RandomHero 55 Posted January 10, 2014 Share Posted January 10, 2014 The wait for Jakob has been a lengthy one but his rights have finally been claimed by the VHLMs Bern Royals. VHL.com managed to get a hold of the Swedish left winger as he entered the Royals rink to get his thoughts on joining the club. "I am glad to be apart of the Royals organization and am looking forward to help contribute to their success. I am hoping that the city welcomes me with open arms and that my time here will help me improve my hockey skills and help me get accustomed to the different style of play within the VHLM. I am hoping that the coaching staff just gives me an opportunity to help contribute and play as many minutes as possible and hopefully I can catch the eye of one of the big clubs in the VHL while I am down here." At this point Jakob walked over to the door to the locker room to find out it was locked. Looks like the rest of the team is already being welcoming to the eighteen-year-old.
