Game 20 (Playoffs) - D.C. Dragons vs. Chicago Phoenix

 

The Chicago Phoenix were looking to eliminate the D.C. Dragons. The D.C. Dragons were looking to begin a hopeful comeback. Desperate to keep themselves on the playoffs, the Dragons struck first on the power play just over 6 minutes in with a goal from Ronan Lavelle. However, the Phoenix were able to tie it up in the last minute in the first period thanks to a goal from The Board Game Clue On Skates. After first intermission, The Board Game Clue On Skates scored again 8 minutes into the second period to give the Phoenix the lead yet again. However, just under two minutes later, Taylor Mourning tied it up for the Dragons. The second frame ended and the third frame began. But there were no tallies in the third period. Tied 2-2, the game was going to overtime. It was an even game from both sides overall. Heck, after the game ended, the shots were tied at 34-34. But in overtime, the Dragons could not muster a single shot on goal. The Phoenix did, and it only took 4 shots before Sunrise van de Schubbekuteveen sent the Dragons packing, winning the series for Chicago.
