  1. uh hello everyone i’m back

  2. Ugh, school is so time-consuming and stressful and keeps me up all night. Over the last couple weeks I've just had no time to write anything regarding media spots for my TPE. I would either have to settle with a free week, or somehow think of one on the spot and just let my fingers do the work. I have some time to be as active as ever coming up to the start of the season, and can remain relatively active for the entire month of April which is fantastically great news! Then after that I have work on finals and exams with also the stress of moving (Holy crap kill me.) HEY THOUGH, It's almost over and the summer time is coming. My player is also getting ready for his rookie season in the VHL, and he's gonna absolutely wreck the league! Anyways, sorry for my little article that just sounds like me rambling and stuff. I'm gonna be even more creative with my new Media Spots and league-wide writings to be as active as I can. Cya all on the ice my fellow teammates and opponents! 188 Words.
  3. So close... yet so far. Logan Moore was one game away from gold in the World Juniors playing for Team Asia. Everything looked so promising before the gold medal game. Asia was shocking the world so far, making easy work of Canada and making them look like Great Britain. They came out of that short little series with a 3.75 GF. They would also go onto make it look easy against team Europe and World, winning regular games against them with scores of 8-3, 7-4, and 6-4. When they got to the semi finals vs Canada, they absolutely destroyed them, beating them 6-2 everything looked like it was going to go amazing for Asia. This team was one game away from taking the label of not being able to win gold on their backs. It was against Europe as well, who we dominated game 11 and game 15 against. But sometimes the hockey gods aren't on your side, and cause your entire team to fall apart to voodoo unknown magic. But then, the lights flashed on, the players laced up their skates, and it was time to go out onto the ice. And.. well, we got our butts handed to us. Europe ended up leading the shot department 52-27! Outshooting us 20-3 in the first, 23-13 in the second, and then us leading 11-9 in the third. That right there is just so awful, as every period they shot as much as some teams would shoot in an entire game. And then the penalty bug started to happen, and oh my did this kill us. When you take NINE penalties in a game, you're most likely not going to be able to recover. Europe was 3/9 on the power-play and we're lucky it wasn't even more for how we played that game. Everyone (me myself included) was just so undisciplined that game, and that's just atrocious especially in the game for gold. With all these penalties we took, Europe won gold with a 5-1 victory, and Team Asia held their silver medals in shame. Overall though, I can't be too disappointed. We shocked the VHL with our underdog-like run, and outplayed our opponents in most of the games we played. Logan Moore ended up having a great tournament, in the regular season he had 10 games played with 3 goals and 11 assists for 14 points. He was a plus 6 with 15 hits and 18 shots blocked. In the playoff games he had 2 games played with a goal and an assist. He was a plus 3 with 3 hits and 5 shots blocked. Even though Logan Moore couldn't win in the World Juniors, he's still looking forward to the VHL this season and is ready to tear it up with the Bears, and playing this very competitive hockey over the last month has taught him a lot and changed how he played the game. He learned to take opportunities to jump up into the play and be a great offensive AND defensive player for any team. Even though he still takes penalties, he's looking to work on that and change his ruthless violent behavior on the ice. 530 Words
  4. *Heavy Sigh* Do you just feel bored when the entire thing your life revolves around is just over for a little while. Well that's how Logan feels just about now. Sure there's the World Juniors happening tomorrow, but before that Logan was just left in a void with nothing really to do hockey wise besides training. Logan would go out into the cities and try to find anyone to talk hockey about with, but was left with weird stares because of his very loud voice he asks random pedestrians questions with. So now he is at home, looking at the TV of footage of Mexico winning the VHLM cup and thinks to himself "What could I have done better?" Logan paced around his room over and over, somersaulting randomly when he was tired of walking, and came up with a plan. He now has a daily workout routine to push himself to ultimate levels like no one has seen before. 150 pushups everyday no exceptions, with this number he will reach peek greatness. 59 pull-ups because it's 10 away from a number that he likes to snicker at. And at least 50 bench presses with his girlfriend sitting a-top the weight set, knowing full well what would happen if he dropped her. "Do these steps young kids, and you'll be as handsome, smart, rich, and handsome as Logan Moore." This is what Logan Moore had to say about his routine. Don't mind him saying handsome twice that was entirely on purpose.. right? 252 Words
  5. Since this is my first player ever since joining the league, this is my first ever World Juniors. I'm honestly so excited for what's to come and I'm interested in the scenario my player is in. Team Asia is interesting, because they're in a drought and no one really expects them to do much at all. Well you know what? I think the doubters are wrong. I believe in Team Asia this year and believe that we are a dark horse to be reckoned with. NO I'm not saying this just because my player is on the team, I firmly believe we can make noise this year. If I jinx our team well whatever, but It won't stop me. A team that hasn't won in years needs some motivation and kick in their step to get back into a winning culture and succeed. I do wish the other teams a good luck and warn them to WATCH OUT for Team Asia BABY! See you all out on the ice for the World Juniors! 173 Words
  6. Article of the week coming up, and it's about my team the Minnesota Storm. Currently we are down by 2-0 to the Mexico City Kings and things are looking very bleak. We give up so many goals to them, and our PK has just been god awful. I don't really know what the issue is, maybe it's just because Mexico is a better team? It's very jarring to me how we're giving up this many goals. There's still time for us to turn it around, but it's getting very worrisome at the moment. My player has been pretty good in the playoffs so far, but he might have to step up a lot more if we want to scrape by this team. We also as a team have to play better, and lock down on defense to really get an edge in this series. The offense has been pretty good so far so there isn't many changes I would make to that front. I wish all the best to my teammates and good luck to Mexico, we are in for a tough series. 183 words
