Top Executive Award "Jack Reilly Trophy"

This award is given out every season to the GM who puts in the effort and goes the extra mile to build a competitive team all while fostering the VHLM’s core values of player retention and development. This season’s nominees are:

Nominees:

:mis: @Zetterberg :mis:

The Mississauga Hounds were in a full rebuild almost immediately following their S77 Founder’s Cup finals loss to the Marauders. S78 brought some dark times for the Hounds as they would go 15-56-1 and finish 3rd last in the league. Following this the Hounds broke out following a spectacular offseason the Hounds walked to a Prime Minister’s Cup with a record of 56-18-3 showing a massive and impressive turn around! Although their season did not end the way they wanted, Zetterberg and the Hounds should all hold their heads high on what was a spectacular season.

:mia: @InstantRockstar :mia:

Similar to the Hounds, the Marauders followed up a season 77 Founder’s Cup win with an underwhelming season 78 which saw them finish with a 12-58-2 record and finish last in the league. Last season the Marauders were right back at it and went on an absolute tear down the stretch as they would fly up the standing passing both Mexico and Philadelphia to finish 3rd in the league with a record of 48-17-7. The Marauders would peak at the right time as they would go onto defeat the Hounds in 5 to take home their second Founder’s Cup in 3 seasons.

:mck: @Advantage :mck:

In a completely different storyline to both the Marauders and the HOunds the Kings finally made it back to playoff contention after winning the season 76 Founder’s Cup. this passed season the Kings were the perfect model of consistency as they would maintain a pace for practically the entire season finishing with a record of 48-17-7 good enough for 4th in the league. In the playoffs the Kings would shine, sweeping the Reapers in what was supposed to be a close series, before forcing a game seven against the top team in the league the Mississauga Hounds.

Congratulations to all our award winners and nominees! That concludes this season’s VHLM awards! Best of luck to everyone in what will surely be an incredible season 80!
