  1. This Dream team is comprised of players eligible for the S75 VHL Entry Draft. The players picked are each the best at there respective position after looking at both TPE and career statistics. The team will include the minimum number of players (3f, 2d, 1g).

    1. Taro Tsujimoto | C | 6' 2" | 209 lb. | Age: 20 | TPE: 216

Although His TPE is not significantly higher than any of the other centers eligible for S75, his statistics is what stands out the most. he currently has a whopping total of 70 points in 36 games, good for a 1.94 points per game average. Taro is a fast agile playmaking center with good size who has exploded this season after only recording 3 points in 19 games in his rookie year.

    2. "L" | D | 6' 6" | 234 lb. | Age: 29 | TPE: 207

Playing on a stacked Mississauga team L has impressed with 32 points in 36 games this season. A big body with and outstanding defensive game, L is the most intimidating player in this draft class. Despite not being mobile or overly physical, L uses a good defensive stick to break up plays and clog passing lanes. L also possesses surprisingly soft hands as he's able to control the puck with ease.

    3. Chicken Wing | D | 5' 9" | 200 lb. | Age: 19 | TPE: 143

I have to admit this selection may be somewhat biased based on the fact chicken wing does not have the highest TPE among defensemen, but knowing this I can't ignore the surprisingly impressive season Chicken Wing has played so far. Chicken in 36 games played has managed to put up 47 points as a defensemen which is the most among his position in this draft class. Doubters will quickly point at his -21 plus minus and explain that a defense should defend before anything else, but what has to be remembered is that he's played on a bottom 4 team for the entire year. Therefore with the right players in front of him Chicken could be the steal of the S75 Draft.

    4. Joe Kelly | LW | 6' 1" | 190 lb. | Age: 16 | TPE: 167

Honestly the reason I have Joe Kelly in hear is because I feel bad for him. Despite having the highest TPE among left wingers in the draft, he has a measly 1 point (an assist) in 36 games this season. This is mainly because Joe has seen little to no ice time with Halifax this season, the reasoning for this is that Halifax is loaded with VHLM stars, all with higher TPE's than him. Because of this I can't leave him off this team because only god knows what he's capable of with a good amount of ice time.

    5. Sirkants Klamasteris | G | 6' 5" | 235 lb. | Age: 25 | TPE: 177

Posting a fairly impressive save percentage of 0.896 percent, Sirkants is a large positionally sound goaltender playing with the Ottawa Lynx. Sirkants is the best amongst the goalies in the VHL draft mainly because of his win percentage. His SV% can be matched by at least one other goalie in the draft class, but no one else has been capable of winning as many games.

    6. RJ Thatcher | RW | 6' 1" | 200 lb. | Age: 18 | TPE: 129

RJ while having the lowest amount of TPE in this list has managed to put up fairly impressive numbers with the Mexico City Kings. In 36 games played he has 29 goals and 27 assists on the season good for a total of 56 points.  Playing top line minutes, RJ is already among the best on his team. RJ has also shown to be a very effective two way player posting a +24 plus/minus while playing on a mid table team

    Honorable Mention:

    Pistil Stamen | C | 6' 2" | 212 lb. | Age: 27 | TPE: 193

Considered the second best center in the draft, Pistil is a promising prospect who by the opinion of many, hasn't performed to the best of his abilities this season. However, this player has loads of potential and can easily be a cornerstone piece to any VHL team if he's given time to develop.

Press Conference questions for week end Oct 11 2020

    1. It’s been a crazy few days with the vhl recruitment drive, how do you feel about all the new additions to the team?

    2. How much TPE do you plan to earn each week? Give me a quick breakdown.

    3. Miami sits 11 points back of 8th place with half a season to go. Can they make up ground and push for that 8th spot?

    4. Do you think Miami should make any moves before the trade deadline?

    Get to know ya questions:

    5. We have a ton of new faces and I love to know where everyone’s allegiances lie when it comes to the NHL. Who is your favourite hockey team?

    6. Piggy backing off the last question which team or teams in the NHL do you despise?

1.I feel the multiple additions including mah boi Addison McLaren have really invigorated the team lately.

2.I plan on maxing out when I can by doing press conferences, trivia, media spots and reviews. Unfortunately this week I am busy so my broke ass will be claiming welfare

3.100% This team no doubt has what it takes, we just have to keep pushing.

