Working on his strength and defence better. 4.I am on the Ottawa lynx in the VHLM but drafted by Malmo in the VHL. 5.Yes I do Joe Sakic I’m a huge avalanche fan. 6. Summer for sure!
  2. The Ottawa Lynx came into this season with not much to cheer about after the year they had last year in the VHLM but this year things are looking vastly different. The team is 13-12-1 and is 4th in their division and with the team trending upwards it would not be a surprise if they make the playoffs. All 3 of their topline forwards are in the top 10 in scoring with Theodore Hoffman leading the way with 57 points while The Leaning Tower Of Pisa has 45 and Joshooo with 44. This team is very gifted offensively so it is not hard to believe that they can and will make the playoffs. The team has also been led my stellar performances from goaltender Barry Taffe who has kept them in many games this season and in my mind is just rounding into his own. Almost halfway through the VHLM season the Ottawa Lynx are ready to start performing their best and make a climb in the standings and make their way to the playoffs. And for every Lynx fan out there, a long playoff run would be just what the doctor ordered.

  5. Review: I think this graphic is just awesome! Its super clean, looks great and just overall grabs my attention. The king in the background is for sure the best part. It really blends in perfectly with with the picture and I love the colors that you chose to use for the letters. Overall this is one the best graphics I have seen on here so far. If I were to change anything about it I would just want it to be bigger that way even more attention would be drawn to it but overall amazing!! 9.5/10
  6. About Josho Josho was drafted 6th round by the Ottawa Lynx and it still only 15 games into his first season in the VHLM but has made a big impact for his team so far scoring 23 points in 15 games. He is well on pace to score over a point per game. Josho is looking to lead the Lynx to the playoffs and hopefully make a deep run. He is ranked to go in the top 20 of the upcoming VHL draft and could easily make the jump directly to the VHL but is more likely that he plays another full season in the VHLM after this season. The rest of the season will really prove to everyone if he is ready to make the jump to the VHL, only time will tell. Strengths Scoring: Josho has the ability to score there is no doubt about that with 11 goals in 15 games so far he is well on pace to score over 30 goals. Josho is most effective on the powerplay where opposing teams cringe whenever he is on the powerplay against them because they know he is likely to score. Passing: Everyone will talk about Josho's scoring ability but his passing is just as strong as his scoring. His ability to find his team mates is one of the best in the league and as a rookie there is no doubt that he can still get better and that is scary for any team playing against Josho. Skating: Josho is for sure one of the fastest players in the league, he is able to blow by players in a few strides. Watching Josho use his feet to score and pass is really a treat for everyone watching, except if you are the other team. Weakness Physical: Josho is not a big guy only 5'9 170 lbs sometimes you can see him struggle when he is up against bigger players, he also is not the best guy in the corners but he can always improve. Faceoffs: Even though he is listed as a center he plays wing most of the time, in part to his ineffectiveness in the faceoff circle. His coach has him in practice taking more faceoffs and working hard to improve on them to hopefully get him back to the middle of the ice where he can really improve. With his speed and the ability to win most faceoffs Josho would be one of the most dangerous players in the league. Josho has a real chance to be the best rookie in the VHLM this year. Josho also I think will be a dominant player in the VHL when drafted for years to come.
  7. Review: Wow for your first graphic this is great!! I really like the logo on the shoulders it really pops out! the logo on the front could be a bit smaller but still looks good especially for it being your first attempt at a graphic. The font you chose for your name could be better I do not think it goes very well with the graphic but still for you first time really love it. I would maybe next time try changing the background to something better or even try making it look more like a hockey card, it would really make your graphic pop more I think. Love the socks and even you putting in a stick is pretty cool. I do not really think you needed to make your players face pink. But overall great graphic for your first attempt!! 6/10 Great Job!!
  8. 1. I am very excited and grateful to be part of such a great organization! 2. I would love to play for any team in the VHL, all the teams are great but if I had to choose I would love to play for Vancouver, Love the city!! 3. I am looking to build my player with speed and the great scoring abilities. 4. Winning is everything to me so cups for sure. 5. Whatever team I am playing for is my favorite team!! So the Ottawa Lynx's of course!
  9. Josho The Great, forward for the Ottawa Lynx is off to a great start to his rookie year. Selected in the 6th round of the VHLM draft Josho has exceeded expectations thus far this season. For a team that most people didn't give much of a chance to do anything this season the Ottawa Lynx's have been a pleasant surprise. Josho is not leading the team in scoring but in 13 games played he has scored 20 points which is fantastic for a rookie so early in his career. When asked what has been the key to his success he gave all the credit to his team mates. " I would not be where I am so far this season without the play and team work of all my team mates. They have been so great to me so far and I really think that we are just getting things started, I can't wait to see what the rest of the year will bring!" Josho's play this season will for sure get him noticed for the upcoming S77 VHL entry draft. he is currently ranked in the top 20 but the sky is the limit for this young dynamic player!

