youloser1337 got a reaction from Hogan in Ottawa Lynx press conference
1. I'd say our goalie has the best name on the team. Hugo Boss. It's intimidating and tough sounding. Final boss energy.
2. I'm trying to build a shoot first player. Sort of like a sniper build and a finisher. Essentially a powerplay quarterback.
3. Honestly both have their perks. The old one was more rigid and fierce. It was very flat though. It'd probably look great on a shoulder as an alternative logo.
The new is very defined and detailed. It doesn't have that fierce / intimidating factor though. I would say if it was showing teeth it would be better.
4. Right now, it sucks that I have to hot the welfare button. Working full time in the office is really draining. Especially IT work. I hope to hit that creative juice again and earn all 12 again. For now, I'll do my best to earn as much as possible. I guess that's why I wasn't taken in the early rounds.
5. I think the nature of sths it will always be assists first. The dream would be goals first. I think my player will settle into a 80 ~ 90 point season.
6. I don't mind it. I like it as I usually check forum content so this will be a nice reminder to do it.

1. We have a good chance of doing some damage this season. It'll be nice to be on a new team as well.
2. I'm shocked at how far down I went in the draft. I guess it was that deep this year.
3. I'm very excited to get started. It's nice to be in the VHLM again.
4. I think it'll be one of the higher-ranked people on the team. Or a returning vet.
5. I'm a vet so I'm getting back in the swing of things. It's weird being in the VHLM again.
6. I think it would be Bo Horvat. He's a great player and would represent me perfectly.

1. This is gonna be an intense series. A lot of history between these two teams. I'm confident that we can get the series win though.
2. Right now my player is playing like I expected. I'm still fresh to the team so I'm not at my peak performance yet.
3. I think a good name would be the Mexico City Coliseum. That way our fans could give thumbs down to the opposing team.
4. Defense wins games. Clutch goals will be needed, but our D-core can do it.
5. I've bowled in 2 out of state bowling tournaments and have medaled in one of the 3 pairs so far. I'm trying to go 3 for 3 this weekend.
6. Being able to hang out with friends and do things I never thought I could. For example, I'm going to a bowling tournament this weekend and I'm excited to see old friends!

youloser1337 got a reaction from hylands in VHLM, Meet Wally!
"Alright kid, it's your time to shine. I'm putting you on the third line with the other new guys. This is your chance to do great things for this team. Don't let us down." - Mexico City Kings GM before Wally's first game.
Wally Lose gets set to take the ice before his first-ever VHLM game. This is also the first time in a long time since someone from the Lose family has stepped foot on VHLM ice. Wally knows he has big shoes to fill.
Wally Lose is the grandchild of professional VHL star, Justin Lose. He follows in his footsteps by signing with his grandpa's old team, Mexico City Kings, which Justin spent 1 season with before getting called to the Riga Reign. That was 17 seasons ago though.
"It's very nerve-wracking. I'm trying to make my name in this league, not just because my last name is Lose." - Wally on being compared to Justin.
What will this season bring to Wally? Will he follow in his Grandpa's footsteps and lead the Kings to a deep playoff push?

1. I think we are doing very well all things considered. I think we can move up and stay up with our core.
2. Very important. Our defense and goalies have been rockstars right now. I can't wait to work with them in the season.
3. It seems that the Reapers are still our rivals. They are a great team. But to be the best you have to beat the best.
4. I play a lot of games online. I'm currently playing Smite and Minecraft (very different I know). I'm also crocheting some projects.
5. I'm going to be in the VHLM draft pool which will be exciting. This is the first time since my grandpa was drafted in the family. (Justin Lose).
6. That's a very odd question. I'd be a tater tot. They are small and delicious.

Spirit Bear Award -
Randy Bobandy
The Spirit Bear award is chosen each off-season by the GM of the Bears. There could be a lot of reasons why a member might be chosen and each season an explanation will/might be given. It's a thank you. It's an appreciation of what you've done for Seattle or maybe through that the VHL. You're deserving! Maybe you've overcome something crazy in life or have kicked it up an extra notch in the VHL TPE earning department. It's a good award for good things that are good. So, what's the catch?
The winner picks a charity of their choosing (I'd like to know why IF you're comfortable with sharing) and I will donate $10! I know it isn't much, but it's something.. and I mean, think of if I would have started this in Season 49.
Randy Bobandy, also known by their member name as @AJW, is an absolute gem to me. He was never really part of the S67 dynasty Bears which drew a good group of us lads like Berocka, Dok, IR, Rayz, Frosty, oilmandan, etc together - but over time, with his last player and this player, he's become a VHL brother to me. He's helped huge with the team, is incredibly loyal and is always promoting activity and positive vibes in the locker room. All while tackling school and going crazy with football! The guy is awesome and is a perfect example of a Seattle Bear! Unfortunately their time with the Bears was cut short this season, but their accomplishments and efforts will never be forgotten by myself and despite them being gone, they will always be a Bear and more importantly, a VHL brother! I asked AJ, "What's a charity fund/organization that you would donate to if you could right now? and why?" over snapchat and they mentioned that they don't have any specifics and would like to help out some homeless foundation/community. Last season we went with Boyle Street in Edmonton after Tavish DeGroot (Rory) took home the first ever Spirit Bear Award! With a quick Google search, I find that Los Angeles has the highest homeless population, along with California leading the way. With that being said, I went ahead and made a $10.40 (to help cover fees) towards the Los Angeles Mission Homeless Shelter. Thank you @AJW for everything you've done for Seattle, myself and the VHL. Though... you did leave me on read

S89 Seattle Bears Season Awards
41 seasons behind me and I have never once done a "seasons award" during the off-season. We're putting in a lot of work to do whatever we can to make any and every experience possible improved. S89 was a very strong season in the regular season that seen us end the regular 72 with an 11 game winning streak and coming with in immediate striking distance for the Victory Cup when it looked far out of reach before the run. We ended up losing a very tough series to New York. Shouldn't have lost but we did. It happens. At the end of the day, reflecting, we had a very great team. I knew it then and I still think it now. We had a good group and it just couldn't click when it counted. Despite this, lots of success and I'm grateful and appreciative to have shared the journey of S89 with the group we had. Thank you to all of you!

🐻❄️ Spirit Bear Award - @rory

So, why @rory? Well, they were right when they said they were FISTED ANALLY BY A CIRCUS MONKEY during our exit press conference. Often, we do say our goodbyes to retiring or leaving players. Words were said, messages exchanged and all of that jazz, but no press conference question... Bana dropped the ball but here is the important message of the day... The ball can be picked back up. That's what we're doing here. Rory was a massive member to the Seattle locker room and displayed huge loyalty. Whether it was being shouted from the rooftops or in their own way, it worked and rubbed off on the team. Good energy, good times. They're a huge help to me in Seattle and I'm appreciative that we were able to look beyond our murky history/past, give each other a shot and it worked out. With that being said.. I asked Rory "What's a charity fund/organization that you would donate to if you could right now? and why?"
Rory, thank you for your efforts and the times during Season 89. I'm sorry you weren't sent off properly like I often do in the press conference! #PressConfGate I hope this makes up for it and congratulations on being the first ever member of the Seattle Bears family to put their paw print on the Spirit Bear Award. You are very deserving. Thank you!!
