So two teams have been axed and i'm somewhat disappointed. Turku looked like a great organization in my opinion, mainly due to their memorable duo of Sinclair and Wingate the previous season. I have some old history with Minot when I had Bravehart so that's always sad to see. I only have one big issue with cutting down on the teams. This will allow for more people on teams, create better parity within the league and give people the chance to get a better locker room experience. The biggest issue? There will be less teams to beat up on, thus your stats won't be as good. These rebuilding teams would have a few good players that would get loads of opportunity but now those opportunities would be cut in half. Where one person could play top line minutes on one team, they might be forced into being a third line center on another. Some people might believe that the Founders Cup is the most important milestone in the VHLM. For me? Getting that 20 on my achievement tracker. With these changes it will be harder for people to get the 20 TPE for their development. Yep, that's pretty much the only issue. Oh, and there will also be a lot less trade. Goodbye trade deadline, we hardly knew you.
 
 
I was reading through the thread and noticed that it got to be less and less about the VHLM and more about the salary cap. I think Savage should be allowed to build how he wants to, he did warn everyone about it beforehand and there's no real point in bugging him about it. Salary cap doesn't matter too much to me but i'd like for it to go up, for completely selfish reasons $$. Lets just say that I better be getting paid more than Pajodcast. I got 35 goals on the season so far, 2 behind the team lead and I didn't have the doubled PP time that he had so that's a nice plus. Got dropped a line but i'm still producing. Y'know, maybe Seattle shouldn't be upset with their centers known as Savage and Pajodcast and remember that Kurri, a player on their roster is also a center and might do better playing in his natural position especially with the TPE he put into face-offs. *Cough*

In true whoring fashion. Anyone who 'likes' this post will get a Shoutout in honour of my ~11K post party. Between the three movements of the boards we've kinda lost count but this is more of shameless 'like' boosting than a party.

No more goaltenders, no more! Nah, I don't really mind goaltenders too much. It gives more competition and imagine if each team had like 2 active goaltenders? Actually that doesn't sound too good but I commend everyone making those goaltenders. I never could handle it when I had Shielder Jr. and the only team that I could go to was Vasteras and lets just say I wasn't really happy going there. Some new applications are up, Smarch stepped down. VHLM Magazine had a spot or two open since lately we haven't had many articles submitted but I always keep up (Somehow). Quebec is steamrolling Seattle, though there would be a rivalry but it doesn't look like that right now. Maybe in the playoffs? We'll see. Mikaelson is godly and probably one of the best up and coming goaltenders in the league and I potted my second career hat trick and now sit with 17 goals on the season and i'm on pace to score more than my rookie season but I did cool off a bit. Hoping Kurri gets some PP time and i'm interested in seeing if Quebec can finally win a cup with Bruno Wolf at the helm. Not anything big this week from me but the league is moving along nicely.

Here is a mission statement, blue team decided its best for me to stay on as GM. Now I go back to work and we kick ass.

Might as well add my TPE after I do my next F90.

Interesting season so far and i'm somehow above a PPG so far and lead my team in scoring but something has caught my attention. The Blue Team seems to be trying to replace Bushito who was missing for about like 5 days which is somewhat strange since he's literally our best player and still can manage his GMing duties. I personally wouldn't replace him at this point, especially since he assembled the current team and core. I might even bolt if there was some random replacement because I like how our team is and somehow we managed a playoff spot right now. I'm kind of aware that there are qualms with Bushito being GM and at times even I see the issues but I don't think they're big enough to warrant replacement.
 
So yeah. Don't go around trying to change our GM just yet because I would rather see the team succeed at this point and we seem to be fine so far. Stay away Blue Team, be warned! Or like else, yeaaah.

Theo Matsikas is in his rookie season in the VHLM . Theo was drafted in the deep rounds of the draft at number 26, to the Oslo Storm. The season is 5 games into it, and the storm are having a very fast and strong start to the season. They are currently sitting at number one in the league, at 5-0. In those fives games the storm have outscored their opponents 25-6, for a goal differential of +19 .
A large part of the Storm success, is the play of Prince Gigga-Bijou. Prince has 8 goals, and 6 assists for a total of 14 points in 5 games !
 
How does Theo connect to all this? Well the young rookie is currently logging over a whooping 30 minutes per game ! Playing these big minutes have placed Theo 3rd on the team in plus minus, sitting at a +5 . Although Theo does not have any goals yet this season,  he does have 5 assists. Which leaves him sitting at a point per game pace through 5 games, which is great for a defensive rookie .
