the norm, allowing him to make the most of being second from this draft class in TPE.

    5-Jake Davis
    Was: Vesto Slipher

Quebec would go on to compete in the Continental Cup final after this season, so with Slipher gone already, they need another player who made the VHL in his first season of eligibility to take his place. That will be Jake Davis, who has earned the most TPE out of all the first-gens in this draft. and has been over a point per game in his last two seasons.

    6-Ryuu Crimson
    Was: Dan Montgomery

While Jake Davis has the most TPE out of this drafts first-gens, Crimson leads all players in this draft (first-gen or not) in TPE earned since the draft. While part of that will be down to his extra season in the VHLM (taking advantage of the extra TPE bonuses there), he wouldn’t have gotten to that point without a lot of hard work and Helsinki get the star forward of the future they thought they were getting with Dan Montgomery.

    7-Shawn Glade
    Was: Dylan Nguyen

Glade goes back to the Reign team that he was also taken by in the actual draft, just four picks earlier this time. Over 600 TPE, Glade has kept consistent with Kovalchuk in terms of TPE earning and, now with a VSN editor job, may eventually catch up to the second overall pick.

    8-Oleksiy Revchenko
    Was: Konstantin Mulligan

The pre-draft concern for Revchenko was that the Ukrainian forward was only earning TPE through affiliate welfare and not doing many VHL activities. However, over the last few months, he’s started engaging in considerably more VHL activities and looks set to become a very solid center prospect (although his activity might not have been enough to save him from the same fate Konstantin Mulligan met when he was selected by Davos, an early season trade to acquire defenseman Ay Ay Ron).

    9- Roctrion King
    Was: Ryuu Crimson

From last pick of the second round in the original draft to first pick of the second round in the re-draft, King doesn’t earn a ton of capped TPE per week (regularly relying on welfare and Brand executive job pay), but he does engage in quite a few of the uncapped activities, which has helped him move up the draft.

    10-Johnny Havenk Carison
    Was: Jake Davis

The reason why the former third overall pick falls down nearly an entire round worth of picks is that I think, even with their need at the position, if you told Helsinki and Toronto that Carison would be 457 TPE at the start of his fourth VHL season, they would rather shore up their skating talent with players with much higher TPE than use their first on the goalie. Therefore, instead of addressing the need right away, Toronto grabbed their 700+ TPE winger before grabbing Carison in the second.

    11-Paolo Nano
    Was: Shawn Glade

I was considering Mulligan and Montgomery here, but given that the team already has five active forwards in accordance with this draft (Cast, Preencarnacion, Slipher, King, Pajari), they would rather make Nano their second active talent on defense alongside Glade.

    12-Konstantin Mulligan
    Was: Oleksiy Revchenko

The same concerns that centered around Revchenko pre-draft were also true about Mulligan, although Mulligan also had a peculiar build through the first three seasons of his career and that build led to him being a third line player on Helsinki in Season 64, before being traded to Quebec mid-season.

    13-Dan Montgomery
    Was: Karl Von Moltke

Montgomery was the leading first generation player in TPE heading into this draft, but he’s now fallen down to being the sixth-best first generation player in TPE, in part because his only source of capped TPE is welfare. Along with Mulligan, this pair of seconds would give them two VHL talents for their push at a Continental Cup in Season 62 (although if they’d have the cap is another thing, something I can’t check back on because the forum for old finances has been moved).

This is also the only instance where the player originally selected doesn't feature at all on the re-draft. Karl Von Moltke went inactive not long after the draft, despite his player doing extremely well in the VHLM with the Halifax 21st. He's currently on Moscow Menace's books, but he'll likely be one of the first to give way for newer members to take his place given he has only 4 points in 18 games this season.

    14-Lando Baxter
    Was: Lando Baxter

One of the few players to be re-drafted in exactly the same spot, I had considered Baxter for number 11, but the rate in which Nano has gained on Baxter in TPE since the draft (turning a 92 TPE gap to just 11) convinced me otherwise.

    15-Cayden Saint
    Was: Cayden Saint

The first player taken here who has had spells of inactivity, Saint was recently traded to Davos for a second and a third round selection in Season 67, but I think that’s more reflective on Davos wanting depth at defenseman and having several 1sts anyway rather than the actual value of Saint, who is a solid but unspectacular player.

    16-Dylan Nguyen
    Was: Roctrion King

The biggest faller in this Re-draft, Nguyen fell off of full activity not long after making it to the VHL as personal stuff kept him off the site. Hasn’t posted on the site this calendar year and looks set to be a filler player for the remainder of his career.

So for the first set of weekly rankings for the Season 66 Draft, I'm going to focus on the top 10 first generation players (members who are on their first VHL player) of this Draft Class in TPE, looking at how well they've been doing and what else they can potentially be doing to move up even further in the rankings.

Tagger got a reaction from Spade18 in Season 62 Re-Draft

    Oh my god

    I love it

And for the record, Davos is great and yes I accidentally smoke screened myself at least like 7 times in one game with those guys

@ShawnGlade mentioned that I didn't mention him in my Season 62 ReDraft podcast, so in return, I've dedicated the entirety of my drive back home from work to talking about him.

Review : First off - this is one of the first Podcasts I have heard and I want this to be a 3 hour podcast as author is magnificent at showing his opinion while driving a car in active traffic. Surely an interesting way how to look at VHLM situation that happened. Simming problems should definitely be addressed. Truly an amazing job and keep up the good work! 10/10

    Sounds Good!

Since our recruitment has been so hot lately we need to find some new ways of engaging the new people. Just a rough look shows that our retention is up by over 20% from previous seasons! We need ways to keep them engaged. Im going to interview some new members and ask them what we could do better and see if I can get some good feedback.

Updated. With a weeks worth of updates this took a lot longer than anticipated, so there's a chance that TPE was added mid-way through me updating this. If so though, I do plan on updating this tomorrow as well so those updates will be in soon enough.
