We have a great group of individuals in Malmo this season, and while many are deserving of a letter on their jersey, only a few can be chosen. I'm proud to announce the leadership group for the S86 Malmo Nighthawks is as follows: C - Max Torq, @Steve A - Igor Molotov, @Dom A - Boris Tzesar, @comrade cat Congratulations to those individuals, the Nighthawks are very well represented this season!

Took me long enough to get this done, but it's definitely appropriate to hang this to the rafters before this next season starts. Although he was a part of the organization right before I became the GM, it is both my honor and privilege to announce the jersey retirement of: DRUSS DEATHWALKER - #66, @animal74 A career made up of franchise greats with goals (2nd highest), assists (3rd highest), and an utterly insane amount of hits (2,882 hits) to set an all-time VHL record, Deathwalker was special. He was an absolute force to be reckoned with for Malmo, helping them excel in S79 with both a Victory Cup and a Continental Cup. Although no individual awards were won throughout their career, Deathwalker was a mainstay in Malmo and challenged the very best of them whenever he was on the ice. A leader in the locker room, a gentlemen to his teammates, and a battering ram on the ice, Druss Deathwalker deserves every part of recognition for their achievements. His banner will hang in the Malmo Nighthawks home arena for all time!

Welcome everyone here live and to those reading in the future! S85 was a step forward for the Nighthawks, improving upon our record from S84 to make it into the playoffs. While our season ended shorter than we would have liked, we honor the great players who wore our jersey this past season and made their mark! ------ The Squawk award is given out to the person who motivates the team constantly every day. They work towards creating a positive atmosphere on the team and are a motivation to other players throughout the season. The nominees are… @Steve @comrade cat @Dom And the winner of The Squawk award is… @Steve! Congratulations!! ------ The High Flyer is the Nighthawk that can be relied on in every situation! Regardless of the scenario, this player always played lights out whenever we needed them to help the team. The nominees are… @TheNeonShaman @qripll @Dom And the winner of The High Flyer award is… @qripll! Congratulations!! ------ The Stalker award goes to the heavy hitter on the team. Watching and waiting until the perfect time to strike and demolish an opponent. Big hits, fights, and physicality were always expected from this player! The nominees are… @Dom @jaredc7 @Yahtzee And the winner of The Hunter award is… @jaredc7! Congratulations!! ------ The Keeper award of course goes to the goaltender in our net who helped push the teams into the playoffs with more than commendable stats! This season, I’m proud to extend The Keeper award to @comrade cat. Congratulations, well done, and thank you!! ------ The Bird of Prey. The watchful eye in the sky that leads the flock. This player was a force on the ice in all aspects of the game. They were relentless, ruthless, and a leader. Without a doubt, they helped make up the Malmo Nighthawks each and every game. Congratulations!!! ------ My first season with the Malmo Nighthawks, and what a great season it was! We built off the team from last season and pushed into the playoffs, bringing Davos to game 5 in the wild card round. While others may look at our season as unsuccessful, I’d beg to differ. We’re beginning a culture here that truly represents the Malmo Nighthawks. We have a great team of individuals who are willing to help each other earn and work together to make this team better. Next season, we will be better. We will be stronger. And we end S85 remembering the players that made their mark with this franchise. Well done to all, our flock always flies together!