  7. There are a lot of things in life where you have to take that big step, and step up to adversity and challenges in your way. A big step to take is moving up to the big leagues. Logan Moore has to take that big step next season. But can he stay there? Can he show the world what he is capable of? Can he be a confident player...? Taking your game to the next level can be challenging for some players, whether it being from not being ready, not practicing hard enough, or the overwhelming nature of it. Logan has been waiting for this moment forever, and he's determined on taking his game to another level. The VHLM season is almost over, which means he's getting closer to stepping onto VHL ice, but he blocks that from his mind. He's more determined on winning in the playoffs, and being a successful VHLMer first. Winning a cup would give him a greater legacy, and also give him more confidence to step up to the plate. When Logan was younger, he played pond hockey near his grandpa's small house in Detroit. He would always fall over every time he stepped onto that ice, looking shaky and overall not good on skates. His grandpa watched from afar, and he noticed him struggling. Logan would punch the ice when he fell over, and it looked like he was going to give up. Ol' grandpa Moore had to lace out the skates to talk to him. He skated up to him and said "What's going on buddy?' Logan looked up at him saying how he wanted to give up. His grandpa gave him a stare and a sigh, "You're not falling because you're bad Logan," he replied "You're falling because you aren't confident. One day I know you'll make it to the big leagues." Logan looked up at his grandfather with gleam in his eyes "But what if I never make it there?" his grandpa chuckled and smiled "Player in that league don't play forever. They will always take players with confidence to replace them, so stay confident in yourself." Logan always looks back at that moment if he is feeling down, feeling not good enough, or believing he won't be good at something. But now he has another chance to win a cup in the VHLM, and a chance next season to make a name for himself in the VHL. His grandpa's repetition of "confidence" gave him the support he needed and helped him persevere to where he is now in life. I feel that could be used to help in any situation hockey or not. If you're feeling like you're bad at something, or that things won't ever be better, it's not because you're actually bad at that thing, it's because you don't have enough confidence in yourself. We can all be what we want to be if we put enough time and effort into the things we love, and we can all be happy. 503 words.
  8. Hello everyone, today I'd like to write about just how well my player has been so far, and improvements I'm going to try to make. So far through 57 games with the Minnesota Storm, Logan Moore has accumulated 14 goals and 42 assists for 56 points. 56 points puts my player 7th in the VHLM for defenseman points. This is a major improvement from last year, as he's more than doubled his point totals from last year, which was 5 goals and 20 assists for 25 points. Defensively, Logan has a plus minus of 44 (which puts him 4th in the league for +/-) he also has 208 hits which puts him 10th in the league. Very huge improvement for the +/- as last year he was only a -3 with Saskatoon. He might not reach his plateau of 268 hits he got last year, but it's still a great season so far. He also has 76 shot blocks this year which beats out the 68 he had last year. Overall, this season has been a fantastic improvement from last year, which I thought at the time it would be the best he could play. I am happily surprised that is not the case, and I'll try to end the year with a strong finish. See you guys on the ice! 219 words
  9. sorry i posted twice lmao tonight has not been my night
  10. After the end of last season, Logan Moore was thinking of an interesting place to go on vacation. He grew up in a small town in Illinois, and was ready to feel a different environment for once. He got his wish, and he ended up going to Tokyo where he saw a bunch of cool sights. As he was roaming around the city with his girlfriend while weird ads of Japanese Cartoons flashed brightly into his eyelids, he wanted to post on social media the favorite things he did in Tokyo. FAVORITE FOODS IN TOKYO: Logan was a big fan of Tempura, it was a like a mix of seafood and vegetables. He said it really reminded himself of the food his mom made when he was younger, and it gave him nostalgia as he bit into every inch of the food. FAVORITE PART ABOUT THE CITY: He said the lights were definitely the best part of the experience. Walking around the city as the lights shined down on him, with their various colors lighting up the night in neon. The big screens broadcasting advertisements and other various things. He noted that there was an ad that actually showcased a hockey player in it, so he felt at him with that. SOUVENIRS THAT HE GATHERED: Logan Moore was enthralled by the souvenirs in Tokyo. He found a bunch of those white cats with the paw up, and his girlfriend found them very cute. So obviously since his girlfriend found it adorable he had to buy about 100 different versions of them. (she's kind of persistent on buying things she finds adorable and it's causing Logan to go bankrupt.) She also made him buy this Hello Kitty plushie that had a cute patrol officer outfit on. Logan then said "Okay that's enough!" and he bought some things for himself. He looked for something that most related to hockey. He bought a pin that had a mascot, which I think is from the olympics one year. It's a cat looking creature with blue squares and an aqua color stick. He also found another olympic related thing, which was a Japan jersey for the olympics. WORST THING ABOUT THE VACATION: It was the language barrier for Logan. He spent the entire plane ride looking at different Japanese Learning Books and he just couldn't grasp the language at all. He said he would rather learn how to lift monster trucks on his back. Every-time he would try to read a sign, he would squint at it for like 2 minutes, and the locals gave him peculiar stares probably thinking something along the lines of "Wow, look at that dumb American!" Logan mistakenly said a very preposterous word to a waiter and he was then slapped right across the face and forced out of the restaurant. Soooo yeah, not a great part of his trip, but he still made it work. SUMMARY OF THE VACATION The whole slap in the face thing was really bad, but everything else just makes the whole experience better. Logan Moore would have to give this vacation a 9.5/10! 520 words
