Randy Bobandy is a 6'4, 220 pound centerman from Nova Scotia, Canada. Bobandy grew up in a smaller community with his parents and two brothers. Bobandy is the youngest of 3 and was always trying to be better than his brothers in anything. The family had a deep connection with barbeques, cheese, and hockey, and since Randy's two older brothers were addicted to the cheeseburgers, Randy chose hockey to be his main hobby.

Randy would spend his days with the neighborhood kids playing road hockey. He had a hell of a shot and wicked hands, but his speed was so low due to his belly being so big. I swear that kid could drive 3 cheeseburgers to his stomach before you could blink. Randy loved the sport so much that it was all he would think about (besides liquor). Growing up loving hockey was difficult when you don't have a lot of money. It was not until the young age of 17 years old when Randy was able to afford skates and play actual ice hockey. It was his dream to play ice hockey and now he tears up the ice everyday with his buddies. This lead to his group to put in a team for a local hockey tournament in Nova Scotia.

Randy was pumped to play for the Sunnyvale hockey team and finally see some competition. The headlines said that Nathan MacKinnon would be playing in this tournament, so the pressure was on.

The tournament was a blast for Randy even though his team did not let him play at all. Nathan MacKinnon even pulled Bobandy aside after the game and encouraged him to check out the VHLM. MacKinnon said Bobandy has the face, body and skill to be a pro one day just by the way he rides the pine. Bobandy was extremely pumped up to hear MacKinnon say that and quickly after began training for the VHLM draft. Bobandy knew that he may not have as much experience, knowledge, skill, or anything better than other draft eligible players, but it does not matter because Nathan friggen MacKinnon told him to do it.

Bobandy would train skating with Jim Lahey every morning before their daily liquor shot, he would practice body checking with Ricky each afternoon which was basically just wrestling each other, and he would practice his shooting/puck handling with Julian at night. Julian is the man who made Randy so good with his hands, it's easy to learn from someone who constantly has a drink in their hand every day. Randy Bobandy feels ready for the draft and can't wait to see where he goes.
