You really like making the text the focus, I get that and it's fine, but you need to get more lighting on the render so that it doesn't just become a BG piece. The text is so vibrantly white here and the render doesn't stand out much at all, even with the green. Get some nice light on his face. Nice subtle use of the BG text and the stock work does a good job of creating depth. Text is a little bright as I said but otherwise works relatively well.

I actually like your style of making the text the main focus. Though, the lighting should help the text, well honestly the whole signature needs some good lighting. That's the only thing I see holding this signature back.