  11. It was not the result that the Ottawa Lynx were looking for in their first 2 games. An opening 8-2 loss to the Reapers and then followed that up with 7-4 loss to the Halifax 21st. But it was many firsts for many young players on the Ottawa team. Including 6th round draft pick Josho. Earlier in the season we asked Josho what his expectations were for the upcoming season and he said " I hope I can do every part for my team to be successful and win games". That definitely wasn't the case in game number 1 against the Reapers. The entire Ottawa team looked lost against one of the top teams in the league and Josho did struggle through most parts of the first game. Joshooo 0 0 0 -4 0 4 2 0 0 0 2/4 25:18 3:23 0:00 With a minus 4 rating and no points scored it was not the game that Josho was hoping for but he did play 25 minutes during the game which shows that the team does have confidence in what he can do. When asked about his performance he said " For sure I was nervous at first but as the game went on I really thought that I was hitting my stride late in the 3rd period but at that point it was to late obviously". Josho gave his team mates praise for the game they played and not giving up even when being down by so much. But game 2 for the team as a whole was much better especially for Josho. Josho 2 1 3 0 0 8 0 0 0 0 1/2 26:22 0:52 0:00 Game 2 was much closer for sure with a score of 7-4 and Josho was the best player for the Lynx that game hands down. with 2 goals and 3 points Josho really showed his true potential and what he can do in this league on any given night, he also logged 26 minutes of ice time just a minute more than the first game. Speaking with Josho he was very happy in the effort the entire team put it. When asked if he was happy to score his first goals and points of the season he said " Well of course I was happy to score my first goal but I am not worried about that right now, I am just worried about with getting back to practice working with the group and coming out even stronger next game. It is all about this team to me and I was really proud of the group and what we were able to do out there". This Ottawa team is going to have some growing pains for sure because of how young of a group they are but they will be an exciting team to watch for sure. They take to the ice for the next game tomorrow 7ET against the Miami be sure to check out this great young team! 519 words TPE for week ending Jan 31st 2021

  13. Review: I really like this design that you have made. Its simple and straight to the point! It looks like you have not done many graphics just like me but I think it is a really good start! I really like the logo that you have put it but I think it would be better up in the right hand corner but that is just me. I like the font you chose for your name especially it really pops and it draws my attention right to it and I like that! The black background is also nice and simple that is always good because simple is good. By far my favorite part about the graphic is the flames behind your player, I think that is really cool and definitely the best part about the graphic for sure. Overall for your first graphic it is very clean and flashy. I very much like what you were going for! Great job!! 6.5/10
  14. Review: Wow!! These jerseys and logo are just fantastic. I really like the red and grey together I really find it blends very nicely together. The logo to is very nicely done. I really like the sword running through the entire logo and love the red cape and helmet that you added to the logo. It really draws my attention. The logo on the jersey to is pretty near perfect, just everything works so nicely together and overall very clean! Me as a player would be stoked to wear such awesome jerseys. I would love to see what you could do for an alternate jersey I think that would be pretty cool! If I could change one thing I would probably change the black to maybe a little lighter of a shade of black but other than that I wouldnt change anything! In conclusion love the logo, love the jerseys and I love the colors! Great job. 9/10
  15. Josho learned how to be the great hockey player he is today growing up in Sault Ste Marie, Ontario. He grew up only skating at Upper Island Lake on the frozen water. He only played with his 2 brothers for the start of his hockey career. He did not play in an actual league until he was 14. But that never seemed to bother him as soon as he starting play in the SMHA league in Sault Ste Marie. Josho started playing in the SMHA at the age of 14. He would go onto play 3 seasons in the league amassing an incredible. 200 pts in 150 career games in the SMHA. Including 100 goals. He won MVP of the league 3 years in a row. The first win MVP in his rookie season since 1995. Josho possesses poise and skill. His skating really makes him standout amount other players. His physical game could be improved but his defensive game is very sound. Josho was recently drafted 68th overall by the Ottawa Lynx in the S76 VHLM draft. I think that he will make an instant impact with the Lynx, his style of play will fit in perfectly with their system. Josho is poised to play top line minutes as well as PP and PK. The Ottawa team could not be happier in the late draft selection of this young forward. If Ottawa can make the playoffs this year that is where I think Josho will really shine. Josho in his young career has always been a top playoff scorer wherever he has played. And the proof is definitely in the pudding. Playing in the SMHA for 3 years Josho and his team the Pelicans were able to capture 2 Ron Francis Cups and both were back to back in his final 2 years. The Pelicans and Josho did make it to the Finals in their first season but were swept 4-0. That I believe was a big stepping stone in Joshos playoff production and ability. In the first year in 12 games he was only able to score 6 points, which is totally fine for a rookie of course but in the following 2 playoffs Josho really excelled. In 30 games in those 2 postseasons Josho scored 45 points in 30 games which is a true testament of how hard he works. He knew he did not perform well in his first playoffs and with hard work and determination he was able to take his game to the next level. Winning back to back playoff MVP. So I have very high hopes for Josho and the young Ottawa Lynx team. GO LYNX GO!
  16. As the 68th pick was announced Josho to the Ottawa Lynx I knew that when he would pick up the phone I would be able to hear the excitement in his voice and I was right. But I think the Ottawa organization is who should be most excited, because this kid is a stud. Josho has all the skills needed to perform greatly for Ottawa and he is a very easy going person as well which I think will help him grow throughout his career in the VHL. The lineups aren't clear at this point but I feel that Josho should and will be in the teams top 6. Even though I believe that is where he should play he said that it doesn't matter where he plays but that he is just happy to be drafted and hopefully can contribute in any way he can. With the season starting in a few days it will be great to see Josho on the ice and we hope he has a great first season in the VHLM.

He is projected to go middle of the pack but I believe that he could be a big steal in the draft and could have instant success on whatever team drafts him.
