The VHLM season is underway, and as many should have expected, Brampton Blades right wing Pete Stockton is among the league leaders in goals and points. Through 14 games, the big hitter has 12 goals and 22 points, both good for top-ten spots in the league.

Of course, as one of the most-developed players in the league, Stockton should be up there in points. As one of the better checkers in the league, he should also be among the league leaders in hits, where he currently stands at seventh in a densely packed leaderboard. Nine players have between fifty and sixty hits, which should make for an interesting race when it comes to deciding the best defensive forward in the league this season.

With nine wins and five losses, the Blades are in second place in the North American Conference, two points behind league-leading Ottawa and their new general manager, Scrub Jardy. Once the Lynx realize their leader is a plug, they should rightfully fall in place and let the Blades take things over for the remainder of the season.
