I'll post one of these over here, since it's not nearly as long as McWolf's: I'm not leaving. Not even briefly. I'm just going to embrace the clicker life and not have to do any actual work.

Not at all final yet, but currently the plan is for the first cooking stream to be Monday, Jan 10th. Prob around 9-10 PM (normally when I'm cooking for myself for the week it's at about 1 AM but I know that's unrealistic for people on more normal schedules).

No, but I saw that a few hours ago and it's what got me on the topic @Garsh - he's right. I've believed it for years, but never thought of some of the angles he took, and it brought the issue more to the forefront for me

I am all for the rebranding and stealing of the wing concept to call weird shaped nuggets boneless wings. Your not wrong with the arguments it's just, wings are messy and suck. You have to fight and work to get any scrap of quality meat no different than a rib. Society is stupid for liking these messy concepts. (And for eating at Carls Jr too, like what a slosh of mess their food looks like.)
Stealing the boneless wing concept opens the door for all us regular folk who enjoy food that goes in our mouth, sauce that goes in our mouths, and meat that isn't half fucking bone grizzle and garbage. We want to enjoy the concept of a wing, without the hassle. A Chicken McNugget isn't the same thing as a boneless wing from a wing place in terms of preparation, taste, and quality of food.
That said; I'll readily admit that I'm one of few who have this stance. People like their messy wings, their bibs to eat meat, their other associated gluttonous nonsense. You do you people, but I'll never stop calling them boneless wings. -

For those of us who still think the DSA is the "greatest country in the world" - there are dozens of countries wherein attempted coups are not tolerated, let alone spurred on by the leader of said country. The DSA is not the greatest country in the world, never has been, but never has it been more evident than today.

I think it's easy to overestimate just how many Americans (especially those from the Murica crowd) even knew the World Juniors were happening, let alone actually supporting Team USA. We're on a hockey site, the percentage of us here who would have watched it is not representative of most of the country. Honestly, I probably wouldn't have known about it had I not seen so many posts from VHL Canadians on discord about it, and that's from someone who actually follows hockey. Most of us don't.

So I've seen a handful of different members in their expansion articles touting me as the "best VHLM GM of all time" and while my most recent run was in fact an attempt to reach that title, I don't think I've entirely gotten there. I have the longevity over several stints, sure, but has it really been so long that we've forgotten @CoachReilly? I think I'd largely place myself 2nd, which is still a pretty hefty statement (and there are a lot of contenders in or around that stage) but 3 cups in 5 seasons is amazing and there's a reason the trophy is named the Jack Reilly trophy rather than the Jason Glasser trophy.
