  1. This is a little late as Trenton is currently playing in the VHLE, but this article will reflect back to the two seasons played through his career. To start things off, Rhys Trenton stands at a massive 6'8 and weighs 230 lbs. He is an 18 year old Polish native but took his talents to the SHL at 16 years old to play professional for the first time. Trenton first laced up the skates at the age of 2 and would spend lots of hours in his backyard ice rink with his father. Trenton started playing his first games at 6 years old and would instantly have to move up to play with older children. Ever since that first year Trenton would play against boys ages at least one or two years older. This is a key factor to his talent as he has always played good competition. Trenton's dream was always to play in the VHLM but spent one year in the SHL where he would play with the Malmo Redhawks before taking his talents to the VHLM. Rhys Trenton was late to join the VHLM in S78. Only playing a total of 46 games through his rookie season as he had some other personal/family issues to take care of before starting his professional hockey career again. Trenton found a home in Mexico City with the Kings and was a big help on the blueline putting up 12 goals and 43 points in his 46 games played. Trenton was learning the game again after his short break and was a wrecking ball hitter for his team having the fourth most hits in just over half the games played compared to his teammates. Fast forward to S79 and when Trenton really turned into the elite player he is. S79 was a full 72 game season for Trenton and where he really became a leader on his team. With 30 goals and 95 points, Trenton was the highest scoring defenceman on Mexico and the fourth highest on his team. He lead his team in Game Winning Goals and was one of the top guys in defensive stats for both hits and shots blocked. Between both seasons, Trenton doubled his point stats and turned his S78 -7 +/- rating to a +37. Trenton's efforts on the ice showed as he was soon drafted to the Vancouver Wolves with the first pick in the second round (17th overall). He would then shortly get drafted to the new VHLE league on the Cologne Express 37th overall. Trenton plans to spend a good chunk in Cologne in hopes to make his team champions one day.
  2. 1. If I make another one it will just be Rhys Trenton Jr. Carry on the legacy. 2. I am not too familiar with the VHL, so would not change anything. 3. Not really. I'm having fun just with my player. 4. Having a winning record as a backup is a huge morale boost to the team and gives us trust in him. 5. Scoring. Want my scoring and defence to 95. 6. Yes of course. The league is still in a close battle all around.
  3. 1. My player has been putting up a lot more points recently, almost a point per game. 2. It has been exciting to see everyone able to compete, makes the league more fun for every team. 3. Stockholm Vikings. Swedish team and the team has good depth. 4. Colorado Avalanche. 5. I had a Hercules action figure I'd always play with. 6. You're doing a great job with everything.
  4. 1. Pretty good. The standings are very close everyone is jumping around the standings. 2. My scoring and defence attributes. 3. I think we will have a deep run in the playoffs for sure. 4. My boys X Man and Pistol Pete. 5. Finish off the close goal games. 6. Put the puck in the net more.
  5. 1. It's pretty great to be the first of many to come. 2. Rocket probably, he is a S73 with the most experience and skill on our team. 3. Not really. Just because the Oilers had cups with Gretzky doesn't mean they have to win every year. 4. Saku Kotkakoivu - played with me in Mexico last season and he did well. 5. Probably Xavier Booberry at #23. 6. AJ Williams, went fourth overall and isn't even playing in the VHLE this year.
  6. 1. Mississauga will be tough but I think our team can beat them and move on. 2. Greiss 100000%. Stood on his head. 3. Our whole roster has been putting up points, a few need to fix their +/- though. 4. I hope Cologne wins since you run the team. 5. 1st or 6th to get back to back picks. 6. Not bad, used to everything by now.
  7. 1. 3rd is better than 12th, I think we need to stay consistent and get to the playoffs. 2. It's huge, Aky is a great add and player. 3. Very overrated, team average is better. 4. He is our offensive threat, I'm happy to have him. 5. PIM does hurt the team but I don't know if they're a liability. 6. Yes, he's the goat.
  8. 1. 100% Greiss, dude is always a brick wall for us. 2. Sunrise with his 40 goals is our most gifted. 3. I would want to say myself but I'm more offensive defenceman... Remy has the most hits and shots blocked on the team so I would say him. 4. I honestly think Greiss is, I played with him last year too and was just as good. 5. Defensive side of the game. 6. Seattle, lots of playoff history recently.
  9. 1. Not too familiar with everyone on this forum but hopefully the next GM will be great. 2. Keep motoring along, we're doing great. 3. I think they'll end up top 10, hopefully my player can be the best defenceman. 4. Break their legs. But I'm sure we will figure them out. 5. Mexico automatically gets to beat every team. 6. I would take over Mexico... Been the only team I know.
  10. 1. Compared to last season we actually have a full squad to help out Greiss. Our top 6 up front are solid. 2. I played on the Kings last season the biggest difference is just the new members. 3. Sushi (The deep fried ones). 4. Poland. 5. I like defence I wouldn't change. 6. I don't really know memes too well.
  11. 1. Everytime the habs won a cup, my dad is a huge fan and we would all gather around the tv to watch together. 2 Younger, not sure but I think Vegas just had a good draft. Better rules for them. 3. I was a server in university and worked with all girls, was a good time to be a guy. 4. Greiss 5. Be the offensive defenceman for the Kings. 6. Watching TV, drinking beer.
  12. 1. Not familiar with any of the new draftees, but I'm glad we have a solid group this year. 2. I hope we can go far in the playoffs... getting knocked out first round last season sucked, hopefully we can make it to the finals. 3. My 20th birthday will always be my favourite as I travelled around Ontario with my buddies for a month. 4. Not much will change in my life. 5. I hope not Yukon again, tough team last season. 6. You're doing great in my books.
  13. I'm not one to usually type out these articles as a welfare player, but the VHLM draft has got me excited so why not. My player Rhys Trenton is a 6'8, 230lbs defenceman who played for the Mexico City Kings in the S78 VHLM season. 12 goals and 43 points in 46 games last season is not a bad rookie stat line. I believe Trenton is developing into a good player and should be a solid pick for next season. His scoring and defence attributes are great compared to most defence in the M and should help to be a top defenceman in the league. I don't really care where he goes in the draft but if he is drafted in the first round I will be very happy. To whichever team drafts me, I am excited to play for your organization and I hope we can have a fun year, maybe even take home some hardware.
  14. 1. Work and train hard for next season of course. 2. Win the cup, I want to know we lost to the best team. 3. Hopefully be one of the top defenceman in the league. 4. I like Paris and Stockholm, if they spread all 6 out around europe instead of two in one country that would be cool. 5. No chance, Lightning in 4. 6. Not too bad.
