Smarch 3,180
League Leaders In the second installment of the playoff edition of the Victory Hockey Leagues’ league leaders, well look into who is leading the league in goals and assists now that we sit in the Continental Cup round. Last time we looked into the statistics the playoffs were only three games old with very few results. Now well take a look and see who might lead from here on out. Previous Leader in Goals: Joel Järvi (4 goals; 3 games) Current Leader in Goals: Tom Lincoln (7 goals; 11 games) A member of a team not currently playing in the league finals, Lincoln tried his hardest to help Cologne to the finals with no avail. Lincoln had an impressive post-season none the less, putting up seven goals in the Express’ eleven hard fought playoff games. Although Lincoln didn’t make it to the finals with his great performance, he can leave the ice at the end of the day saying he did his part. Previous Leader in Assists: Phil Hamilton (6 Assists; 3 games) Current Leader in Assists: Niels Skovgaard (14 Assists; 11 games) Another member of the Cologne Express is the league leader in assists, as Neils Skovgaard finds himself on the top of the list. Skovgaard was on fire for the Express before the dreaded 3-1 series lead curse, netting fourteen assists in the eleven playoffs games Cologne played in. Although Skovgaard is in the lead right now, one has to believe he won’t be able to hold that position not playing in the Continental Cup finals. *For Snatch* Edited November 15, 2016 by Smarch Link to comment https://vhlforum.com/topic/35281-playoff-leaderboard-2/ Share on other sites
