  1. 1. I like this start for us. It shows that we are a competitive team but the losses make us hungry for more. I know in the locker room a lot of guys are looking to put in more work to show these teams what we got. 2. I would say my favorite stat is the stat line of our goalie Bacon. The goalie is such an important roll and when you have a guy like Bacon in the net it just help the whole team feel confident. He has been good start during this season so far and his save percentage has been pretty great for the guys we have to put on the ice right now. By the end of the season we'll turning it up for him I am sure as the whole team works on defense. 3. I think coach needs to work on our defensive strategy. We need to be helping our goalie out. Fighting down low and moving out the screens, gotta stop chasing the puck and look to get interceptions in our zones that lead to mismatches on the other side of the ice. 4. If I were to be an AGM my biggest contributions would be in brain storming ideas for the team to participate in to bring up moral and team bonding. 5. I've seen Avatar: The Last Airbender more times than I can count. An amazing show and its great even as an adult. I would recommend it to anyone and it just got released on Netflix! 6. All the wood.
  2. The Miami Marauders just finished up their first game of the season and came out with a surprise win shocking everyone but themselves. While the team looked good as a whole one stood out from the rest with an impressive start to the season. Miami goalie Bacon "Baconator" took the hearts of the home town fans stopping 46 out of the ridiculous 50 shots on goal in their 6 to 4 win over the Minnesota Storm. Here is an exclusive VHL.com look at the Baconator in action!
  3. With the VHLM season about to kick off the new expansion team Miami Marauders are looking to start off strong. While the team hasn't hit the ice yet we here at VHL.com will be looking at the synergy between the Captain of the team Andre Lebastard and starting RW Bobbie Cheechoo. These two will be looking to put the puck in the back of the net tonight with Cheechoo's strong speed and Lebastard's crisp passing. It will be interesting to see these two on the ice together and if a dynamic can be formed between the two of them. While on paper they look like a good pairing, we all know it's about what we see on the ice that matters. These are the forwards that the team is looking to have production at the start of the season and getting this team on the right track to start. With this being Miami's first season in the VHLM we don't expect much but if these two can work together they just may end up surprising us.

  7. 1. I joined last week when I saw a Reddit post for a different league, and someone in the comments said this league was better and I agreed with them after a quick look at the portal. 2. Graphics, articles, and press conferences. 3. Just want some friendly guys, maybe some teammates to play other games with, and of course a little shit talkin. 4. Hopefully I will bring some goal scoring as one of the forwards on this team. 5. In California so not much hockey here so I did Water polo, probably my tournament wins. 6. Drinking.
  8. 1. I see myself getting picked in later rounds of the draft due to my skills being somewhat raw, but I am positive whatever team picks me up will sure be glad they did. 2. My skating and scoring ability will be strong selling points for me to get drafted. Teams that are looking to make it far this season will need to see production from all lines and I hope to provide that. 3. Ill be coming in as a rookie so I will have to prove myself. You're going to get someone that is hard working and wants to see the team succeed. While I am serious on the ice, I try to bring a lighthearted nature to the locker room and build chemistry with my teammates that grows outside of just the game. 4. My older brother. He was the one that got me into hockey in the first place and I am here to follow in his footsteps. 5. Uhtred has always been a player I've looked at and tried to emulate. His skating and scoring ability are what I am trying to bring to teams that I am on. (Plus you gotta love some Last Kindgom). 6. I want to be able to look back on my career and see one thing. I helped teams win championships.
