Over the course of Skor McFleury’s hockey career he has seen a lot of growth since being dropped on the roof of Cole’s cars roof in Mexico City by a hungry seagull. Having been born in Halifax, Canada, McFleury was never picked up by the purchaser and was discarded and eventually washed into the ocean. While McFleury was technically made in Canada, McDonalds is an American company and as a result, when McFleury became sentient they became an American citizen even though they were at the time in Mexico. Currently McFleury can be seen playing for the Cologne Express.

Likely due to the magic that is the madness it takes to order a McFlurry in January in Halifax, McFleury didn’t start playing Hockey until they became sentient and started playing for the Mexico City Kings of the VHLM as GM cole really needed more defensemen and figured the refs wouldn’t notice a McFlurry on the ice, they didn’t. Between the second and third periods something changed with the regular old McFlurry, as they grew from 6” tall and 1 pound to a height of 6’0” and 215 pounds, growing legs, arms, and a weirdly human torso. Why this happened? Nobody knows, some say it was a inherent love for the game, or the tears of a child, or the most likely answer, the madness it takes to order a McFleury in January in Halifax.

Since starting to play Hockey, McFleury hasn’t really done much else, given that they are not human they do not need to sleep or eat, and just have not left the hockey rink and has never stopped practicing. Showcasing a remarkable work ethic, McFleury has quickly risen up the draft rankings, despite the fact that at any given moment the magic could run out and *poof* no more Skor McFleury.

During his time with Mexico City Kings, Skor McFleury played well posting a solid 3 goals, and 13 assists for a total of 16 points in only 20 games. Furthermore, McFleury also was a +22, had 36 shots, 14 hits, and 12 blocked shots, McFleury also showcased their discipline and only took 1 minor penalty. In the playoffs McFleury’s production dried up as they only had 1 goal, and 3 assists for a total of 4 points in 11 games, their physical play also evaporated. It was in Mexico City where McFleury also learned that there are other sentient McFlurries, with teammates Reece McFleury, and Oreo McFlurry. Maybe there is just something in the Mexico City water that makes them come to life and learn how to play hockey. While in Mexico, McFleury also got to learn from fellow top prospect Randy Bobandy who taught the brand-new player how to skate and shoot a puck, also how to speak but that’s not important. Since Mexico McFleury made the decision to go to the VHLE a season early, seeing as they have never stopped practicing their game has progressed quickly and they have proved that they belong in the tougher league. When the time came to choose a team McFleury elected to go to Geneva, but after learning that people eat McFlurries, they got spooked and requested a trade to a contender in Cologne, where McFleury is 100% sure people do not eat McFlurries.

Since joining Cologne, McFleury’s game has elevated in a hurry, and they currently have 7 goals on 98 shots and 25 assists for a total of 32 points in 36 games played. McFleury is currently tied for 10th in league assists, and 5th in defensemen scoring. Additionally, McFleury has not shied from the physical side of the game with 75 hits and 49 shots blocked, additionally McFleury is currently a +13. With this it is important to note that he has taken a lot of penalties with a total of 22 minutes spent in the box. While McFleury’s game has taken a big step forward in Cologne they have been taken under the wing of veteran VHLE players like Matty Live, who he has modeled his game after to an extent.

While in Cologne, Skor McFleury has been a standout player and while the team lacks another top prospect that has already been drafted, several of the players on the roster have stepped in to fill a mentor role for McFleury, specifically, Miroslav Tsarov has been a huge mentor for McFleury and has been able to speak to them about the draft, and the VHL as a whole. Currently, Skor McFleury plans to make the jump to the VHL next season and has already spoke to a couple of GMs reach out to them to discuss their future and viability with their teams. He has said in multiple interviews that he hopes to spend his entire career with the team that drafts them, although they have said before that they will not play for a team if the GM does not do their due diligence and speak to them prior to the draft. While McFleury’s career has been rather unconventional, they are certainly on the right path and look to bring a championship to Cologne.
