Pavel_Ovechkin 0 Posted January 21, 2016 Share Posted January 21, 2016 Brady Aiken former #1 pick is back to throwing off a mound just 9 months after TJ surgery, reports are his arm was hitting 92-93 already. he could be a 97-99 mph left hander when its all said and done, no reason he should have slept to 17 even with TJ surgery, its not a career ender anymore an some think its whats best for young pitchers. They think its best because you're arm will eventually go through a tear like that, it's almost automatic. Buddy had two TJ's and still plays AAA, albeit out of the pen now. Saw a big report about it, players can have 2 TJ surgeries and the recovery time is lowering, but the amount of pitchers getting the surgery has been climbing.
