  1. Devin Sundberg makes Davos fans a little uneasy as the Dynamo head into their first round playoff match up against the Cologne Express. Sundberg, who had a player option for next season has declined it just a day before the playoffs begin. Rumors had been spread around that Sundberg would be declining the option last month to sign a longer term deal with Davos in the off-season. Now there are rumors that Sundberg will take another crack at free agency but most still believe he will sign a 3 season deal as soon as the off-season begins. Sundberg had an average season but was good enough to lead the Dynamo in scoring with 79 points in 72 GP and with a team leading 34 goals. It's still unclear what Sundberg will do but the way Davos is slowly growing into a championship threat I doubt he jumps ship for the 2nd time in his short career.
  2. Congrats der meister!!! We still getting some TPE for entering?
  3. As soon as I find it, I WILL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  4. let's give the next member to sign up the job
  5. So it's around 3 am EST and like most nights I've woken up in the middle of night. I usually try watching a couple of episodes of TV show to fall back a sleep and while that is happening I quickly check the VHL for new games cause Jardy has usually posted them around midnight. Once again Jardy did that so I check them out but unlike most nights a big announcement has come while I was sleeping. Niklaus Mikaelson aka Da Trifecta has retired his goalie and has recreated. Now usually this isn't that big of a deal but Mikaelson was only in his 3rd season, had over 600TPE and was on a playoff bound Bears team. So why did he retire? well he didn't feel like sticking around on a Bears team that looks to be in trouble after this season. For me he jumped the shark as he was the best goalie of the future/present but he just didn't want to stay on the Bears. Oh course there are ways to fix that like asking for a trade/demanding for a trade but Da Trifecta didn't feel like he could wait till the off-season where the Bears problems could be fixed by either a new GM or the current MIA GM. Can't blame him for his disussion but probably wasn't the right one. Now that leads me to the current GM Bushito who has disappeared again on the Bears and has left the future of the club up in the air. Even more so with the early retirement of Mikaelson, leaving the Bears without a goalie moving forward and very little opportunity to replace him in the near future. For a while people have been calling for the firing of Bushito and while I've had mixed feeling about Bushito since I gave him the job, even calling him out really early on in his tenure. I think it's time to fire him, you can't have members retire so early in their careers because there GM sucks. Bushito has done an okay to good job creating a good team but things are starting to fall apart and he is nowhere to be found to fix the problems. Seattle was my VHL home for a very long time, longer then some members VHL and I really do care about how they're doing. Right now they're in a bit of trouble and all I want to do is help. Of course I can't really do anything as a normal member on another team. So to the Blue Crew please fix the Bears, get them a new GM (I even volunteer if you want) and help return them to a team that people either hate or love. I'm not leaving the VHL with the Bears in trouble.
  6. but I went from 21 goals to 28 goals...
  7. interesting deal for Montreal but nothing really out there to replace him
  8. yeah like Higgins said, any question you have don't be afraid to ask anyone
  9. Davos would of came with a better reaction if it wasn't orange I love the new Davos logo! I'd rebrand the Legion logo tbh
  10. HC Davos is heading back to the playoffs!! The Dynamo have clinch the final playoff spot in the EU Conference with 16 games to go. The reason they're in this spot is mostly the play of 2nd year goalie Callum Sinclair and back-up Dav G. Sinclair has really over peformed as he has put up numbers similar to the leagues best with 26 wins in 49 games, 2.05 GAA and 8 shutouts. Dav G has also done his job getting 6 wins in 7 starts with an unreal 0.53 GAA. The real problem that Davos might have as they enter the playoffs is goal scoring as they are currently the worst in that category between all the other playoff bound teams. They hope that recent addition Don Draper will be the answer to that problem as he brings more skill to a very forward group. If not it might be difficult for the Dynamo to pass either Cologne or Stockholm in the opening round of the playoffs which begin in a few weeks. In other Davos new rumors are that Devin Sundberg will be declining his player opition for next season to sign a longer term deal with the Dynamo which will keep him in Davos till the end of his VHL career.
