Randy Bobandy is a Canadian born hockey player currently playing for the Oslo Storm in the VHLE. The paths he took to this accomplishment are very long and winding but the main reason he got here is only for his love and passion for the game of hockey. If Bobandy didn't have the want of playing hockey everyday like he does, there is without a doubt he would not be playing in any professional league.

Where it all began was Nova Scotia, Canada, in a small trailer park called "Sunnyvale Trailer Park". Randy Bobandy was born into poverty, drugs, and little to no intelligence. Growing up in a trailer park is a struggle since most of the inhabits are not meant to succeed in life anywhere further than where they are now. Bobandy was different though, and you could see this from a young age. His father was a huge hockey fan and while living in Canada the sport was all around. Hockey was like a gateway drug to a better life in the trailer park. It would get people active, connect people to one another, and would make you spend time away from all of the bad things in your life. Randy's father put a road hockey stick in Randy's hand as soon as he could walk. He loved playing with his son anytime he could and hockey was when they bonded the strongest. Randy and his father would play with all the neighborhood kids including the bottle throwers. Randy played hockey everyday and after a few years he became the best out of all the children. Without any money, his parents were unable to put him in an actual ice hockey league, so the trailer park owners decided to pitch in to fund it. They could tell that this kid had talent and was one of the only bright lights in that trailer park.

At the age of 6 Bobandy put on his first fresh set of equipment and started in the Nova Scotia timbits league. He was a horrible skater at first but once he got the hang of it no one could stop him. As he accelerated through the trailer park in skill level, he did the same in the leagues he played. Each year Bobandy would move up with his age group and always be the best no matter who he played. This caught attention of the Atom A head coach for the minor team. Bobandy was only 7 at the time and the kids in that league were 9 years old, two years older. But with it being an A skill level team, they wouldn't be playing the top AA teams and Bobandy stood a chance at competing. Bobandy played his first minor league hockey season with the Nova Scotia Minor Atom A's and went on a storm. He lead his team to provincials and they won it all. More and more people got notice of this kid and started learning who Randy Bobandy really was. Bobandy would keep playing throughout the years with all expenses paid as each season his coaches would support his family in order to have Randy play.

Fast forward through the years, Bobandy was always playing with kids either one or two years older than him. He continued to out perform most players while leading his team to many tournament wins. He was a true talent and comparisons were already being brought up before he was in high school. Names like Mike Szatkowski, Christian Stolzschweiger, and even the great Scotty Campbell. This was a lot for a young teenager, but he kept moving and always remembered where he came from. His goal was to play in the VHL, be a star, and provide for his trailer park. Bobandy eventually got to the Midget age group where scouts were hot on his tail. Big teams from all around would come and watch the under-ager make older kids look silly. The VHLM was known as the hot spot to play if you wanted to make the VHL, and scouts from all ten teams were present at every single game Bobandy played. The pressure was on for the kid to succeed but in reality there was no pressure at all, he was a natural born talent, a hockey god in his youth, and every single person who knew the name now was ready for a bright future. Bobandy would finish his minor hockey days leaving a trail of flames behind him. He was the top scouted player in the world and social media were like flies swarming around him.

When he turned 16 it was time to introduce Randy Bobandy to the world of junior hockey. Although the thing was he was too young to play in any league yet as the minimum age required was 18. His talent had leagues craving for him and the VHLM officially dropped their age requirement to 16 so they could see the kid in action. With this rule change they allowed Bobandy to choose which team he would play for instead of being drafted to the worst team in the league. Bobandy had a tough decision to make with all ten teams wanting him. Each team would try to tamper Bobandy into joining them buy sending gifts, offering the nicest living spaces, cars, jewelry, you name it! At the end of the day Bobandy through a complete curveball and hopped on a plane to Mexico City to play for the Kings. The entire country of Canada was at an outrage, their number 1 star, a great to be is playing in a different country and it isn't even the USA. Bobandy was a young teenager through and going through an important stage of any boy's life. He said his reasoning was for the women and the hockey world now had their first taste of Randy Bobandy.