4.Nah, I think we have a lot of good new players right now who would benefit from the experiences of making a playoff push. Plus it will allow the players to build chemistry with each other for longer.

The awesome @Da_Berr has stepped down as Warsaw AGM to focus on school. Warsaw will be looking for a new AGM, someone that can keep the locker room engaged and help my indecisive ass think through potential moves. PM me here or on discord (BBD#5758) if interested!

  4. I like the cool little effect of rotating effect you put, makes it look a card or something. I think a way you you could improve it though is to cut the road that outlines gamebreaker so that it only appears on the card in the front. but overall I like it.

  5. The European Conference is starting to get interesting as the race for the top seed in Europe gets closer. Game 295 saw the 2nd place Moscow Menace pull off a victory against the 1st place Malmo Nighthawks to close the gap from 6 points to 4. With Moscow having a game in hand the last half of the season could see a tight race for first between Malmo, Moscow and Reign. Meanwhile just like in the European division, North America looks to have a 3 horse race as well with Vancouver Seattle and D.C all plying for a top spot. With an 8 consecutive win streak D.C has turned many heads in the past week by getting hot at the right moment. However doubts can be made about this win streak being that most of the 8 teams beaten were lower standing teams, all of which didn't include Vancouver or Seattle, both of which they're trying to catch.

    Overview

Cabe McJake is a shifty agile sniper who plays for the Miami Maraurders in the VHLM. With a small sample size Cabe has been relatively quiet scoring 0 points in his first two games with the team with a Plus/Minus of -1. However, this shouldn't raise any concerns since he has still managed to be involved with shots on goal meaning its only a matter of time before he gets on the scoresheet.

    Pros:

Work Ethic: Due to his well known severe ADD, Cabe has an obsession with improving his skills on the ice. Having only gone as far as senior kindergarten meaning Cabe hasn't had the distraction of academics unlike his peers.

Shot: Cabe's shot is well known for the most part because he murdered an 11 year best people accidentally in a game of shinny by shooting a wrist shot at his throat, and also due to the fact he had a 95 mph slapper at the age of 3. He uses his shot mostly on the power play where he will set up the right side for one timers.

Skating: Cabe seemes to be able to effortlessly glide across the ice. With acute acceleration and a quick stride Cabe can intimidate defenders into backing off giving him time to utilize his shot from the high slot. Cabe will also tend to glide and he keep his momentum in all zones of the ice allowing him to pick up the puck in stride and attack defenders, rumor has it he does this because he still hasn't learned how to properly stop yet. Cabe's skating ability is compared mostly to the likes of Erik karlsson for the fact he also can't skate backwards.

Hands: Cabe also has posseses quick hands which he uses often when on the powerplay and on the rush. Cabe is able to operate in tight spaces using his stickhandling ability to get out of tough situations.

    Cons:

Leadership: Unfortunately, due to his mental retardation Cabe is not able to communicate effectively with his teammates. In fact he can't communicate with his teammates at all since the only language he even came close to learning was Gaelic. Because of this his linemates are forced to simply play off what he does as they have no idea what he's planning to do. This also makes him completely uncoachable due to the fact that even with a translator, Cabe is only able to speak complete gibberish.

Discipline: Cabe has absolutely no idea how to control himself. He frequently reacts in rage and anger after being scored on or defeated which he typically takes out on team staff. In the last two years Cabe is responsible for the deaths of several stick boys, equipment managers and even assistant coaches. Despite this Cabe has never been convicted for any of his offences since he's able to use his star sign as an excuse for his impulsive behavior in a court of law.

  7. This graphic mad me wanna nut. them pads are the stuff of dreams. I'd trade both my wife and kids as well as my virginity (don't ask how I had kids) for a pair of those bad boys. The little paint swashes behind the tendy are also disgusting. Also your teams jersey colour are also pretty gross.

    Welcome @RedSus

I'm Zetterberg the AGM of The Miami Marauders. And we want you to join our roster of players.

We have a plan in place to make the playoffs but we need players to do it.

You would be getting loads of minutes and you'll be put in the best place possible to rack up a ton of points.

So if you're interested in joining us in Miami quote this post with "accept" and we'll get your player suited up and ready to go in our next game.
Something to keep in mind, San Deigo has recently had an influx of players due to Thash signing with them,

because of this if you sign with them you won't be getting nearly as much minutes or points as you would with Miami.
