S86 Davos Jersey Retirement

Hello everyone and thank you for taking the time to read this. Over the course of the past 8 seasons Davos has been through a lot, including a considerable rebuild and a few championship pushes. When I first took over as GM I retired the numbers of 2 Davos legends in Taro Tsujimoto @Gustav  and Kunibuni Unguri @Berocka, today we will welcome another Davos legend into that exclusive group.

 

 

DAVID TAVAU - @Ahma

David Tavau was the face of Davos for much of his 8 seasons here and served as captain for the majority of that stretch. Very few people can say they have as much passion for the city of Davos as Tavau and it is for that reason why we have the honour of retiring his #54 today. The 11th overall pick of the S78 VHL Draft, Tavau had a great VHL career, over the course of his tenure Tavau played in 574 games and put up 87 goals and 353 assists for a total of 440 points. Additionally, Tavau's optimism and locker room presence was truly a bright spot in Davos during the rebuild and more recently during our competitive window. It's an honour to have had Tavau on Davos.
