Strengths:

Reinhart is quick on his feet and can get past players by out skating them with the occasional fancy move. He has a wicked shot and can find the back of the net consistently. His hardest shot was clocked in at 102 mph. If the puck comes to Tyler in the slot, there’s a good chance it goes in. Reinhart is hard to knock off the puck and has above-average edgework. He can hold onto the puck and make a play with little trouble losing it. He has great defensive awareness and will cover if the center is taking a long time to get into the defensive zone. He is great at angling people off and taking away passing lanes.

Weaknesses:

Reinhart isn’t a very physical player. Checking is a struggle for him meaning getting other players off the puck is hard to do. His passing ability is also struggling as he is not great at saucer passes or stretch passes. Most of his turnovers are from bad passes. This leads to him holding onto the puck for too long while searching for a pass he is confident in and also causes him to hesitate during his passing decision making.

Projected VHL Draft Position:

It's still early but as it stands Reinhart should be a 1st round pick and has the potential to be a top 5 player. This all depends on if he is able to keep improving at a solid rate.

Summary:

Tyler Reinhart is a very skilled player who is sure to make an impact on any team he plays for. His main struggle is going to be his passing ability as it is going to prevent a lot of scoring opportunities. He will however be a solid sniper who teams can rely on to put the puck in the net. And he will be a solid piece defensively.
