Victor Grachev - Alternate Timeline

Victor Grachev has had an incredible run in Warsaw as a Top 2 Defenseman for the team. He's the 4th overall leader for Warsaw in points, 3rd overall in assists, 1st overall in PIM and Hits, and 2nd overall in Shots Blocked. Although no championship as of yet, Victor Grachev has had a great career on a stellar team.

 But what if things happened differently?

Going back to the S73 draft, fielding talks and discussions from different GMs, Victor Grachev entered the night uncertain of where he would go. There were a few teams that had seemed promising, but as the night rolled along into the 2nd round of the draft, it seemed that only two teams remained that had reached out to Grachev about a possible selection. As it came to pass, Warsaw selected the young defenseman with the 24th overall pick. Had Warsaw elected to go elsewhere with their selection or even selected a different D man that was still available, we all could have seen a very different Victor Grachev....
