Toronto was not able to compete against London. In the first period, Chiang scored two goals at the end of the period. Toronto had only four shots, London had 15. The same continued in the second period, once again at the end of the period, Avens managed to put one into the Legion net, 3-0 after two. The third period was the most even period in the game as Toronto had 8 shots and London 13, but neither team managed to score any goals. A frustrating game for Toronto, the spearing major taken by Loki Baker at the halfway point of the third says it all about Toronto's game; London was simply better this evening.
