Harkat Mulds

Height: 3'8"

Weight: 140 lb.

Age: Unkown

Position: C

Harkat Mulds is a unique prospect, being that he is roughly the size of a small child. However, after signing as a waiver in Yukon to play in the VHLM this past season, he has proven he has all the talent necessary to compete. He didn't light the league up, only putting up 7 points in 9 games, but that is very respectable for someone diving head first into a league with much more developed talent than himself. Considering Yukon ended up missing the playoffs and with a lottery pick, Mulds was pleased to have put up the numbers that he did. He has an elite scoring ability, and is defensively sound in his own end, which enabled him to really help out exactly where Yukon needed. There is work needed on his faceoff ability, but Mulds insists that he has a plan and to just trust the process.

Following the VHLM season, Harkat elected to compete in the brand new Juniors Showcase Tournament, which was held to accommodate a considerable amount of waivers that were not able to sign with teams in the playoffs. With the talent dropping off, Harkat was touted to be one of the best prospects in the tournament, and he lived up to that potential. As of now, Harkat's team is en route to the Finals of the tournament and he has helped lead the way with an impressive 17 points in 9 games. That's good enough for the 6th highest point total in the tournament and he leads the Steel in points and goals. Mulds is making sure that he proves size isn't everything.

The ultimate goal for Mulds is to eventually be a top player in the VHL, and he is doing everything he can to make it there as soon as possible. He is destined for another season in the VHLM, where he was recently drafted by the Yukon Rush. He is determined to repay the faith that management has shown in him by using their earliest pick to select him, and is aiming to be top scorer in the league.

As for the VHLE, Harkat isn't very keen on playing in the brand new league, insisting that he wants to spend as much time as possible in the VHL, and become one of the first players to play 9 entire seasons in the majors. He knows he has what it takes to be a steady contributor over the course of his career and is doing everything possible to make that happen.
