SUPER CUP - 1ST ROUND MOCK

1st overall - Ethan Osborne

A proven winner who can fill the number one center position and he had the best face-off percentage of all eligible players at almost 65% on the first line in Helsinki. 110 points this season in the VHL puts him second among eligible centers, but his Continental Cup and leadership awards speak volumes.

2nd overall - Kameron Taylor

Another top center goes off the board when Taylor is selected. He led eligible centers in points with 112 and was second in face-off percentage with 64%. Taylor had a big season with Cologne and he is playing in the playoffs for the first time so he should enter the Super Cup in top condition.

3rd overall - Yuri Grigorenko

A fifty goal scorer is next off the board when this Quebec City sniper is selected third overall. Grigorenko can compliment any center that this team picks up later in the draft with his skill on the left wing. He is second among winger scoring in the VHL this season and is looking to go deep into the playoffs with the Meute.

4th overall - Remy LeBeau

The first goalie to be selected is a former Shaw Trophy winner as LeBeau is taken 4th overall. He has proven that he can keep a team in any game as he displayed in Season 34. He had the best save percentage of all eligible goaltenders with a 0.923.

5th overall - Tuomas Tukio

With the first goalie gone the next team feels the pressure to select a goaltender for themselves. Tuomas Tukio is the best available option eligible and is selected 5th overall. He is a proven winner who has a lot of experience in the VHL playoffs. He led the league in goals against average with 1.90 and was first among eligible goalies in wins with 45.

6th overall - Anatoli Zhumbayev

Did you see AZ in the World Cup last season? He broke 100 points this season with the Helsinki Titans and won a championship last year. He is another high scoring winger and is taken at 6th overall. Offense is the key to winning and there are many good options, but we consider AZ to be one of the clutchest players in this league.

Just want to say that I was the linemate of Zhumbayev in the S34 WC and we had a crazy chemistry..

You know , just throwing that out there. :)

Wish one of my good players was around for this. :(

I'm assuming Labatte, Ryback, Wozniak and Marcellin are all ineligible given they have retired/this is their last season? Meaning their re-creates are eligible?

Correct.
