Asher Reinhart

Asher Reinhart is a player you can count on when the chips go down. He was lucky enough to play for Philadelphia in their cup run and subsequent win in Season 75. In Season 76 he played for the Huston Bulls and that is where he turned on the gas. Asher Reinhart started off the season playing second line minutes against most teams and in a small sample size was just tearing teams apart and scoring goals and making plays for his line-mates. He was so good that the other members of his team wanted him to play on the 1st line to be able to take out the opponents top players.

Asher Reinhart after joining the first line took a dip in his production but started to see something more impressive. He was the shut down player that his team wanted and needed. He took on the tough assignments that allowed his other lines to flourish. Even when shutting down the other teams he still ended up being an above a point a game player. The bulls ended up with a great winning record of 61 wins 10 losses and 1 overtime loss. They ended up being first in the league at the end of the season, and were the top seed in the playoffs.

Asher took a big step in the playoffs having 20 points in 16 games. Asher helped lead his team to the finals. It was a hard fought battle that took 7 games to be concluded. They ended up losing but even in the end Asher did not give up and gave his team a fighting chance every game in that series.

What Asher does so well; Is keep possession. Asher had the highest face-off percentage out of every other player in VHLM in the 76 season. He had an amazing 64.3% face-off win percentage. If you needed a face-off win you put Asher in. If you needed to go and stop the opponents top player from terrorizing the team you put Asher in. There were very few games where Asher ended up with a negative plus minus. The was the rock that you could count on to allow the rest of the team to fly.

Asher was drafted 6th overall to the Toronto Legion where after a short training camp battle it became clear that unless a trade happened for an established center Asher Reinhart would be the starting Center for the team.
