Reylynn had a respectable rookie season playing for the HC Davos Dynamo. She got to see a large amount of minutes playing on a young Davos team. They finished near the bottom of the league this season as they continue to push through their rebuilding phase. Statistically Reylynn had a great season and I will break that down for you now.

Reylynn is known for scoring goals. She has done so very well in every league she’s played in. Her first season in the VHL saw her score 16 goals during a 72 game season. Very impressive for a rookie defensemen. She doubles up her goals with 32 assists rounding out her season total at 48 points in 72 games. Reylynn is known more for her offensive prowess and that showed during her rookie season. She did however struggle on the defensive side of the ice. She finished a -30 this season which is among the leagues worst. It does attest to having a young inexperienced roster but that is no excuse and Reylynn will be focusing on becoming a reliable defender on both sides of the ice.

Playing in Davos has been great for Reylynn. Her management group was extremely welcoming and the locker room felt like home all season long. She looked up to fellow defender Tyler Walker as he has developed into an all star defensemen. She strives to be better than Walker one day.

Reylynn put a lot of training in during the regular season and so far in the off season. She focused a lot on her defensive play this season in preparation for this next season. She recently has been working on improving her skating ability as well as her puck control. As the off-season continues skating drills will be the focus as that was an issue of hers adjusting to the pace of play in the VHL.

Overall I would consider Reylynn Reinharts rookie season a success. She put up impressive numbers on a struggling Davos team. She learned a lot about what she needs to improve on to become an elite player in the VHL. She is grateful that she was given an opportunity by Davos to play in the VHL and wants to help turn this franchise around and bring a Continental Cup home! With the recent selection of players like Tessier, Tavau and the likes of Taro and Walker this Davos has a bright future ahead of them.
