Game 541 - HC Davos Dynamo vs Seattle Bears

 

The Seattle Bears lost in a close match against Dynamo, who scored 5 total goals against the Bears' 4. The first period was a hectic one for the Bears as they'd go on to give up 3 goals while scoring one themselves. It took 11 shots against the Bears' 9, but Dynamo found the lead. They quickly found the score to be more even in the second period however, as the Bears would go on to match the 3 goals, while the Dynamo simply found one hitting the back of the net. Sitting at a 4-4 score, the Dynamo and Bears fought it out for another 2 periods before Johnny Tsunami's goal in the SO period brought the Dynamo to the win. With two goals, Gianfranco Del Rocco deserves recognition as the best player, and Felicia Hardy's goal in Period 1 should be looked at as it kicked off the game.

 

Game 557: Prague Phantoms vs Moscow Menace

 

With a blazing start, Jarmo Ruutu pushed Moscow into the game with the first of two goals in the first period. While Prague attempted to fight back against Moscow's offense, the overwhelming number of shots Moscow affected Prague like an avalanche. They were never able to get off more than 20 shots against the menacing Menace. Prague's 2 goals came in first and third periods, though Moscow's Jarmo Ruutu scored two goals, as well as Obuz Schneider Canet du Bocage and Pombo. Overall, the 40 shots taken by Moscow may have helped out with the scoring total, having 4 goals in 40 shots against 2 goals in 18 shots, and Jarmo Ruuta deserves to be one of the 3 stars in this match for matching Prague's total goals.
