  1. It's all about how you finish.
  2. Landry Scores Hat Trick In Win CALGARY - In a game in which many things seemed to be turned upside down, perhaps the only constant was that Davos rolled to a 6-2 over the reeling Wranglers. But while the win was the HC Dynamo's eighth win in their last ten games, the win had an especially sweet highlight for team captain Thomas Landry: he recorded his first hat trick of the season. "It was great to finally notch it after getting close a number of times," said Landry after the game. "I just wish it could have been at home in front of our fans, that would've been even better. I think I had more goals than there were hats on the ice." With the hat trick, Landry now sits at 25 goals on the season, good for third on the team. His all-around play has led to him tacking on 35 assists, placing him at a team-best 60 points on the year. It may not be enough for an All-Star selection or an eventual home in the Hall of Fame, but those things have never been what is truly important for Landry. "It's all about Davos and getting the win in the end," added the captain. "That is all that has ever mattered to me." 3. I think Kaepernick is going to bust HARD this year. Defenses are getting the read option and that's really all he's good for. If you can take away his ability to scramble, he can't beat you with his arm. He's more of a handcuff than as asset.
  4. Had to dig pretty far to find a positive play for your team, huh?
  5. The Full Candied Jackets just don't give the kind of flavor penetration you'd expect.
  6. Random hot streak in the shootout, because why not?
  7. No way Penn State can ignore me now.
  8. Poll: Tic Tacs Not A Great Weapon NEW YORK - When you think of a weapon, what do you think of? Most likely a gun, a sword, an M18 Hellcat tank destroyer or maybe a B2 Stealth Bomber? But how effective can a cheap breath mint be towards protecting you? In a recent poll conducted by a bored member of the MSFL Times, it has been recently discovered that Tic Tacs are most likely not the best option you have in a confrontation. "Using Tic Tacs as a defense mechanism is not really a smart idea," said New York resident Bryan Smith. "Even if it's telling someone about their bad breath, they're not really going to help if they get offended by your suggestion." "An infant would take you down if all you had was Tic Tacs," said an unidentified male person that then clipped a guy with his vehicle. Kind of resembled Tony Stewart now that I think of it. Tic Tacs ranked rather low on the list of deadly objects, being beaten by the likes of cotton balls, earwax and Post It notes. Oddly enough, only Jakub Kjellberg was listed lower than Tic Tacs due to his inability to intimidate anyone. 20. The Long Haul DAVOS - The current regime in Davos is not exactly suited to failure, with the Dynamo having reached the playoffs in each of their last four seasons, with three of them ending in the Continental Cup Finals. Naturally, when the defending Continental Cup champions struggle out of the gate, people will take notice. Teams with less experienced and seasoned players might waiver under the burden of their own expectations, but this is not the case in Davos. "You know what, people have always doubted this team," said Thomas Landry, right wing and captain of the HC Davos Dynamo. "Seems as if they're the ones flat on their face when all is said and done and that's certainly been the case so far this year. Things started out rough, but we've gotten it together and made sure the Victory Hockey League knows who's in charge again." In a fitting twist of irony, the Dynamo are on a two-game losing streak as of the time of print. They will be Calgary tonight hoping to turn that around against the Wranglers.
