VHLM Power Rankings: Last Week

My birthday party is over. Time for another article.

 

 

 

 

 

*PLAYOFFS!*

 

 

1. Saskatoon Wild    ▲ +1

There are two news for Saskatoon fans. The good news is their team finished a regular season with three wins and they are still looking like favorites for the Founder Cup. But there's a bad one - Adwyer decided to departure himself out of the sim leagues (although he claimed a welfare in SBA today) and this team will make a try without a GM. Is this going to distract them? Not until the finals at least, that's for sure. 

 

2. Yukon Rush ▲ +3

SURPRISE MATHAFACKA!!! Brampton and Yukon are showing to us, why their matchup isn't going to be less exciting that Bern and Bratislava clash. Yukon managed to make a 7-0 streak before losing two last games. That 7-game streak includes wins against Bern and Moscow; do you see, how serious it is?

 

 

3. Brampton Blades ▲ +3

And here comes the Brampton! They were even more serious - they got wins against Moscow, Bern (twice!), Bratislava...and even over Saskatoon. Apparently 3 shots to the net is not a problem for Brampton, but Yukon isn't done yet, so let's see who will face Sasky in NA finals. 

 

 

4.  Moscow Red Wolves  ▼ -1

Their last week record wasn't super impressive: 7-5 with 3 OT wins and 1 OT loss, but 15 points was enough to grab a first place and wait for Bern/Bratislava in EU finals. This team remains pretty defensive and I don't think they will change their game plan for this season...probably the last season for Moscow. It's basically all or nothing situation for this team right now. 

 

 

5. Bratislava Watchmen   ▼ -4

What can I say about the last week? Kinda meh IMO. We finished this season with 7-win streak, but we failed all 5 last games against contenders. I'm disappointed a little bit, Power still is optimistic about our chances. We better win against Bern, the L can make me really mad. 

 

 

6. Bern Royals  ▼ -2

I think Bern had a meh finish as well. Despite their offensive potential, the defensive powerhouse of Moscow took a bye round and Bern collected only 9 points in last week. If Rubba Band isn't going to step up his game, Bern will have an early exit. 

 

 

7. Oslo Storm   ►0

They somehow found Moscow's number, but after that they finised regular season with 9 straight loses. But Edwin is the best goalie in save % stat, so TLO shouldn't complain. He probably is feeling sorry for Edwin and for @YEAH!stlemania himself: Yeah still is unlucky in VHLM. 

 

 

8.  Ottawa Lynx ►0

One more point from Yukon and they finished this season with 12 points. Worse than BRT in S50, but that's not a worst Ottawa season, they had a more shitty stats in S41.
